Enough room for the entire family or multiple families. This lakefront property is approximately 4,260 square feet with plenty of room throughout. Interior amenities include a hot tub, indoor bar, bumper pool table, arcade machine, pinball, chess table, multiple rooms with televisions, and free wireless internet access.

There are also many outdoor amenities, including lake front access, a boat house, an oversized lower and upper deck, outdoor kitchen (complete with a charcoal grill, gas fire table, natural gas grill, and natural gas griddle w/air fryer). You are welcome to use the kayak and paddle board, float mat, and life jackets at the property during your stay.

The Decatur area offers local restaurants (Including lakefront restaurants), Devon Lakeshore amphitheater, (devonamphitheater.com), Scovill zoo, an overlook Adventure Park completes with mini-golf, batting cages, rope course, and waterpark.

Eclipse base camp

The property was great. Plenty of room for our 4 kids plus spouses and 3 grands. The arcade game and hot tub were bonus! The outdoor kitchen looked amazing but we didn’t stay long enough to take advantage.

Great group stay

We had a great group stay, everything was just as pictured. We enjoyed the hot tub, the bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. Will return!

An Incredible Home in the Perfect Location

Ken and Wendy have made their property into the perfect Vrbo. The locale is great- the lake is gorgeous to gaze upon, Decatur is barely a two-hour drive from nearby St. Louis, and the setup of the house is AMAZING for big groups of friends/families. All the bedrooms are upstairs, which is perfect for those who want to sleep in, and all the living and recreation spaces are downstairs, so people can always keep the fun and games going. Additionally, something I cannot understate is how fun the hot tub was- especially since it was right next to the kitchen and dry bar. Amenity-wise- Ken and Wendy have stocked the home with absolutely everything you could possibly need. We found every bathroom item we could possibly need, as well as a stocked first-aid kit and TONS of towels. Wi-fi information is all over the place (which stops your pesky friends from constantly asking about it) and TVs are in every room, making sure that everyone (especially the kids) can stay entertained and relaxed. There's plenty of parking space, and the patio in the back is nothing if not picturesque. Finally- the communication and understanding shown by Ken and Wendy as hosts was nothing short of perfect. They were on top of things with punctuality and empathy. I have never said that a vacation rental was perfect, but I will be breaking that streak here. This home was truly the perfect location for the perfect weekend. I heartily recommend it for anyone looking, and I hope to stay here again.

We love spending time on the water, fishing, boating, skiing and tubing. We also love BBQ and relaxing outdoors. We love to spend time with our family and friends and encourage others to do the same. Which made the decision to extend this amazing opportunity to others and easy one to make!
