Enjoyed our stay, although the unit needs major upgrades and repairs. Deck around the pool is very dangerous especially if you have children. Deck boards warped and sticking up. The unit is clean,decorated nice and very comfortable.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was cozy however it's in need of some repairs mostly from age of the home. We also had to re-wash the dishes before use due to them being sticky.

House was great for our short trip. Having are own pool was fantastic and the short walk to the beach was great. Loved St. George Island. We can’t wait to come back!

Upon arrival we noticed locks leading to pool and upper balconies unlocked. Pool was not on and dirty. All pool lounge chairs and tables were damaged. Pool cement deck is buckeling which is dangerous. Wooden patio around pool had planks raised with nails protruding. Fence around back yard is not pet friendly and allows dogs to escape. Upper balcony is not safe and had wooden railing loose and blowing in the wind with nails on the wooden post. During high winds these post could fly off and land on ground, pool or hit someone. It is an unsafe balcony for children since they could fall in between post. Upon arrival the upper room had empty pop cans laying around. I found a 3 roaches in the kitchen. These roaches were moving slow which told me the home is being treated and I hope with pet friendly pesticides. There were lights that did not work and one without a light bulb. The cleanliness of home was fair professionally cleaned. Dirty rugs, Dust on furniture and heavy dirt and dust on bathroom window screens. The coffee maker filter doesn't fit the coffee maker. We enjoyed St George Island but put up with the house that needs to be closed till work is done.

Great place to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved my stay there and will be booking again in the future. I really only have 3 minor issues, and I mean these are just minor issues. 1- would loved to have been able to access the crows nest on top of the house for watching the sunrise and sunsets but it is an older house and does need a few things fixed. 2- The privacy fence around the pool in the pictures is not there and it would be better with the full fence back up. 3- There were only a handful of channels for the TV, which wouldnt have been an issue other than the couple of days it rained and I hung around the house mostly. I will say the pool is awesome and I love how deep it is and you actually have room to move around unlike a lot of the other pools on the island.

My husband called the after hours number with no reply back. Killed one cockroach in the bathroom 3 one kitchen counter. My children found a huge cockroach upstairs in the loft area. The rat made its way upstairs and left poop on kitchen floor. We left early because we couldn’t sleep worrying about rats and cockroaches crawling on us. The deck around the pool needs updated. Boards missing pieces. My kids got tons of splinters from them.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in major need of repairs. The pool is concrete and coming out of the ground in places. It is a large pool for the area which is a positive. The wood deck around the pool and decks are warped and coming up. Dangerous for kids. Umbrellas did not work. The back yard has no shade so this was an issue. Trash around pool and under deck. Chairs on deck are old metal and uncomfortable. Landscaping is very lacking in the back yard. We had a ceiling leak first night we were there in the kitchen. Showers are small. Tv in bedroom is very small and never worked while we were there. We called and no one came out. Floor in kitchen has a lip that we tripped on occasionally. WiFi was not strong enough for electronics. If you’re going to the island with only intentions of not being in the house except to sleep, this house will do. The comfort level is not great. You get what you pay for.

Key Largo needs to be taken off the market for renovations

Reviewer Comments: This place has so much potential, but it’s been neglected far too long. The AC does not work - condensation from the ductwork is leaking thru the roof onto the kitchen counter and steps. The pool is not safe for children- surround is cracking and decking is warped and splintering. Lights in loft do not work. Pictures have not been updated - windows on one side of house are boarded up. When we checked in there were 3 cars blocking the parking area because workman were still there attempting to make repairs. Location is perfect, but this property is in dire need of repairs. Find somewhere else to stay. So disappointing.

THIS HOUSE NEEDS ALOT OF WORK. UNEVEN FLOOR GOING TO THE KITCHEN THE CABINET DOORS WILL NOT STAY CLOSED.EVERY THING OUTSIDE IS IN DISREPAIR. VERY DISSAPOINTED.THE COUCHES NEED TO BE REPLACED.

Fantastic Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd time renting this beach property :-) The views of the water are amazing and loved having a private pool. The only downside was that a new home is being built (left and beachfront) and the construction noise was loud; even in the beach with the crashing waves. Had to leave and find another public beach access by car. Some of the water views will be blocked but, thankfully, the beach access will save a lot of the wonderful views :-)Window units work great and we didn’t need to use the HVAC at all. Bring a “grill topper” since the grates are very rusty. We cannot wait to visit again... hopefully the construction on the new house will be complete :-)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was immaculately clean. The decorations were bright and cheerful. If you have children you may want to note that the decking around the pool is uneven and the lofted bedroom with twin beds is scary for kids to use as they would have to descend the steep stairs/ladder. The upper bedroom would probably be suited to ages 13+. These were not major issues for us - we all stayed on the main floor with two bedrooms. The location is lovely - just far enough away from the business area to feel peaceful but close enough to walk or bike. There is a short beach path and a wagon is provided - the beach is absolutely beautiful. Overall we were very happy with our stay and had everything we needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The lay out of the house was perfect but has some ceiling leaking issues. Had to place bowls around to catch the dripping water from raining. It appears to have been doing it for some time, the paint was peeling in a lot of places on the ceiling and was discolored.
