Take a ten minute drive to Fort DeSoto Beach and park; famous for its pristine white sand beaches. Take a stroll, jog or cycle across the brand new Pinellas Bayway Bridge, which will take you to all the attractions at the gorgeous beach.

Disneyworld is only 90 minutes away and day trips are possible. Busch Gardens is 40 minutes from the condo. The Outlet Mall at Ellenton is only 30 minutes door to door. Beautiful condo

The property was excellent and met all our needs. It was very clean and was equipped with any kitchen utensil needed. The surrounding setting was beautiful and the neighbors were very friendly. The location was ideal for sunset pictures.

A wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Club Bahia! Although our stay was only for a week, we could certainty see how a longer stay at this beautiful condo would be totally comfortable. An ideal spot to watch nature at it's best - Dolphins, wading birds (large & small), little stingrays, nurse sharks. It was easy to correspond with Kim & Jay throughout the whole booking as well as during our stay at Isla. Thank you, Kim & Jay for your hospitality 💐

A wonderful retreat

A beautiful inviting condo with a marvelous view of the bay. Well stocked and comfortable, this home is so tastefully decorated you will not want to leave. Dolphins and an assortment of tropical birds all pass by your balcony for an evenings entertainment. Binoculars are provided for a closer look. Highly recommended!!!

We had a fantastic vacation staying at this condo. We had literally everything we needed and more for beach adventures to evening games and movies. Everything was clean and organized. The balcony view is unparalleled. Literally dolphins every day. Close to the best beaches in Florida, St. Pete’s and Pass-a-grille. Just a great spot.

Beautiful condo - great family vacation!

What a wonderful condo, perfect "home away from home"! The unit was beautiful, very cozy, clean and had everything we needed. It was a nice added touch too that beach accessories, games, movies, etc were provided so we didn't need to tote additional items on our trip! My husband and our two young sons enjoyed everything the unit had to offer...beautiful views from the balcony, awesome pool/spa area, and so many things in the area to see and do. Thank you for opening your lovely home for others to enjoy. We look forward to vacationing here again!

having stayed at Kim &Jay's other condo this was our first visit to this one.We were not surprised to see that it was the same high standard of cleanliness and decor.The view was fantastic--even just sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by was relaxing.Whichever of their condos that you visit you will not be disappointed.

We spent 1 week at this condo. It was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and in a great location. The kitchen is fabulous. Loved being by the water and enjoyed seeing the boats and wildlife as they made their way up and down the waterway. A very tranquil setting. We could not have asked for a better place to stay while in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. The owners were such a joy to work with. My husband and I highly recommend this condo and hope to make it back to the area soon!

Can't wait to go back!

I must admit, this unit has been the best we've ever stayed at of any VRBO rental we've ever had. It has also been the most organized. There was a folder on the desk in the kitchen with all the information needed as well as documents in the living room on how to operate the electronics. The kitchen was unbelievable. The dolphins were literally right outside the door - 20 yards out in the channel.

Great Vacation

This was our first trip to Isla Del Sol and we loved it. We went to the beach or the pool (or both) everyday during our stay. The beach chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. were great to have and are very nice. We really enjoyed Fort Desoto North Beach and so did the kids. Sunsets at Pass-a-Grill was only a 10 minute drive. The building was very quiet so we felt like we had it to ourselves. We saw dolphin and manatee and were on the deck every morning. The owners were great and very responsive. I would highly recommend this condo!

Fantastic vacation at this Club Bahia condo

This was our fourth year staying at this condo in Isla del Sol. Isla del Sol is a great place to vacation in the St. Pete Beach area but staying at this condo most definitely added to our trip. This year, the brand new kitchen was certainly a highlight of the already beautiful condo. The ocean/beach decor that Kim and Jay has chosen also compliments the condo quite well. Views from the patio are spectacular. Owners Kim and Jay are very easy people to deal with and will respond to any concerns or questions you may have in a timely and efficient manner. Two great people that we finally got to meet in person on this trip. We had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this condo to anyone wishing to visit this area of Florida. Thanks Kim and Jay.

Great Escape

We spent the month of February at this beautiful Isla condo.Trying to find refuge from the ice and snow of Iowa,we sought an escape,and this was a perfect place.The condo was lovely with tropical decor and our view from the balcony made us feel like we were on a cruise.We could watch diving birds and dolphins outside our window.The amenities were great,and appeared that our owners thought of everything.Our expectations were surpassed.We looked forward to relaxing sunset views from the condo after seeing the sights or eating delicious seafood in the many good restaurants each day.Eating in was convenient too.Hope to return to this fabulous condo in the near future.Thanks,Kim and Jay!

The best condo on Isla....by far!

Having vacationed on St Pete Beach for the past 35 years i like to think i have a good knowledge of the local area and places to stay. It is without question this is by far the best condo I have EVER rented. From the quality kitchen with every conceivable extra you could imagine to the "home from home" comfortably furniture complete with full cable tv and a top end surround sound tv theatre system for those occasional nights in. The view of Boca Ciega Bay is amazing, especially when watching the sun set over St Pete Beach. The owners were on hand 24/7 to answer any queries......which were infrequent as there was several helpful ring binders giving all information from where to hire a boat to how to work the oven! The owners really have thought of everything. Can't speak highly enough of this condo, thank you Jay and Kim, I will return! Matt C

Perfect Christmas Getaway!

From the moment we walked in the door of Kim and Jay's condo we knew we were in for a special treat. The furnishings and décor were immaculate and beautiful - right down to the Christmas lights strung through the indoor plants and on the balcony railing. The condo is very well equipped and well organized. In fact, I remarked to my husband that there was a place for everything and everything was in its place. The deck overlooking the waterway is a haven from the bustle of St. Petersburg and the condo itself was so quiet at night that we slept very peacefully. The area around the condo is perfect for early morning walks and provides multiple bicycling opportunities on beautiful trails right from the doorstep. We have traveled the globe and stayed in countless condos, villas, and apartments in many countries and in some exceptional spots. It's with pleasure that we highly recommend this condo in Bahia Del Mar. Thank you Kim and Jay for a memorable, relaxing break from very busy lives.

Escape to Paradise

Thank you for a wonderful Florida vacation! We have been coming to St. Pete for over 25 years. Your home is lovely. Beautifully furnished, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Your directions for operating the entertainment system, and the wireless service were most appreciated. The note book you left contained a vast array of activities to pursue and restaurants to enjoy. Your telephone call to see that we had arrived and all was well was very kind. Every morning we had breakfast on the lanai and enjoyed watching dolphins swim by. One morning we caught a glimpse of a baby playing with its' mother. What a thrill. Prior to this year, we have always used a management company to secure our accomodatioins. Almost without fail we experienced some level of difficulty or frustration. None of that with the arrangements made with you. You were most accomodating. Perfect hosts. It is our sincere hope that we will have the opportunity to return to your little slice of paradise. We hated to come home. Thanks again for making our vacation so wonderful.

Absolutely Beautiful!

The minute we walked into the condo we just loved it! It is bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. The first thing we did was go out on the balcony to admire the view and we were treated to a performance by a 6 dolphins - what a show! The view is spectacular - there is something to see on the waterway all the time. The balcony is very private and furnished really well with chairs, tables and a lounger - I was perfectly happy to stay there, read a book and watch the activity on the waterway! Sunsets from the balcony are incredible. The condo is beautifully decorated and well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen items. A very nice touch was the baskets of misc. things under the sink - things you may have forgotten to bring with you but were there for you to use. We really loved the master bathroom that was recently renovated. It was definitely a "wow"! The pool and Club House were also beautiful - both very clean and well maintained. The grounds are lovely and also well maintained - there is always someone working on them. Kim and Jay have a beautiful, comfortable condo. I can't think of one thing about it that wasn't perfect. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning some time in the near future. Thanks again, Kim and Jay!

Absolutely Beautiful!

Thank you Kim and Jay for the privilege of having the chance to stay during the month of March, 2019 at your beautiful Club Bahia condo in St Pete's Beach. The condo itself is very well cared for and decorated meticulously with a great deal of tasteful thought, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, while being extremely well appointed and equipped with everything that you could possibly desire. The new kitchen is wonderfully arranged and you will find everything that you need there to create your meals. Kim and Jay are excellent hosts who deal with things in both a professional and courteous manner and are always willing to answer and assist with any questions you might have during the entire process. Isla Del Sol is a lovely community of like minded people and very well maintained and the setting of this condo sits along the bay and provides you with constant sources of entertainment with passing boats and wildlife for those times when relaxing for the day suits. When you want to explore the area or other cities in the vicinity they are all very easy to access as this is a premier location. Guests seem to follow a pay it forward principle and when something runs out it is replaced so there are never any concerns about having what you might need. Overall they provide a lovely home for others to enjoy while escaping from winters elsewhere and personally I feel a responsibility to care for their place as if it were my own. Overall it would be very hard to find anything nicer to come upon and I would highly recommend it! It would be a privilege to share more time here so I am looking forward to returning in the coming years as often as possible. If there was a score exceeding five out of five this would be deserving of that! Russ

Great Condo, Great Location, but Beware of the Owners!

We stayed at this condo from 8/1 - 8/11 this year and overall had a wonderful time. I am from St.Pete and come down several times a year to visit family and help my father with his business. When my family accompanies me we typically stay at the Don Cesar or Tradewinds but were contemplating buying a place at Isla Del Sol so we wanted to check it out first hand. Our trip started off great as the gentleman next to me on our flight works at the Isla golf club and provided me a complimentary round of golf which was a fun nice course. The condo is very nice in a fantastic location right on the water and next to the club. Everything is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We made good use of the pool and met several of the other owners who were all very friendly and we actually attended a small dinner party at one of their condo's one evening which was very fun. Security was very visible and friendly. They were also very helpful in arranging a small get together in the clubhouse one evening for several of my friends I've known since kindergarten. The club house is a great place for gatherings. All in all I recommend this condo but we were greeted with quite the surprise a couple of weeks after we departed. The owners are very detail oriented and provide specific instructions for use and closing the condo. I also have several properties I rent via VRBO and do the same so I appreciate the detail. One of the rules is not to leave the sliding door open which my wife disregarded on numerous occasions and after the fact we found out that my daughter broke a decorative pelican. For these violations I clearly expect to lose some security deposit. However the owners felt compelled to blatantly lie about several other items claiming we damaged their condo which were not true. Among those were "wedging" something in the front door to break it, placing dirty dishes in the cabinets, "using too many towels", stealing one king flat sheet (very odd?), "excessive sand in the condo", and were even upset that we went out of our way to return a beach towel we found in out car the last day. I could care less about the money but really wish the owners would simply raise the rent on the condo instead of accusing guests of doing things they didn't do for a few extra bucks. So my only advice is to plan to lose some of your deposit and its still a great deal. Good news is we put a contact on a condo labor day so I guess we are now neighbors. See you at the pool!

We really enjoyed our week at Kim and Jay's condo. The view was amazing! Location was great! Plenty of beach time, pool time, fishing and golfing! Oh and of coarse great selection for food all around! Will definitely want to come back! ❤

Best Condo in Isla Del Sol

My wife and I have been visiting Isla del Sol for several years and we always rent a condo through VRBO. This is by far the nicest so far. The condo is beautiful and the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. The waterfront and sunset views are captivating!!!

Amazing Vacation Property

This is the third time we have spent our vacation at Jay and Kim’s lovely condo on Isla Del Sol and each time we enjoy it more! The condo itself is beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony that overlooks the water. We spent many hours sitting there and watching all the birds, jumping fish and dolphins frolicking in the waves. There are even ceiling fans on the balcony for a nice breeze. The Bahia Vista pool is great for cooling off and the grounds are immaculately kept, making it perfect for a lovely early morning walk. It is a very serene and relaxing environment. Just over the bridge at St Pete Beach are lots of great seafood restaurants and activities for every age. Their condo is in a perfect location and Jay and Kim are very good hosts and most accommodating. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

My husband and I have been vacationing in the St. Pete Beach area for the past 30 years. We have fond memories of many family vacations. Our children have grown to love this place as much as we do. We have spent many hours walking along the beach. There is something so soothing and relaxing about being next to the water and enjoying the sound of the gentle waves. Our plan is to continue to vacation here when possible while offering our condo to you as a vacation rental. We have decorated our unit with pride, while always considering your comfort and enjoyment too. We have tried to provide every comfort of home with a well-equipped kitchen, good quality linens and the utmost standards for cleanliness and maintenance.

What makes this property unique

There are many things that we love about the St. Pete Beach area. We want to share just a few of them with you. First of all, the climate is terrific year round. The atmosphere is friendly and laid back. The beaches are some of the best anywhere. We love to walk and have found that the beaches here are wide and long and allow for us to walk or jog comfortably. There are many restaurants nearby which offer good food, reasonable prices and wonderful water views. We love Pass-a-Grille. It is a sleepy little historic part of St. Pete beach with a Key West feel without the crowds. It is just a couple of minutes from our condo. There is a wonderful promenade along the water. The sunsets are ceremoniously celebrated each evening with the ringing of the bell. This takes place on the beach at the Paradise Grill where we have enjoyed the live music on Friday nights. The list goes on. We’re sure you will enjoy your stay here and will want to return year after year. Welcome!
