We are traveling across Arkansas, and Mammoth Spring was a good resting point. The cabin is just a little peace, less than a mile seemed from downtown shops. We ate dinner at Fred's Fish House, nice local spot.Checkin at the cabin was easy, host sent a VRBO message with door code and welcome greeting. We found the house as described multiple beds, nice bathroom and kitchen. We relaxed and went outside, sat on front porch and then the back patio.We watched a little tv before bed, multiple free channels Youtube, Plex, TUBI, etc.. WiFi was good, as reviewed plans for the following day.Beds were soft, comfortable and quite, peaceful sleep was enjoyed all evening. Shower was great, good hot water, strong flow, good wakeup.We fixed a little coffee, some toast with peanut butter and grape jelly. Sat in the breakfast nook area, so peaceful. Wrapup was easy, instruction were clear, took us minutes to complete, then locked the doors and VRBO messaged Karla Thank You..We would stay again, so peaceful, charming, and a great value.

Everything about the stay was fantastic! The cabin was beautiful, especially in the snow. Karla was spot on with all communications. I highly recommend this little "out of the way" spot, even if only for one night like me.

The property itself was exceptional — peaceful, well-maintained, and exactly what we were hoping for.The host went above and beyond to address a concern we had during our stay, which meant a lot. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and unwind after a long day wading the Spring River.

Nice Place

A very pleasant surprise after staying at 2 other VRBO properties in Mammoth Spring in years past, which we did not review at all. This house is in very good condition, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and in an extremely quiet area. We will definitely check availability of this house when our next visit comes around.

Great location close to Main Street, but still secluded. Everything from booking, check in and check out were super easy. The owner was very responsive to my questions and accommodating.

solar eclipse viewing

Our family chose this location because it was in the totality zone for the solar eclipse. It turned out to be a perfect site and we had a fantastic viewing experience. The neighborhood was also a lovely place to spend a spring weekend. We walked along the road, sat on the porch, and enjoyed an afternoon at nearby Mammoth Springs State Park.

Pretty log cabin

This is a very nicely appointed log cabin style house. Close to town in a lovely country setting. We were visiting my parents, whose house is less than a half mile so that worked out very well! Owners are attentive and helpful.

Just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway.

Restful place with a porch swing, shaded yard and cozy outdoor dining area. It was a nice combination of updated and rustic touches in the décor. Easy to reserve and entry code provided in timely manner. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and quiet

We decided to make Mammoth Springs our central point for exploring the area - Mammoth Springs, Grand Gulf and the Cherokee Village area. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities.

Wonderful Serene Place-Delightful Host

Easy to find. Easy Check-in. Host dropped by within the hour to make sure we had everything we needed! Communicated very quickly in answer to questions. Place is beautiful, country but just a little ways from town, spring, and activities. Inside very delightful. Lacked for nothing! Will definitely come again and recommend to friends!
