Good place to relax with friends

Beautiful property, pleanty of room for the crew to relax, share a meal and reconnect. Host was very responsive to any questions. Definitely would stay here again.

Smooth Experience at a Lovely Place to Stay

Everything about this cabin was great. The space, the amenities, the surroundings.. Basement also works as an independent unit with its own kitchen, washer/dryer.

Family Reunion 2024

The Rosa Lake Lodge is a perfect location for friends and family to gather. The cabin is incredibly beautiful with plentiful amenities. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. And the outdoor space is perfect for enjoying the lake or an evening campfire. We had an incredible week and can’t wait to return!

Adult Side by Side Weekend

Group of 8 adults went up to ride side by sides for a long weekend. House was perfect. It was so clean and fully stocked with anything you can imagine. Communication was easy and always got back to me very quickly. Would love to stay there again and would recommend.

Fun getaway!

Overall booking to check in process was fairly easy. My family had a wonderful time there at the cabin. There was ample of space for my group of 13! The kids absolutely enjoyed the lake. The hosts did a wonderful job staging the place. We hope to come back again in the future! :)

Outstanding Cabin

The cabin is spacious with beautiful views of the lake and tall trees. We enjoyed the large and well organized kitchen for preparing meals and playing games. The beds were so comfortable. Outside there were lots of watercraft and a great fire pit. Our group had so much fun on the lake and relaxing around the fire. Our group would love to come back again and again!

4th in Cable

Excellent experience, big spacious cabin for our group of 18. Lake was clean and quiet. Nice to not have motors on the lake and let the kids paddle around and swim. Lillypad was a hit, as was the fire pit. Well stocked kitchen, and many dining areas. Sauna was really nice! We will be back.

A beautiful place in the woods!

My family of 18 enjoyed a week long stay at the Rosa Lake cabin. The Lillipad, paddle boards, and kayaks were a favorite daytime activity along with evenings on the deck socializing by the light and warmth of the fire table. JD was quick to respond to all our needs; he was so helpful in every way. We had a wonderful time!

Highly Recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! Everything is super clean, very spacious, and the cabin had everything we could have needed. Communication was great too and check in was easy. There was so much to do at the cabin and it was incredibly peaceful. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boards and the fire pit. We never even saw another boat on the lake and it was very quiet. Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate to book!

Awesome !!

This place was fantastic. We rent thru VRBO a lot and by far the best place we ever had. So clean and the kids enjoyed the lake. They were on it every day in canoe, paddle boards, kayaks and also fishing boat. Caught some nice bluegills. Sat around the campfire every night. The owners were wonderful. Thank you so much.

Rosa Lake Lodge was the perfect location for our large family vacation and we'd love to go back again! There was plenty of room for all 14 of us to cook and enjoy time together, but also spread out into smaller groups. The kitchen was very well stocked, beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms and showers, and lots of hang-out areas inside and out. We spent a lot of time on the lake and it was so peaceful -- very few others on the water during our stay. The location made it easy for a day trip to Bayfield and a trip into Hayward; Cable was also super cute with good food and coffee, cute shopping, and anything you might need at the hardware/grocery store. This vacation was exactly what we were hoping it would be and we didn't want to leave!

Absolutely Beautiful

The property was very clean, furniture very nice. Their were 8 of us adults. Loved all the wood for fire pit which we used every day. Evenings we ate at several supper clubs. We went in October so leaves were brilliant. Lots of deer roaming. Hope we can go back.

Fabulous house close to the American Birkie Trails.

We had a great stay in your home. If our junior cross country skiers race in Cable, we would love to stay here again. Our families thought it was great and good location from the Birkie Cross Country Ski Trails. It was less than 15 minutes away. The house was large enough to accommodate four families and two coaches. It had everything we needed to make healthy meals and play fun games. The host was a great communicator and very accommodating. Again, thank you for sharing your home!

Perfect for our large family

My large family used to travel to Hayward every year and canoe the Namekagon River but because of Covid, this was our first year back in the area in a long time. We couldn’t have been more pleased, landing instead in nearby Cable. The house easily accommodated all of us, allowing us many spaces, both indoors and out, to congregate or to find privacy. The two well equipped kitchens were perfect for us and we used both all week. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was so clean. Rosa Lake is a quiet lake which allowed us to hear the loons every day and canoe and kayak the peaceful waters. It was heaven on earth and we’re already talking about coming back next year. The host was the most communicative and helpful I’ve had on VRBO as well. I can’t say enough about the experience.

A Wonderful Family Vacation!

Our family just returned from a wonderful week at Rosa Lake Lodge! It was a perfect place for our family of 9 adults and 8 grandchildren, from age 6 months to 14 years old. Our priorities for a vacation home for our crew include plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a large well stocked kitchen, and plenty of seating for meals . Rosa Lake Lodge provided all of that! The living room area was also nice, with additional areas to be together both in the loft and lower level. We all loved the lake activities that were right outside the door down a few steps. The kids swam and everyone enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, row boat, and lily pad…along with fishing. The hosts were easy to communicate with and have a heart for hospitality! It was easy to drive just about 15 or 20 minutes and rent a pontoon on one of the other lakes. We also enjoyed driving about an hour to Bayfield Wisconsin, and taking the ferry to Madeline Island.

WOWIE!!

15 of us traveled. My partner, my 3 children and their 7 children. We all love to fish and the littles were able to do that from the pier. Ample boats and water toys provided. The kitchen was a dream to use. No contact with host was needed while we were there but they were quick to respond to all queries during planning. Plenty of space to spread out for games, quiet time, overlooking the water, in the water or on the water. The only drawback any of us felt was the distance to a full grocery shop at the Marketplace or super walmart. They were 25 minutes away. A closer convenience mart was only 10 minutes away but pricey and they close early.The hosts provide a lot of niceties; some seasonings/spices/sugar/coffee filters/plenty of dishware and glassware. What a great property.

The Lake Rosa Lodge provided a wonderful base for our family gathering of 10 adults and four children. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Access to kayaks and paddle boards at the house provided hours of fun for our family. The host was very responsive to our questions. The setting of the of the house was very private and peaceful. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations. The nearby town of Cable, 5 minutes away provided access a small grocery store, several restaurants, a coffee shop, kid oriented natural history museum and a nature centered playground.

Perfect northwoods college reunion

JD’s cabin was a great spot for our Wisco alumni reunion weekend. The home lends itself to large groups, the kitchen is well stocked, and the lake was private and pristine to swim in. Comfortable beds, dialed in sound system, and a feeling of privacy and seclusion made it easy to enter and sink into a wonderful weekend. JD was helpful and responsive with questions and suggested activities. I’d recommend his place to other groups looking to have a great time.

50th Anniversary gathering.

We had a family reunion at the property and it was wonderful. Grandparents, kids and grandparents all had a great time. There were many locations to hang out and chat, play games, swim, have a fire and eat large communal meals. The lake was wonderful and the swimming paddling and bass fishing were all good. It's a short trip to Cable which was hosting an art fare. The coffee shops and pizza at Ideal Market were wonderful. Some of the crew hit the mountain bike trails and had a lot of fun. Overall a prime place to stay and play.

Luxury in the Northwoods!

We have rented northern WI and MN summer lake cabins as a gathering place for our family and friends, for well over 30 years. Staying within a reasonable budget, the dilemma usually is: Great cabin or great lake? This property doesn't force you to choose! The cabin: Extensive high-end renovations, "new" feel, 5,000+ sq. ft. real log construction, 6 bedrooms and 6 baths on 3 levels, plenty of privacy and elbow room to spread out but also with large, welcoming areas for the whole crew to gather! Beautiful, new hardwood floors, upscale furnishings, water that stays hot through many showers, air conditioning that keeps up effortlessly on the hottest days and lightening fast internet! On 2-1/2 wooded private acres that feel secluded but you're only minutes from the quaint and friendly town of Cable and close to Hayward. The lake: crystal clear (not tannic tea-colored), gradual hard-sand bottom entry for the little ones. Great wild-life watching (loons, otters, deer, and good fishing) but the lake is deep and spring-fed, not marshy, so it's great for swimming too. Lots of water toys: canoe, kayaks, paddleboards. It is also very quiet & serene, non-motorized and amazingly you will usually have the lake entirely to yourself! Your hosts: Incredibly kind, responsive and generous. A great find on any level!
