Bring your Big Group, 12 BR/8 BA, Private Pool, Walk to the Beach!

Welcome to the Red Marlin! Located on the corner of Beach Access 1A and 11th Street, this island gem is approximately a 400 yard walk (3-5 minutes) to the beach or a minute by beach cart. When you're not enjoying the close proximity to the beach, relax and enjoy a cold beverage while taking in the cool gulf breeze alongside your own heated pool. The pool area features a beautiful "beach-entry" style in-ground pool, BBQ grill, surfboard cabana table, and beautiful island décor to top off this coastal bend retreat.

With 12 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, the Red Marlin accommodates up to 32 guests and is ideal for family gatherings, weddings, reunions, fishing trips, and corporate retreats. The property is divided into two separate floors--each with six bedrooms (two with king beds, two with queen beds, and two bunk rooms) and four baths. Each has a large living/dining area where your group can gather and a full kitchen. The upper floor has a balcony overlooking Beach Access Road 1-A and a large covered deck overlooking the pool that is perfect for morning coffee or a cold drink at the end of the day. The lower floor has a large covered patio where you can relax after a swim in the pool.

Across the patio is another building housing the game rooms and laundry facilities. Downstairs you'll find ping-pong, foosball, and a game table to entertain the kids after a day at the beach. Upstairs is a game/poker room with a wet bar and a laundry room with two sets of machines. Wireless internet and smart televisions with a standard cable package are also provided.

The Red Marlin is in the Port A "golf cart zone" which means you can use a cart to get to the beach, shop or dine downtown, or just enjoy the many attractions on the island. The beach is a five-minute walk or about a minute by cart or car and there is shopping within a block of the property.

The Red Marlin is unmatched on the island. It's a place you'll want to return to and make lasting memories. We hope you visit us in iconic Port A soon!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, the pool heater stopped working the day before your arrival. We had technicians out to try to get it running, but the entire heater has to be replaced. We did provide an appropriate refund for the inconvenience and have a new heater being installed.

I celebrated my 25th birthday in Port Aransas with my large group of friends and family and it was the most amazing birthday I’ve ever had! There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their privacy. The weather was chilly so the home was perfect for us to stay in and have a wonderful time. Exactly what we needed for the weekend!

The house was perfect for what we needed. It is exactly what is pictured and had plenty of space for 14 teenagers to spread out and enjoy their time in the house. The heated pool was great for our end of Feb stay, the game room got lots of use, both living rooms were large enough for us to hangout and enjoy being a team, and it is a short walk over the hill to the beach!
