Located about two hours from Clermont-Ferrand and Lyon, in the heart of a peaceful hamlet in the commune of St Jeures, Cédric and Lauren welcome you to their gîte: Le Refuge de Mazard.

Converted into a renovated family farmhouse, this gîte promises a timeless escape in an environment of absolute calm and tranquility.
The house is surrounded by a large property bordered by forests, which you can enjoy in every season. In spring, you can relax, soothed by birdsong; in summer, you'll enjoy mild and pleasant temperatures; and in winter, you can revel in the joys of playing in the snow!
Designed to accommodate up to six people, the house has three comfortable bedrooms, perfect for a stay with family or friends in a warm and soothing atmosphere. Nearby, numerous activities await you: hiking and mountain biking trails starting from the gîte, exploring the plateau landscapes, walks in the forest, mushroom picking in season… Nature lovers will also appreciate the unspoiled sites in the surrounding area, perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing. Just a few kilometers away, you can also enjoy local markets, the heritage of the Haut-Lignon region, and a variety of activities: a steam-powered tourist train, a Himalayan footbridge, climbing sites, water sports centers…

For your comfort, the rates include cleaning, bed linen and towels, and utilities (upon your departure, however, please ensure the gîte is left reasonably clean; the included electricity consumption is 16 kWh per day).

The gîte is equipped with complete baby equipment: dishes, crib, bathtub, high chair, baby bouncer, stroller, etc. The house is situated on a large, unfenced property (5000 m²) where you can park several vehicles.

The ground floor of the house comprises a living room with an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge. A WC completes this level.

On the first floor, you will find three bedrooms: the first has a queen-size bed (160 cm), and the other two bedrooms each have two single beds (90 cm). A bathroom completes this level.

You will have a shed where you can store your sports equipment (bicycles, skis, etc.).
