Low Tide Cabin @ Pemaquid Beach

Less than 400 yards from Pemaquid Beach State Park!

Low Tide is a 1 bedroom seasonal wooded cabin with king size bed, small full bath, kitchen & living area, outdoor picnic table, lounge chairs & grill. Cabin is nestled in a wooded area a short walk from the parking area (approx. 75 yards) where you will have 1 designated parking spot. Please keep distance in mind if you have any mobility issues. We also provide a fire pit and hammocks to share with the other 2 cabins on the property.

Kitchen includes Stove, Microwave, Coffee maker, Teapot, Dishes, Pots and Pans, Utensils, Flatware, Refrigerator & Freezer. We provide linens & towels at no extra charge. As this is an uninsulated seasonal cabin there is no central heating or air conditioning. We provide fans for the warm weather and portable heaters & blankets for cooler weather.

We’re also pleased to offer a Level 2 EV charger on the property. It’s available on a first-come, first-served basis and shared among guests at the property. A usage fee applies for short sessions (0-5 hrs) and long sessions (5+ hrs or overnight). Just let us know if you plan to charge during your stay and we’ll be happy to provide details.

There are many attractions in the area: Pemaquid Beach (0.2 miles); Kayak Rental (0.4 miles); Mimis on the Beach Restaurant (0.2 miles) Contented Sole Restaurant (0.4 miles); Fort William Henry & Colonial Pemaquid (0.3 miles); Harbor Ice Cream (1 mile); Grocery Store (1 mile); Bank (1 mile); Ferry - Puffin/Seal & Mohegan Island (1.5 miles); Pemaquid Lighthouse (3.5 miles); Rachel Carson Salt Pond Preserve (2.2 miles); La Verna Preserve (4 miles). It is also a great launching pad for day visits to Monhegan, Camden and Boothbay.
House Rules:
• Please treat the cottage with care and respect.
• Maximum of 2 guests.
• No pets.
• Quiet hours: 9:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
• No parties or events.
• No commercial photography.
• No smoking.
*We can accommodate early check ins when possible upon request for an additional fee of $50. Please reach out on the day of your arrival.
Before You Leave:
• Clean BBQs with a wire brush while still hot. Leaving dirty BBQs will result in an extra fee.
• Wash and return dishes to their original places. Leaving dirty dishes will result in an extra fee.
• Gather used towels.
• Dispose of trash.
• Double-check belongings; we cannot ship left-behind items.
• Turn off appliances and lights.
• Adjust the thermostat to 55º F in cooler months or turn off AC in warmer ones.
• Keep all bedroom doors open.
• Lock up.

The cabin was nestled far enough back from the road with great surrounding trees that it felt very private and quiet. We loved the cabin, it was clean and cute and had everything we needed! Perfect town for a quiet getaway, beach, history, dining, it was perfect!

We absolutely love this cottage and location! This is the second time we have stayed at one of the cottages and we were even happier this time around. The Low Tide cottage has such a great layout with a nice sitting area off the kitchen and a kitchen table perfect for playing games. The king bed is so comfortable, with perfect little bedside tables and extra charging cords at each. There was a 5-cup coffee pot with a reusable filter and it was such nice touch to have a bag of coffee to start us off — thank you! We brought some bottled water, but there was also a Brita pitcher in the fridge. Pemaquid Beach is a very short walk and such a nice way to start each morning. The Contented Sole restaurant has a new location, just a short drive away now, and so good! Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, the SeaGull Shop for breakfast / lunch, B-Rad’s Sweet Treats & Pemaquid Craft Co-op were some of our other favorites in the area!

Delightful cottage, lovely hosts

This little cottage has everything you might need, including a whopping dose of charm! It’s secluded and quiet, but also just a stone’s throw from Pemaquid Beach. (It’s maybe a 2-minute walk.) The hosts are responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Quiet Getaway

We enjoyed a quiet retreat at the cottage which was cozy, comfortable and clean. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything for a great stay. We spent a couple of days exploring the area: the beach, fort and lighthouse. The Contented Sole was amazing for dinner!

Beautiful Cottage — Great Location

My husband and I loved our stay at Low Tide cottage! The living space and bedroom are beautifully set up and very clean. The kitchen/living area is comfortable and has everything you might need. We enjoyed cooking and reading in the evenings. The cottage is just a block from Pemaquid Beach and around the corner from The Contented Sole —a wonderful restaurant on the water. And great light and comfy bed in the bedroom.

Beautiful cabin!

Peaceful getaway

Cottage is tucked in away from a quite road. Even though it is promoted as a no frills accommodation, it came with everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful 5 day getaway. It was within easy walking distance of a waterfront park and local historical sights. Quality restaurants, Pemaquid Beach and Pemaquid Lighthouse are all close by.

Nice little get away

We really enjoyed our Maine Getaway! Low Tide cottage was just as pictured. Clean, beachy and quaint. The Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was clean, king size bed was comfy! Hosts were attentive without being intrusive. You are close to all the attractions of Pemaquid Point, and literally across from the beach. We look forward to staying at the cottages again next year!

Quiet and comfy

A perfect little cottage, small but with a very big bed, all very comfy. A quiet area, but with some good restaurants not too far away. We had a great night there, and would happily stay there again.

Cute, Comfortable & Complete

Low Tide had everything we could ask for, including a very comfortable bed and two reading light wall sconces which we truly appreciated! Great water pressure and temperature control on shower. Very clean. Picnic table and chairs just outside front door. Close to beach, a restored fort, a great restaurant and Maine Kayaks for those who wish to do some sea kayaking. Perfect for our needs.
