Second time at the Casa Pena Del Mar

Returning to this home felt like coming back to paradise. This was our second visit, and somehow, it was even more magical than the first. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted not just with stunning views and luxurious comfort, but with warm, familiar smiles that made us feel instantly at home. Seeing Alan and Rosie’s smiles again, absolutely made my day!!! They are the best!!! Alan is so on top of EVERYTHING!! He, along with Rosie and Noelle make their guests feel so comfortable and welcome. The house is absolutely breathtaking—spacious, immaculate, and designed for both relaxation and togetherness. Every room is beautifully appointed, the outdoor spaces are pure serenity, and the views of the ocean never get old. It’s clear the property is cared for with love and pride.But what truly sets this experience apart is the staff. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality are what make this place unforgettable. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared by Linda. Every interaction was warm and sincere. They didn’t just take care of us—they anticipated our needs, made us feel special, and created an atmosphere that was both relaxing and joyful.It’s rare to find a place that combines luxury with such heart, but this home—and the incredible team behind it—does exactly that. We’re so grateful for the memories made and can’t wait to return again. This is a very special place, and we recommend it with all our hearts.

Best in class!!

I dont really have words to describe how amazing our stay was at Casa Peña Del Mar was. First of all, the property it’s stunning. The pics are really good but they are not a good representation of how awesome it is. Every morning we watched whales from the breakfast table. Unbelievable. The entire staff is incredible. Alan is on top of every little detail. Chuy, the chef, cooks as if it’s her own family that she’s feeding. The housekeeping and maintenance staff are also unmatched. We held a very small (but elegant) wedding reception. This staff made all of the difference in the world. These are great people and they care about your experience. I definitely recommend staying at this piece of paradise. But, please reach out to me first to make sure I’m not planning on going back during your planned time. It might be a little weird if i just show up and hang out with your group!! Thank you Renza, Alan, Chuy, and the crew!

Serenity Now!

What a wonderful place to relax, rejuvenate, and feel pampered and inspired. We saw whales and dolphins every day from the comfort of our bedroom and patio. Chef Chuy prepared delicious and authentic meals every day and we dined outside or at the gorgeous dining room table with the doors open to hear the most soothing sounds of waves gently hitting the shore. Alan assisted with customized grocery shopping, reservations when we wanted to head to town, private car service, and even a really fun experience with jet skis (wave runners). We had in-house massages and could also see fireworks every evening without being disturbed by load noises. The house is gorgeous and in a perfect location. The added touches of housekeeping and having our laundry done every day was a luxury that reminded us we really could relax and enjoy the comforts of being with our family and close friends for a truly memorable experience. We were fortunate to add an extra day and so glad we did.

Perfect Family Getaway

What a wonderful trip! The villa was outstanding and exceeded all of our expectations! Alan the house manager made sure we had everything we needed and help us line up a fishing day. Chuy was an amazing chef and we were excited for every meal! Rosie kept the villa spotless. The location was perfect and having access to the beach club was an added perk! We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful property and service

The home and view are stunning, but the staff is the highlight. They were friendly, accommodating, and fun. Unfortunately, one of the guests in our group stepped on a sea urchin (near the clubhouse, so water shoes are highly recommended). The house chef, Chuy, volunteered to help remove the urchin fragments using warm water, vinegar, and several hours of tweezing. This was above and beyond any of our expectations and was greatly appreciated. Without Chuy, the trip might have been ruined. Instead, we enjoyed several days of fun-filled activities and breathtaking views.

Wow! What an amazing time we had! Its better in person!

Whenever I read reviews, there is always a hint of doubt that the glowing reviews are authentic. I can say, without a doubt, this is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever experienced! The pictures don't do it justice. The furnishings, amenities, and location will exceed your expectations. But the real star of the show is the staff. Chuy, we all miss your food. Every meal you prepared was perfection. It was a gift to have home-cooked meals every day of our vacation. Esmeralda, you created a spotless, comfortable and welcoming environment. No one needed to lift a finger while you were around. Allen was our ever-present server and bartender. There was no request that went unattended. You interacted with us the most and you always had the brightest smile and a desire to create the perfect moments for all of us! Artemio made sure that the grounds looked flawless every morning before anyone woke up. Griselda and Jorge were always present or available to assist with our needs. I really never experienced anything like this vacation and I will remember this birthday celebration with family and friends for years to come.

We had the best time staying at this villa for my bachelorette. The house is beautiful, the staff is amazing, food was great. Chef Chuy throws down. We planned to eat a couple of meals out because we wanted to try the restaurants around the area but it did or compare to the food Chuy was cooking.

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family and I stayed at the wonderful Casa Pena Del Mar to celebrate a family member's birthday! Not only was the house everything we had hoped for and more but the staff was absolutely incredible! The house manager Elena was constantly available to help organize our plans for the week and Chef Chuy cooked the most amazing meals! We cannot wait to return to Casa Pena Del Mar!

Amazing!

It was an unforgettable experience! The house was beautiful. The staff were even more so. I can’t imagine anything better. I could write a book here but it wouldn’t do it justice. Best Family Vacation Ever

Photos do not fully capture the beauty of the house’s location. It is magnificent! The rooms were beautifully furnished; the pocket glass doors made us feel like we were perpetually outdoors, even in the bedrooms; but at night we slept in air conditioned comfort. In addition, the staff was great: best Mexican food prepared by Chuy, most smiling and accommodating bartender Alan, Esmeralda and Artemis kept the property clean, and our property managers were ready to make our dream vacation come true! Doesn’t get better than that!

Our stay was awesome! The house is in a great Bayfront location where we were treated to a great view including whale watching. I wanted to write and express how wonderful our trip to Puerto Vallarta was and how much we enjoyed staying at this BEAUTIFUL Casa!!! Our first experience was being greeted by Elena, her daughter Maria and Chuy. They graciously helped us bring our luggage and bags inside. You could not ask for a better crew!!! We all fell in love with Elena. Maria, Chuy, Esmerelda and Artemeris!!! Chuy prepared the absolute best meals each day!! She should own her own restaurant! Maria was like a daughter to all of us and had the most amazing smile that she greeted us with each morning! She started our days off on a positive note! Esmerelda kept our rooms and bathrooms sparkling clean and was always so sweet! Artemeris was up at sunrise making sure the grounds and pool area were immaculate! And Elena was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I cried when it was time to leave. Elena is the heart of the home!!! She is the best operations house manager that you will probably ever have!! A Dream Vacation

ELENA S THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME AND SHE DESERVES A SIGNIFICANT RAISE IMMEDIATELY! It would be an understatement to say our stay was perfect. Every single one of our expectation were exceeded. We are over a week removed from our trip and all of us are still collectively day dreaming about how amazing of an experience it was. The home was everything we wanted and more. The pictures honestly do not do it justice. Stop reading this review and book it! I promise, you will not regret staying here. Aesthetically this home is just breath-taking. That said, what honestly made this trip a 5 star vacation for us, was the staff. Everyone from the chef, to facilities manager, and the house manager, were exceptional – best of the best! Our group fell in love with Elena, we honestly felt like she was part of our family and we miss her so much. She genuinely cared about us and you just can’t put a value on that. She is the kindest soul and we just enjoyed having her with us (I’m getting emotional). The owner of this home is so fortunate to have someone like Elena managing this home and I hope she is being compensated accordingly. WE LOVE YOU ELENA! HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!

I have celebrated with my friends my birthday at this beautiful house and property. Everything was wonderful. Chewy the chef was outstanding with all the food she prepared, was beyond expectations. Elena was available and helped us with anything we needed promptly. Our rooms were very clean on daily bases. We are for sure coming back. I can only highly recommend this property.

Wonderful thanksgiving week

Amazing! Elena the house manager and all of the employees treated us like royalty. We had so much fun. The house was amazing!! The chef Chuy was excellent, and the food I have no words of how good it was. THANK TOU FOR EVERYTHING CREW and Renza for awesome communication.

Luxury family treat with amazing views!

A truly beautiful home with exceptional service by all of the staff. The pool is extremely child friendly with the most beautiful view! The house manager, chef, housekeeper, and pool/maintenance man were all friendly, professional, and not intrusive. We enjoyed relaxing family time with our four children and the clubhouse was a short walk where we enjoyed lunch daily along with the workout room. The house is immaculate and well maintained with a very accommodating staff and owner.

GORGEOUS HOME WITH PAMPERING STAFF- Unforgettable Family Memories

First impressions are everything and this house delights the senses from the moment the gate is opened into the small, exclusive oceanfront neighborhood, to being greeted at the front door of the house by Elena and Roger to help with your luggage and introduce you to this glorious home. The pictures on VRBO are beautiful, yet there is no way to capture the true beauty of this home- the ocean views from every room, the tropical feel of the trees wrapping around the corners and interior of the home and the infinity edge pool. Everything about the house is 5-star and first class yet the very best part of the house is the staff- Elena, the house manager; Sarah, the chef; Esmeralda, the housekeeper and Artemio the groundskeeper. Beautiful people who made us feel a part of their family as we celebrated our family vacation. We were able to plan every meal with Elena which Sarah so scrumptiously cooked- I highly recommend her grilled fresh fish and chicken, homemade pico and guacamole and tortillas and her crepes, blueberry and banana pancakes and fresh fruit for breakfast! Elena took care of all of the grocery shopping for us and helped us book ziplining and ATV's as well as a 6 hour private boat for just our family. We thoroughly enjoyed the private beach in the community as well- where we partook in great lunches, amazing and inexpensive cocktails, the gym, the infinity edge pool, kayaking to Los Arcos and invigorating swims. We were pampered and well fed from the moment we awoke in our comfortable beds to the gorgeous Puerto Vallarta sunsets overlooking Los Arcos! We will absolutely make this home a tradition to look forward to for our annual family vacations. It is exceptional at every level and we made unforgettable memories here as we were able to just focus on catching up with each other and sharing family time (without others around like at hotels) and sharing phenomenal family meals at the table for 12. Thank you Karol , Elena, Roger, Angel, Sarah, Esmeralda & Artemio for pouring your hearts and souls into this beautiful home and the people who stay here. You are such blessings!

Excellent Property and Staff

This is our 2nd stay at Casa Pena Del Mar and it was as unforgettable as our first stay. The staff is top notch, willing to do whatever it takes to make it a relaxing stay. The property has an incredible view of the ocean that cannot be beat. The rooms are comfortable, clean, well-maintained. The chef, Sarah, is incredible and created some delicious Mexican meals. The beach club next door is great and we took the kids 3-4 times during our stay. The weather was hot, so we were pretty much in the pool or in the ocean all day long. We had 14 people in our party including 6 kids under the age of 5 and everyone was comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend this property, it is true luxury.
