This fully-furnished log home is within minutes of exciting Vail Village for world-class skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, fishing, tennis and shopping adventures. Beaver Creek Ski Resort is about 10 minutes away. Incredible views of national forest--mountains and woods--from many rooms add to a delightful vacation experience.

Home features beautiful great room with soaring eighteen foot ceilings and stunning views of Gore Creek. The stone fireplace in the living room provides a warm and cozy atmosphere.

This outstanding multi-level 3-bedroom, 2 bath, 1700 sqf home sleeps 8. The master bedroom suite, with private bath, on the upper level has a king-bed and TV. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with a trundle that opens to 2 twin beds and a private bath. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, both on the main level with TVs in each room. The living room and dining room combination features a 42in. Samsung Smart TV with a Samsung Sound Bar.

A wonderful granite and stainless kitchen is well-equipped for eating-in experiences. Dishes, silverware, pots and pans are available for your use. An outdoor grill is conveniently accessible on the deck overlooking the Gore Creek.

Just minutes to the nearby Cascade Resort/Spa and ski lift. The popular West Vail shopping center is located directly across highway from this home.

Our home is steps from the Vail shuttle bus route. The bus provides free transportation to Vail Village. Parking is available across from our home.

Cozy log home

Very comfortable log home. Extremely cozy and the kids really enjoyed the log experience. The house was located minutes from vail and the bus worked great. It was the first stop and we had a seat everyday. The house is well appointed and the kitchen was better equipped than my home.

Comfortable and very well-equipped

The owner was very pleasant to deal with and the cabin was among the most well outfitted rental homes we've ever encountered. Really comfortable beds, lots of towels, clean and in great condition. The only drawback was due to my own unfamiliarity with the Vail. I had hoped to be a bit more removed from the "hustle and bustle", but everything in Vail is in close proximity to the Interstate.

Once you get used to the roundabouts, everything is pretty easy to get to. There is a Safeway just down and across I-70 and an enormous Wal-Mart and Home Depot just a couple exits west in Avon. Plan on parking and walking in Vail proper or taking advantage of the public transit.

We spent a lot of our time back to the east of Vail. Don't miss the drive to the top of Mt. Evans (highest auto road in North America) and the narrow-gauge railroad in Georgetown. The town of Idaho Springs is charming looking. Folks who get the shopping bug can probably find an "outlet" in Silverthorne/Dillon. There is a large outlet shopping complex on both sides of I-70 and a lot of big-name shops. Most of all, enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery...any time of the year.
