Nice apartment, nice location

Really enjoyed our stay. A little bit of difficulty with English/German translation. When checked in they asked if we wanted breakfast the next day and we said yes. We went into breakfast area and had a nice European breakfast. We asked Petra (she also checked us in the day before) if we had to pay when we finished. She said “no, included” or at least that is what we thought she said. Third day (last day) we had breakfast and the employee told us we had to pay for all three days breakfast ($9 per person per day). So we paid. It seems the people staying at the inn get breakfast but not the VRBO apartment. It is all fine. We just did not understand. A little trouble with TV also but overall we had a very nice stay! Best part was being near Grafenwöhr military base so we got to spend Mother’s Day with our son who is deployed. Spent a day in Nuremberg also. Would recommend this to others!

Schöner Urlaub trotz schlechtem Wetter

Sehr schöne große Wohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Wir hatten fast den ganzen Urlaub Regenwetter, aber haben trotzdem in Nürnberg und Umgebung immer wieder was finden können als Tagesziel. Der weiße Löwe liegt sehr gut an einer Bundesstraße, von wo man überall hinkommt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auch wenn man abends essen geht

Ideal für Familien

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Gastwirt war sehr freundlich und hat hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Auch für die Kinder war es wunderschön, da Familienfreundlichkeit groß geschrieben wird. Sehr gerne wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich gehalten, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. In ihrem Gasthof nebenan kann an ausgesprochen gut Essen und auch ein kleines liebevolles Frühstücksbuffet wird angeboten.

Ruhige Ferienwohnung

Sehr angenehme Gastgeber die die direkt daneben liegende Gastwirtschaft betreiben. Frühtstück kann dort preiswert dazu gebucht werden und ist gut, Rührei oder Spiegelei können separat geordert werden. Das Essen dort ist hervorragend, sehr zu empfehlen. Die Ferienwohnung selbst bietet genug Platz für vier Personen, schlicht aber ausreichend mit IKEA Möbeln eingerichtet. Alles gut!

Christmas journey to Nuremberg

The apartment at The White Lion was lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing missing was a microwave (unless that was one of the settings on the oven that we missed. The location is in a quiet village near Nuremberg with easy access to the rail system. Shopping is close by with a bakery and meat market about a minute's walk away and a couple of supermarkets about a 5 minute drive.

Quiet, clean, spotty Wi-fi

The owners were great to work with and very friendly. The apartment was very clean. The beds were a bit hard for my taste, but otherwise very comfortable. The wi-if worked in the living space, but not as well in the bedrooms. Nice, quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the bakery for morning pastry & coffee. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!
