Fantastic mountain view from large balcony

The big wow factor was the large balcony with a spectacular view of the Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen valley. The apartment had everything we needed and is fairly close to shops and restaurants.

Had an excellent holiday in this lovely, clean, comfortable apartment. A short walk from the main station, the last part of the walk is steep uphill. In a very quiet location, with stunning views from the balcony. So relaxing to view the mountains from the comfort of the sofa. Would happily book again for another stay.

A lovely walking holiday in Wengen

We had fabulous views of the mountains from our first floor balcony where we were able to entertain our friends to drinks in the evening. The internet service was very good enabling me to log on for a board meeting in London. The kitchen was ok if a little tight if all four of us wished to breakfast at the same time. The lift was a nice bonus.

Unbeatable view, retro feel

This place is nicer than the pictures make it look. The view is outstanding, the balcony is accessible from 3 rooms, the bedding is very comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen are deliciously retro. Other furnishings nice too, clean and in good shape. I loved the decorations (quilts!), but this will be a matter of personal taste. The sofa is comfy if unattractive. To stay here feels like being in the home of a fastidious and tasteful individual.

Gorgeous View

The apartment was very spacious and looked exactly as the photographs. It included a stove, oven and small refrigerator. The balcony was very large and the view of the Jungfrau was spectacular! We stayed in the middle of June and were able to leave our windows open during the day and night, and there was always a nice, comfortable breeze. The entire building was immaculately clean and included an elevator. There is a steep hill to the building. The Interhome office was so friendly and helpful.

Very good stay

We spent great 10 days in this apartment. It is large enough for a family with several children and has everything needed. It is very warm in winter and has breathtaking views year around. Would definitely stay here again.

Die Lage der Wohnung kann mit gut bewertet werden, wenn man das/ ein Ski-Depot an der Seilbahn nutzt. Der Ausblick ist schön. Die Wohnung selber ist kleiner als es die Bilder vermitteln wollen, vor allem ist sie völlig "übermöbliert", die Küche ist zur Selbstverpflegung nur bedingt geeignet, zu klein, es fehlt an Stauraum für Lebensmittel, die Stühle passen nicht zum Tisch. Die Müllentsorgung ist mühsam, weit außerhalb/ entfernt. Die Anreise nach/ in Wengen muss mit beschwerlich bewertet werden!

Great views, comfortable property, good location

Close to village centre, transport and xxx. Steep final climb up path to property. Homely feel, good sound and heat insulation, comfy beds and lounge furniture, long balcony with space for drying clothes (on supplied clothes rack) and lovely views from lounge end. Microwave was available for hire at extra cost. Limited cupboard space for food. Good support from Interhome team. Overall ideal for a 2 week stay and hope to return

European Vacation

You cant drive up to Wengen and we didn't make the check in time but these two inconveniences on our trip were easily overcome by email and a train that ran every 30 minutes from Lauterbrunnen. Once we were there WOW, it was amazing. We had no issues with the apartment and the scenery overlooking the valley is breathtaking. We will be back it was AWESOME in every sense of what we were looking for. Thanks Interhome.

Spacious with amazing view

Very clean and spacious, the owner obviously took pride in the place as well kept and nice furniture. The walk up was a hike but most people who go to Wengen are ready for that.
