Our apartment can accommodate up to 6 or 8 guests (6 adults or 4 kids + 4 adults) on 7 beds, has a cozy gas fireplace, a heated outdoor pool + 2 hot tubs, boasts 30 foot tall light-filled cathedral ceilings, a furnished private deck with mountain and clock-tower views, a sleek modern kitchen (including stainless appliances and a convenient breakfast bar) and stylish furniture throughout. Glacier Lodge is a striking Whistler boutique property with fantastic ski-in/ski-out convenience (located just steps from the Wizard Express quad chair) and is next door to the Fairmont Hotel's Chateau Whistler Resort and the Embarc/Club Intrawest Resort in Whistler's Upper Village. As our family grew and the kids got on skis, we found Whistler to be an even better place to spend our winter vacations. Then we tried Whistler during a summer trip, and we couldn't get enough of biking the fun trails, hiking down the beautiful mountains, rope-swinging into Lost Lake, trout fishing, zip lining, and strolling the Sunday farmers market. During our many trips to Whistler we stayed at numerous properties in various parts of town, but always came back to Glacier Lodge. Why? We loved completely forgetting about our car once we checked in. Situated at the base of Blackcomb in Whistler's Upper Village, Glacier Lodge is within short walking distance to EVERYTHING: SKI IN / SKI OUT to the Blackcomb Wizard chairlift and Whistler Kids (lessons/daycare); if you are a cross country skier we are a block away from the Lost Lake trail; pubs, restaurants, ski/bike rentals, boutiques, coffee shops, grocery and liquor stores at your doorstep; 3-5 minute walk down the path and over the river to the center of the Lower Village's night life - but return to the peace and quiet of the Upper Village; for summer activities we are walking distance to hiking trails, golf courses and local lakes. Location, location, location -- we think our vacation home is the BEST LOCATION on the mountain, and knew it was where we wanted to be.

We had a great stay at this unit. We have stayed in other units at this location and this was by far the best. Molly responded quickly to any questions or change requests we had. We were able to arrange a latter checkout as no one was coming in directly after us that day.

We so appreciated it. It was great to have the BBQ to use and enjoyed having our unit be a bit of a hub for others with not as much room. Pizza Delivery from Avalanche to our unit went without a hitch.

Delightful condo in Convenient Location

As a long time visitor to Whistler, I hadn't actually been back up there since well before the Olympics. The opportunity presented itself to come stay in this condo and we had a wonderful fall weekend in Whistler. The condo was clean and well appointed. The staff at the Glacier Lodge were extremely pleasant nice to interact with. The location of the condo would be great if you were skiing... just a short way from the bottom of the Blackcomb ski lift. As it was, we had our bikes for some fall riding, and found the location an easy distance to designated bike trails and this a great way to see the area when not on skis. The owners of this condo are very responsive to issues and nice to work with. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place for anyone.

Fantastic Stay !

I stayed here with my wife and 5 yr old son during our recent ski vacation. The condo is fanatastic with all the required amenities it's beutifully furnished and in an ideal location close to the wizard lifts and mountain action. Only a 5 min walk to the Whistler Village area and great shopping. We highly enjoyed apres ski at the Chateau Whistler only steps away and complimentary ski storgage . If you are an avid skier I suggest heading to the 7th heaven area on Blackcomb to get you fill of bowl and challenging terain.

I will defintely be staying here again on my next trip to Whistler as soon as I can ! I highly recommend staying here.
