Great views. Everything you could ever need! A perfect vacation home!
It was wonderful having you all in our home. Come on back!!
What a great time!!!!
We had an amazing time - didn't hurt that the weather was incredible. We enjoyed the kitchen which was top notch for all of our gourmet cooks. The history and beauty of the house was so great. We loved having a bathroom for every bedroom too!
The island is very fun. We hiked and kayaked and ate delicious lobster right off the boat!
Loved This House!!!!!!!
My family and I and friends had a spectacular time at this house. The interiors are so well done, the grounds charming, and the views breathtaking. We had memorable meals in the exceptionally well-appointed kitchen, and we slept like babies in beds and bedrooms that left nothing to our wanting. Inside and outside on the spacious decks, we enjoyed early mornings and stunning sunsets. Our stay could not have been better.
Thank you Brett Johnson and family!
We hope to return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You. It was great pleasure welcoming you to our home. We would love to have you again.
Relaxation at its best
We had the most relaxing week at the Captain's House on Bailey's Island. There was ample room for our two teenagers, and all of us (including the dog) enjoyed the scenery and the panoramic views. We took beautiful hikes along the water including Cliff Trail, Devil's trails and the Giant's stairs. We enjoyed kayaking. The house is amazing with a fantastic kitchen including all amenities. The owners were great. We grilled most nights, witnessed beautiful sunsets and even one eclipse! Would love to return.
Beautifully sited, extraordinarily well equipped
We were a family of 11, ranging in age from 3 months to 70+ years. Plus 2 dogs! The house offered plenty of sleeping space for everyone, as well as privacy; at the same time, the spacious common areas (dining room, sitting room, basement game-and-TV room) meant that at no time did we feel we were on top of each other. The house is very thoughtfully, tastefully decorated, which only enhanced the pleasure of staying there; it has obviously been furnished and decorated lovingly and with the renter's comfort and enjoyment in mind. I truly felt I was staying in someone's home. To say that the kitchen was well equipped would be an understatement: There is every conceivable device, implement and appliance for cooking and dining. And all were in excellent working order. The house is within walking distance of just about everything worth seeing and doing on Bailey Island, including 2 excellent restaurants.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for staying with us. We hope we will be able to welcome you back.
We very much enjoyed our stay on Bailey Island. Slept with open windows and sea breezes which is very different than living in Florida. Ate as much lobster as we could! House had all the amenities you could ask for. Highly recommend!
Linda, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and took in all that fresh air.
