The flat is perfectly equipped with a spacious and bright living/dining room with old buffet and farmhouse table, corner sofa, wood stove, satellite TV, WLAN and kitchen corner (gas cooker, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine, toaster), two bedrooms with double beds (180x200), a bathroom with shower and washing machine.
The large terrace with awning is equipped with table, chairs, electric barbecue, 2 wooden loungers and 2 fabric deckchairs.
It offers a sunny and sheltered spot outdoors.

Especially nature lovers and people who want to relax from the everyday hectic, will feel comfortable here. Hikers and mountain bikers as well!

Surroundings:
If you are looking for peace but also the proximity of many activities, you will feel well in Saint Jurs.
The small village with a height of 925 meters is the highest point of the Plateau de Valensole. Behind the village, an gravel road meanders through the pine forest into the mountains of the Mont Denier massif. Here it stays relaxed in midsummer.
Spring and fall are highly recommended and ideal for hiking or mountain bike tours. It is quieter and the markets and nature highlights such as the Gorges du Verdon can be visited and enjoyed without hassle. Even in winter, the place and the area has a special charm.
In Puimoisson (7 km) or Riez (14 km), many small cafes and boules courts invite you to linger.
Do not miss the market in Riez (Wednesdays & Saturdays)!
The stunning Gorges du Verdon, the Lac de Sainte Croix and the picturesque Lac d'Esparron, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Quinson and its prehistoric museum are some of the highlights of the region.
The area is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, paddle boating, canoeing, swimming in nearby lakes or rafting in the gorges, climbing, high wire garden and horseback riding.
All this can be done in this beautiful landscape.
In the village, in sight of the house, there is the Café & Restaurant "Bellevue", where bread and croissants can be ordered the next morning.
For shopping you have to go to Puimoisson or Riez, which both have weekly markets and supermarkets.
In Digne Manosque or some large supermarket chains are represented.

Wir waren eine Woche in dem Ferienhaus, in dem es an nichts fehlte. Super sauber, ruhige Lage in einem kleinen Dorf abseits vom städtischen Trubel. Es war an alles gedacht, von der Fliegenklatsche, über Wäscheständer und Klammern, über ausreichend Besteck (was es in Ferienwohnungen sonst nie gibt)- einfach super. Im Vorfeld würden uns alle Infos zugesandt, da blieb keine Frage offen und währenddessen konnten wir auch jederzeit Kontakt zur Vermieterin aufnehmen.Einfach großartig.Danke für die schöne Urlaubswoche in deinem Ferienhaus, Catherine!

Tolle Ferienwohnung in St. Jurs

Eine sehr schöne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in der Provence. Von hier aus erreicht man viele Lavendelfelder und zur Verdonschlucht ist es nicht weit. Es gab viele Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants, Märkte und Badestellen von der Vermieterin, die wir gerne angenommen haben. Der Urlaub war rundherum gelungen.

Wir haben uns im Haus von Catherine sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und uns fehlte es an nichts. Für Menschen die Ruhe suchen ist sowohl das Haus, der kleine Ort St. Jurs, als auch die nähere Umgebung geeignet. Ausflugsziele zum Lac de St. Croix und in die Verdon-Schlucht sind gut zu erreichen und waren beeindruckend. Wir haben sogar Geier beobachten können. Insgesamt eine schöne, aber zu kurze Woche, wir wollen wiederkommen. Danke an Catherine.

Kleinod mit Blick über die Haute-Provence

Selten haben wir eine so perfekt ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in solch einer traumhaften Umgebung vorgefunden. Catherine war - obwohl nicht vor Ort - immer erreichbar und sehr besorgt um unser Wohlergehen. Die Sonnenuntergänge auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick über die Haute-Provence sind ein Traum. Zu Besuchen und zu Erwandern gibt es mannigfaltig in der näheren Umgebung.

Ein Traum!

In dieser Unterkunft haben wir uns absolut wohlgefühlt. Alle Räume sind sehr geschmackvoll und stilsicher möbliert/dekoriert. Die große Sitz-/Liegefläche am Fenster ist besser als viele Sofas. Bei der Ausstattung der Küche haben wir nichts vermisst. Vor allem aber - wie schon vielfach bestätigt - haben wir uns über die tolle Terrasse gefreut, auf der wir die Abende (mit dem üblichen Mückenschutz) genossen haben. Beeindruckend ist auch, wenn um Mitternacht die Straßenbeleuchtung abgestellt wird: Wir sogar die Milchstraße erkennen konnten!

Très bon séjour dans ce joli appartement, décoré avec goût, bien équipé et très propre. Catherine et sa fille sont très accueillantes ! Traumhaft schön!

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll, es war einfach alles perfekt: Die liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung, in der es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Hervorragend ausgestattet mit allem, was man zum Leben, Kochen, Entspannen braucht. Diese wunderbare Terrasse, die zum Herumlümmeln einlädt und dabei immer ein schattiges Plätzchen bereithält oder auf der man den abendlichen Wein genießt und einen großartigen Blick auf das farbige Spektakel der untergehenden Sonne hat. Das entzückende kleine Dorf am Ende der Straße mit seinen freundlichen Menschen. Es ist tagsüber durchaus lebendig, aber nachts ist es so unglaublich still und friedlich, dass man gar nicht anders kann, als tief und fest zu schlafen. Morgens bekommt man auf Bestellung warmes Baguette und Croissants im nah gelegenen Restaurant. Auch für die anderen Einkäufe muss man nicht weit fahren, ein kleinerer Supermarkt befindet sich im nächsten Dorf und der Markt in Riez bietet alles, was man braucht und noch mehr. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft. Man kann direkt vor dem Haus loswandern, auf Berge steigen und Blicke weit über die Hochebene und darüber hinaus genießen. Oder man fährt ein paar Kilometer und ist schnell am See, in Moustiers oder an Startpunkten zu Wanderungen am oder über dem Verdon, den Adlern ganz nah. Beeindruckend! Unser Urlaub war ganz wundervoll und wir können Haus und Gegend uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist einfach traumhaft schön hier und wir wären gerne noch viel länger geblieben!

Selbst ohne Betrachtung der vielen sehenswerten Dinge in der nahen Umgebung, ist die Wohnung in St. Jurs ein Urlaubsdomizil, in dem es an nichts fehlt - Terrasse, stilvolle Gestaltung, ausgestattete Küche sowie der Ort einschließlich Bouleplatz mit sympathischen Franzosen vor der Haustür. Ok, der nächste Laden und Restaurants sind im nächsten Dorf, zu dem man, an Lavendel-, Thymian- und Rosmarinfeldern vorbei, mit dem tollem Hintergrund der Berge, gelangt. Toller Urlaub und Provence pur

Alles von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute top! Wer Ruhe sucht, die Natur liebt ist hier gut aufgehoben. Tolle Dörfchen in der Umgebung, der Verdon ums Eck mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wandern direkt vom Ort, oder auch mit kurzer Anfahrt in toller Umgebung. Der Kontakt mit Catharine super! Urlaub wie man ihn sich wünscht!

Super Ferienwohnung in schönem, kleinen Bergdorf

Wir waren für ca. eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Küche und Bad sind super ausgestattet. Auf der großen Terrasse lässt es sich prima entspannen. Saint Jurs ist ein wirklich sehr idyllisches, ruhiges Fleckchen Erde und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wandertouren rund um die Verdonschlucht. Vielen Dank für die tolle Wohnung. Authentisch und einfach wunderschön

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in dieser gemütlichen Wohnung in Saint Jurs, in der nichts aber auch garnichts fehlte. Catherine hat an alles gedacht und bereitet ihr Haus wie für „Freunde“. Topsauber und einfach liebevoll und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Wir danken herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft und wünschen Catherine nur nette und dankbare Gäste. Ach übrigens….leider war die Lavendel-Ernte in diesem Sommer recht früh, wir können uns also nur erträumen welch großartige Lavendel-Teppiche sich hier erstrecken. Es muss unglaublich schön sein!!!
