Dreaming of your toes in the warm sand? Welcome to Fort Fun East, a peaceful beachfront home located directly on the sand in Ft. Morgan. This pet-friendly 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home comfortably sleeps up to 12 and is well suited for families and friends looking for a quieter, less crowded beach experience.

Our home offers direct beach access and unobstructed Gulf views from the south-facing deck. A bar-height counter and stools on the deck make it a great place for morning coffee at sunrise or relaxing in the evening as the sun sets over the water. Guests can hear the waves throughout the day and occasionally spot dolphins swimming just offshore.

At the pool level, a private plunge pool provides an easy place for kids to cool off between beach visits. Adirondack chairs offer comfortable seating for supervising pool time or relaxing while listening to the surf.

Inside, the home is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked for family stays. The kitchen includes ample cookware, dishes, and essentials for preparing meals. The dining and living areas overlook the Gulf and include a Roku TV for downtime. Bedrooms are arranged to give everyone their own space, making the layout especially convenient for larger groups.

Fort Fun East is one side of a duplex. Guests have private access to the entire unit, decks, plunge pool, and beach access. There are no shared indoor or outdoor guest spaces, and the home feels quiet and private during stays.

Such a great beach vacation home with lots of comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family! The kitchen is very well appointed, which made cooking wonderfully easy. Great family get away

Perfect location for family vacation. Right on beach, great porch overlooking beach to watch the sunrise and set. Private pool was a hit with all! House location is easy to get to and not too crowded. Will definitely be back here again. Beautiful, quiet area. House is clean and just as described. Hosts are easy to work with. Definitely recommend. We will be back!

Wonderful time in Ft Morgan!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in Fort Fun East. The house's proximity to the beach was literally a few feet. The accommodations were great, the kitchen fully stocked and plenty of beach chairs were provided. We love the setting of Ft Morgan for the quietness, no hustle/bustle and serene setting. Fort Fun East made it all the better. We are very appreciative of our hosts and their excellent response time and helpfulness. We will stay here again!

Family Beach Trip 2024

Great place in a great area. No crowds, no congestion, no hassle and great hosts. We had 11 adults (family) stay for 5 nights and it was a perfect spot to unwind and spend time together. The property was had lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, great kitchen and grill area. We will be back.

Fun Memories!

Toes in the Sand is Fantastic! The location of the house is right on the beach. We could watch the kids play in the sand from the house. The pool was a great hit as well! So refreshing to cool off and the kids had a blast. The beds are super comfortable. Everyone had their on space and bathroom! Two thermostats in house for perfect comfort control. Not crowded was so nice! Thank you for the perfect vacation home!

Perfect for families!

This home was perfect for families! We brought our extended family and there was plenty of space for everyone! Beds are all very comfortable. A few steps to the private beach access - no crowds. Pool was refreshing after a hot day at the beach! Mark and Ashley was so easy to work with - very accommodating and responsive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

Everything you need!

We have had an amazing three weeks at Fort Fun East. The house lacks for nothing for cooking and most of all, relaxing on the deck watching the Gulf.The house is decorated in calming blue tones and has plenty of room for ancouple or a big friend or family gathering.Communication with the owners was also always smooth and prompt.Lets put it this way, this was our first visit to the Gulf Shores area and we fell in love and bought a house. :)You will love your stay, do not hesitate!

Wonderful family getaway!

We vacationed with kiddos aged 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, and 13. My mom, sister, sister-in-law, and myself had our hands full! This house, and its perfect placement, made our lives so much easier! We were steps from the beach! After a few beach hours and a sand spray off with the hose at the stairs coming back into the house, the kids loved to cool off in the pool. We had a couple of rainy days so we drove and found a fun souvenir shop, restaurant/bar, and ice cream parlor just minutes away. Our electronic lock flashed ‘low battery’ so I reached out to the owners and someone was there in no time to fix it. She was very kind and patient as our kiddos happened to be in the pool when she stopped by so it was far from a quiet environment. We will definitely keep this property saved for future vacations!

Great House, Fantastic Location!!

The house is right on the beach as described in the listing. It was clean had almost everything that you would expect of a beach house and is perfect for a quite family beach getaway. We loved it and everything was just great. The only word of caution for potential travelers (and this is not on the host and out of their control), Doordash/Uber eats does service the area and there are very few restaurants in this part of the island. So please make sure you are stocked with food etc, or else you will end up spending about 30/45 mins (min) to get to/fro from a decent restaurant. :) Thanks Ashley and Mark.

Great duplex

The views are wonderful. The house is just right to spread out but not too large to get lost. Our host was very responsive. She gave us our info a head of time so we could make plans early for our autistic sons. We had our dogs with us so swept every day. There was a pair of socks and dried up food scraps under the couch. IT IS A DUPLEX which was not in the description. You will have a neighbor on the other side of the wall.

Fall Break

Very good location. Beach area is wonderful. There was 12 of us but with 5 adult in the living room it was a little tight. There is only 1 towel per person so with us staying 5 days I had to do laundry everyday. And there is only 2 dish cloths and 1 dish towel and no pot holders. We enjoy cooking and eating In so after a meal was cooked the dish towel had to be washed also. Just needs to be more towels for a 4 bedroom and 3 bath house. The grand kids loved the pool I just felt like I did laundry all week.

Great House

The property was right on the beach. We are semi-local so we understood that there wasn’t a ton of restaurants and shopping so we tried to bring everything we needed. There is a new Dollar General right down the street that was convenient. I loved that we didn’t have to bring beach chairs, they were already there. The living area is a tad small when you have teenagers lounging around, but we also were there when it was a bit cooler temps and couldn’t enjoy outside as much. Of all things that the house didn’t have…oven mitts. Our daughter was coming the next day so she brought some with her. Otherwise, the kitchen was fully stocked and the house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy!

You will love this place!

This was just the trip we needed. The house was comfortable and so put together. Access to a pool was nice for the midday heat and the washer and dryer helped with fast cleanup. Will definitely return!

Perfect House for Family Vacation!

This house was perfect for our family with 5 teenagers!!! Beach access was incredible, kitchen was so well stocked we didn’t use half the gadgets we brought with us, beds were comfy!! Will definitely stay here again!

Breathtaking View!

Beautiful house and gorgeous view! The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need, including beach chairs and umbrellas. The owners were wonderful and very quick in responding to our questions. You could not possibly want anything else in a beach house. Being able to bring our dog and take him out to the beach with us was the cherry on top!! We will definitely be back!
