Great amenities, responsive host
Amazing almost 2 week stay. The host was very responsive, friendly, and professional especially with several last minute changes that happened on my end. The place also has the best amenities and kitchen equipment that I’ve ever seen compared to several rental properties I’ve been at. I can easily see how this would be fit for a long term stay. It’s kept very clean and depending on your length of stay, there’s the option for complimentary changing of sheets/basic housekeeping type of things. The portable heating unit worked well for the random cold Houston winter days (better than the electric fireplace thing) provided you were in the same room as the heater, although I did trip the breaker once. No idea how well the wall a/c units worked since I stayed in the winter. Bed firmness level is soft. Parking is doable; there was always some sort of street parking available but lots of other cars do also park on the street and garbage cans take up a lot of spots. There’s a small back parking lot (contact host to see if available) but the driveway to it is quite narrow. It’s a family friendly neighborhood and I felt very safe as a solo traveller. It’s an older building but maintained well and has charm. The walls are a bit thin but the other renters when I stayed were generally quiet. Overall would stay again.
