This is such a special place. Lake is beautiful and close access to downtown for shopping and dining. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

A wonderful stay at the lake.

This space was incredibly organized and well maintained. The host was very friendly, welcoming and informative about the local area. It's a nice quiet area, close to downtown Boothbay. Would love to stay here again.

Beautiful Boothbay

This was a great location. The lake was very peaceful. The loft was nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. We would stay there again.

Property is so well kept, and off the beaten path, yet close enough to Boothbay Harbor to enjoy all the amazing areas! Karen was a wonderful helpful host. Property was ultra clean, and organized. thank you for an amazing stay!

The Loft

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Loft. Extremely nice accommodations and perfect setting on the lake. Would love to return next year. Hosts were most gracious with treats on arrival.

Great location to explore the coast

We spent a week at Karen’s property and it is a wonderful place, the loft was very clean and well furnished. Karen is very hospitable, she met us when we arrived and offered suggestions on where to visit and eat. The lake is absolutely beautiful with plenty of Loons to listen to and bald eagles to watch. I highly recommend the property.

Perfect location for lake fun!

Beautiful private dock and attached deck, gorgeous views from the loft. Perfectly equipped with everything you need including canoe, life vests and floaties. Clean, modern, great location and easy to find. Karen is a wonderful host and we so enjoyed our stay! We will be back!

This is a comfy one room very well-appointed, newly constructed, and clean, clean, clean efficiency apartment over a garage. It has a lovely deck with a view of the lake. The proprietor is friendly and responsive and living in a separate adjacent lakeside home. The lake is stunning and having a canoe to circumnavigate the lake is magical. There are loons calling on the lake. It is a quiet, beautiful spot with all the comforts of home at your fingertips. The cell phone reception was adequate but the TV reception is limited. For a small space, it may be somewhat overpriced with a high service cost but the other features make up for it. Enjoy!

Lovely getaway in Booth Bay

This studio apartment (above a garage) was an ideal getaway for us. Lovely, quiet area just steps from the lake and a 5-10 minute drive to the shopping g district. Kitchen is well equipped. Very nice deck to enjoy meals.

Peaceful and Serene

Loved this calm and peaceful lake property near one of Coastal Maine’s picturesque harbors. The best of both worlds - fresh water lake near the ocean. The Loft was perfect for two. Highly recommended!

Just Perfect!

What a great place. Nestled just outside of town on the water with your own private dock. This place has everything you need and nothing you don't. Very well maintained and clean as a whistle. We will definitely be back. You also could not find better owners, they are so friendly and helpful which just adds to appeal of this place!!

Born in England we fell in love with Maine with all it has to offer. The beautiful flowers and fauna, scenery and the Maine way of life, it really is a slice of heaven. The loft is a favorite with many who have stayed here. Enjoy the gardens, the view over the lake, your private dock, the large deck with the BBQ right outside your door and the quiet of nature.

The Loft is quiet, easy living, has all the amenities you need for a trip to Maine. 5 mins drive to town, restaurants, supermarket, movie theatre, boat trips, local market and much more.
If you love to swim, kayak, fish, walk, bird watch, relax, sun bathe, cook, reflect.........the loft has it all. Large enough for 2 it is very spacious with it's comfortable King size bed, Large roomy shower unit and large deck outside with enough room for breakfast to dinner dining, a perfect place to relax and enjoy.

Walk thru the garden to swim or sit on the dock. Enjoy the BBQ on the large deck, or sit round the fire pit and enjoy some smores and more......the birds and wildlife, the beautiful night sky.....it really is a slice of heaven.
