Cozy Lake House with Amazing Views Close to Hooks Marina

2bedroom 1bath lake house located by Hooks Marina on beautiful Caney Lake. The home is on a private lot less than 10 steps from the water. Expansive boat dock with fish cleaning station and swimming access. Located within minutes of Jimmy Davis State Park. Enjoy views of the lake from every room within the home. Beautiful front wrap around porch and boat dock with ample seating. Fish from the dock or your chair all day and night. Also, on those weekend nights listen to the bands at the marina from the front porch.

If additional space is needed, please inquire about the self-contained (living/dining), 1 extra-large bedroom (1 queen and 1 twin)1 bath boathouse also on the property for an extra cost.

WIFI access available to the main house.

We will accommodate those with service animals, however, please message us before booking for parameters and approval.

Great stay

This place has a beautiful view of the lake. Nice little cabin combined with a boathouse and pier for fishing or just enjoying the view of the lake.

Nice house! Great location!

We were at the lake for a two day fishing tournament. This place was perfect! Very close and convenient to the boat ramp and marina. It had everything we needed for our stay. Owner communication was fantastic!

Great place to stay

Nice setup in front of the lake. Nice view and plenty of shade. Lake House has a nice patio on the water great for fishing.

Perferct place to get away and fish!

Wonerful accomadations. Perfect set up for fishing and relaxing. Fish cleaning station, boat dock, porch swing! House was set up with everything you need, like home. We had a great time and plan on coming back and recommending to friends and family. Carly was a perfect host.

Wonderful getaway

Very clean and well stocked with everyday essentials. Perfect cozy cabin with dock. Caught plenty of fish and even some sun rays. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location

We had a wonderful time the owner was very tentative and the house was great. The area out back was great for the kids to have a picnic under the trees and swim and if there wasn’t a burn ban it would have been a great to have a fire at night. We will definitely rent again thank you so much we have a wonderful time

Great Place to Vacation

This place has everything you need for a great vacation. Very convenient to Marina, Restaurant and Boat Launch. Boathouse and Pier was Great. I even caught 6 pound 7 oz bass off of the pier. Highly recommended this place to everyone. Host is very nice and accommodating. Planning another trip soon.

Hidden Gem

Wonderful cozy home in perfect location with great views and easy access to the lake. I especially enjoyed being across from Hooks Marina, inside the house it was quiet, but on the porch you could hear singing and karoke. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, netflix at night!

We had a great time at this cabin. It was very nice and clean. Everything was accurately described. Carley was a wonderful host very pleasant to communicate with.

Awesome getaway

We enjoyed our home away from home the beds were awesome I slept well and I never sleep good but Fri night sleep so good and we love the cozy home it had pretty much everything we needed we even left dozen eggs and also milk for the next guest we really enjoyed ourselves 😀

A Perfect Spot on Caney

What a great weekend our friends and family had. The easy access to the marinas' boat ramp, the set up of the house and boathouse, to the space to sit and grill outside earned this place a big thumbs up. Even caught a 3.5 lbs bass off the seawall.

Great Place and Host

Absolutely a fantastic place to stay for a quick getaway to fish and relax ! The host were great and extremely welcoming and very detailed! It was one of the easiest places to check in! Great boat house! I was able to drop my boat off at the marina and keep it by the house! My son fished off the dock and had a blast !

Great Stay!

We will definitely be back. Great location. Beautiful dock. Water was shallow enough for kids to swim right next to dock. We also had 2 boats that we were able to tie up with plenty of room. We also rented to boat house (inside) that was a plus bc we had 2 families and worked out great. Full size kitchen, bedroom and bath. This was a great set up! Can' t wait for next time!

Relaxing family weekend at the lake

Great location! We were able to enjoy the lake breeze sitting on the porch while listening to the music playing at the local marina. There is shade in the yard as well offering an escape from the heat and a perfect amount of space for our family of 4 to function in between adventures on the lake. House has all the essentials for cooking meals and the beds are comfortable. Carley is responsive and our interactions pleasant. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great weekend!

Stay was wonderful beds very comfortable, music and food from Hooks was great. A/C was good. We found it a little crowed hard to move around with all the furniture some could be removed. Blinds are curtains would be good on French doors.

Caney Lake Treasure

This property was great!!! It was so hot outside during our stay and this property was perfect for this weather offering plenty of shade and a boat shed to get in out of the sun. The owners also had plenty of fans for us you use The A/C in the house got TOO COLD sometimes but that was our fault. The owners were a phone call away, but we never needed them because everything was laid out like they said it would be before arrival. We will definitely be planning another trip to this property in the near future.

Very nice & comfortable

On the upside - great location; loved the covered boat stall and dock; beds were comfortable; plenty of parking for boat trailer; A/C works! Plenty of towels & cookware. On the downside - the frig was full of food that had been left from previous visitors - like long ago visitors. We thru out everything that had stuff growing on it. The shower head was not adjustable so a bit uncomfortable. This was our second time going and we will definitely go back.

Although, we visit our camp several times a year and enjoy it immensely we would like to share it with others and hope that your stay is comfortable, fun and safe. Most of our neighbors are permanent residents of the lake and we would appreciate all of our wonderful visitors being mindful and considerate of this. We are always just a phone call, text or email away during your stay. Thank you for joining us and we encourage any and all feedback.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

2 bedroom (queen beds in each) with air mattress available; full bath, open kitchen, living and dining area, cedar house with French doors throughout. The house is situated on a private lot with 360 degree non-obstructive views of the lake.

Listen to fish weigh-ins, music and all the lake happenings at Hooks Marina from the front porch or the large fishing deck. The public boating landing is within view. You are minutes from Jimmie Davis State Park where there is a large public beach, splash pad for the kids and hiking & biking trails.

A few miles down the road, is the town Chatham which has a Dollar Store, convenience/grocery store, a restaurant and a bank. For more conveniences, Jonesboro or Winnfield (approx. 30 min away) has a Walmart, grocery store, banks, hardware store and an abundance of fast food & dine-in restaurants.
