Stylish decorated typical Canarian cottage with private pool for 6 persons

"Casa Rural La Longuera de Tirajana" is a stylish, elegant, old Canarian cottage. It is located in the southeast of Gran Canaria and belongs to the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana. The house is surrounded by fruit trees and vegetable gardens and offers beautiful views of the landscape with its palm groves. The country house dates from 1865 and it has been completely renovated and new decorated. Its architecture is typically Canarian and it is built on two levels.
On the upper floor you find the master bedroom with a double bed, the second bedroom with two single beds and the bathroom. Due to the original structure of the house of more than 150 years, the bedrooms on the top floor are connected and it is necessary to go through one of them to access the bathroom.
Baby cot and high chair are at your disposal at no extra charge.
On the ground floor is the kitchen, the living and dining room, another smaller living room with a sofa bed for 2 persons.
The floor of the upper floor is made of wood and downstairs a stone floor was laid. Wifi access and international TV channels are available to our guests free of charge. Wood stove and hot-cold air conditioning is also available. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house also offers several seats outdoor, roofed and open, as well as a barbecue area.
The private pool (3 x 8 mts.) can be used throughout the year. It is not heated. There is a table tennis by the pool area.
This beautiful property is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the landscape of the interior of Gran Canaria in absolute calm.

Es war ein unvergesslicher Urlaub. Unseren Kindern haben die vorbeikommenden Anwohnertiere (Hunde und Katzen) sehr gefallen. Die Insel und auch die Unterkunft sind immer eine Reise wert.

Ruime woning met prachtig zicht

Fijne vakantiewoning. Mooi zwembad, best groot. Prachtig uitzicht. Heel rustig gelegen, maar dat betekent ook als je het eiland wil verkennen, je iedere keer heel veel bochtjes moet doen. De kamers waren zeer ruim. De bedden iets te zacht voor mijn rug.

tolles Haus mit fantastischer Bergkulisse

Dieses Ferienhaus ist wirklich wunderschön mit prima Pool bei fantastischer Bergkulisse. Einzig die Küche und der Grillbereich könnten mal eine Auffrischung gebrauchen. Das Haus kann ich nur empfehlen!

Amazing location

A truly beautiful location surrounded by mountains. It was a little scary driving up the road from the coast in the dark for the first time - need to be a fairly confident driver but you get used to it! As noted in the description the layout is a little quirky but worth it for the charm of the old building. The owner was very kind to us when we forgot to leave the keys and arranged to meet us in Las Palmas - we were most grateful. Thank you!

Gran Canaria

Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt the welcome wasn't as good as it could have been. We contacted Carolina at the airport as suggested but she didn't speak any English so the car rental guys helped us with directions. We later received a link from Carolina which did prove helpful plus some google translated Spanish. Having travelled there which was demanding we were quickly given keys,shown how rhe shower worked which we forgot and she left. We were too tired by then to take in her instruction. We then found there was no welcome pack to help us settle in, even a carton of uht milk would have been helpful. I don't want these comments to impact on Carolina but feel, based on many rental experiences that the beginning of our holiday could have been better managed. We otherwise thoroughly enjoyed the hideaway in the mountains and miss it now!

Peace and quiet in the hills

You might think this property can’t be as good as the photos, but it really is. A wonderful local architecture, each room with wonderful furniture, and a glorious outdoor space with clear views down the valley. If you want to spend your time at the coast, then the drive probably argues against this property. But our goal was to chill, stay local and just enjoy some peace and quiet. Great place. Man könnte meinen, dass dieses Haus nicht so gut sein kann wie auf den Fotos, aber es ist wirklich so. Eine wunderbare lokale Architektur, jedes Zimmer mit wunderbaren Möbeln, und ein herrlicher Außenbereich mit freiem Blick auf das Tal. Wenn Sie Ihre Zeit an der Küste verbringen wollen, dann spricht die Fahrt wahrscheinlich gegen dieses Anwesen. Aber unser Ziel war es, zu entspannen, bleiben vor Ort und genießen Sie einfach etwas Ruhe und Frieden. Toller Ort.

La casa es una preciosidad y la zona también, sentarse un rato ante esas vistas te quita todo el estrés. Nos encantó que tenía de todo lo necesario para esos días, hasta toallas de piscina, gel, champú... Además, la persona que nos recibió fue muy amable. Seguramente repetiremos.

Wunderschöner Urlaub trotz Corona!

Unser Urlaub im Casa war wunderschön. Von der Anfrage bis zur Abreise war alles unkompliziert und wir haben wir uns rund um wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist bis ins letzte Detail stimmig und wie beschrieben eingerichtet. Es hat eine klasse Atmosphäre. Der Außenbereich ist riesig und - wie auch das Haus- sehr gepflegt. Der Pool wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Isabel als Vermieterin ist sehr gut erreichbar und kümmert sich super. Vor Ort sind die (wenigen) Nachbarn wirklich nett. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin war klasse und sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank! Bezüglich Corona haben wir uns absolut sicher gefühlt, waren wir doch zu 95% unter uns. Auf den Ausflügen/Einkäufen haben wir und auch alle! Einheimischen uns regelkonform geschützt. Masken und Desinfektion waren obligatorisch. Wir sind dankbar, dass dieser Urlaub stattfinden konnte und für uns auch eine große Erholung war.

Entspannung pur

Herrliche und abgeschiedene Lage, erste Anreise möglichst noch bei Tageslicht, da die Hinweisschilder im Dunkeln kaum zu erkennen sind. Balkon ,Terasse und Pool zum Genießen . Dusche nicht für große Menschen gedacht. Haben uns als Paar sehr wohl gefühlt und ausgespannt, gerne wieder!

Landhaus la Longuera

Wir waren im August 2019 für 16 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft. Die Finca liegt ca. 45 Minuten Autofahrt vom Flughafen entfernt. Ein Mietwagen ist in jedem Fall erforderlich. Der Check-in verlief einwandfrei. Das Haus ist im kanarischen Landhausstil gehalten und verfügt über ein großes Grundstück. Die Finca ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist komplett und ausreichend. Im Wohnbereich befindet sich ein Fernseher mit Satellitenempang, so dass deutschsprachige Programme zur Verfügung stehen. Die Schlafräume verfügen über eine Klimaanlage. Die Bettmatratzen sind recht bequem. Der Blick von den Terrassen auf das Tal und die Berge lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Poolbereich verfügt über Sonnenschirme, Liegen und eine Aussendusche. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt. Im Ort Santa Lucia befinden sich zwei kleine Supermärkte und Restaurants. Für größere Einkäufe gibt es im Ort Vecindario mehrere große Supermarktketten. Alles in allem kann man das Objekt denjenigen empfehlen, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge ins Landesinnere sowie zu den südlichen Küsten. Wir waren zufrieden.

Beautiful house surrounded by lemon and orange trees

La Longuera surpassed our expectations. The house is well-equipped, very spacious and has an expansive terrace. We were very fortunate with the weather - it was sunny, warm and dry for the entire week of our stay in March. Three-quarters of us even used the pool - despite the water being ice-cold. The location is very close to various hiking trails, and the village of Santa Lucia is within a short upwards-walking distance. Our days started with the crow of a rooster (somewhere in the valley) and freshly-pressed orange juice. It was a wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning.
