Amateras is a luxury 5,000 square-foot estate-villa in the British Virgin Islands. Perched on 1.5 acres of hilltop and set among the spectacular boulders found only in Virgin Gorda, it offers dramatic 360-degree views of both sunrise and sunset over the Atlantic Ocean and Sir Francis Drake Channel. Amateras provides its guests one of the most spectacular vacation settings on the island of Virgin Gorda. With three independently appointed pavilions, Amateras’ accommodations are ideal for two families and their children, or four couples. The villa includes two two-bedroom cabanas with air-conditioning, the main house, a covered gazebo, a pool and a multitude of decks each with magnificent views.

The main house at Amateras was designed to fully capture the dramatic views in every direction and create the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living. The living space encompasses a number of seating areas with French doors leading to a multitude of decks with a professional kitchen at the center. The state of the art chefs kitchen offers stunning views of the Atlantic through the living room, and of Drake’s Channel through the formal dining space and is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a full complement of dinner and glassware. There is dining in the main house as well as on the substantial covered terrace. The main house also includes a loft with its own terrace for yet another tranquil spot for relaxing.

Amateras offers two separate two bedroom cabanas, each with air-conditioning, a kitchenette, French doors leading to private decks and two full, separate bathrooms. One bedroom includes a king-sized bed, and the second accommodates either two twin beds or an additional king bed. Each cabana has a private entrance offering solitude from the main house, pool, and the other cabana making Amateras an ideal location for four couples or two families.
