Great house. TV was easy. Comfortable beds. Private.Nice to have a garage. Wonderful to have the yard. (Why we booked.) The only glitch was there was no mention of the key in the lockbox in the check-in instructions. NONE. We were tired, it was windy, the sun was in my eyes. When the code repeatedly did not work, I of course had to call. The worst part was I could not understand what I was being instructed to do. The accent was so thick, it was not fun. We will re-book!

Great Place Great View

Very clean, super great view, great communication. We only stayed one night, everything was great and I would stay again in a minute. Pretty sure we were the last in the US to see the sunset !

Fantastic location, but...

First, the positives: This property is located in a spectacular location if you're looking for a seaside experience. There's a wonderful deck with a view of the ocean. You can also hear it when the windows are open. It's exhilarating.It is VERY spacious. The photos don't do justice to the room that's available. In addition to the large upstairs, there's a lower level with its own full bath and a large flat-screen TV. We didn't use it; the upstairs level was sufficient.I like to cook, and the kitchen was well furnished. We didn't lack for anything."Room for improvement": The door entry code was 10 digits. Assuming my college statistics isn't failing me, this allows for 10 billion possible permutations. This isn't necessary, and having to pull our phones to see the code every time we entered the property quickly became tiresome. Every other property we have stayed at used a 4-digit code. This allows for 10,000 possible permutations. This is adequate - so why inflict needless pain on a customer?The upstairs bathroom was... gross. There was hair on the floor and on the walls of the shower. We didn't feel comfortable bathing until we picked it up ourselves. The mirror and the sink fixtures also needed to be cleaned.The soap dish also needs to be reattached (see photo). One of the upstairs beds is also coming apart, and has also detached from the wall (see photo). Our guest who slept in said it felt like it was on the verge of collapse. It needs repair or replacement.

Great Location

It was the perfect location for us with close access to the beach along with being close to where the rest of my family was staying. We loved having the dog with us. It’s a great place for a dog. It was clean, quiet, and had somewhat of a view.

Fantastic stay!

This house was perfect for our family. Had everything we could want. 5 minute walk to beach with views to die for. You pretty much have the beach to yourself and occasionally a very few others. Stunning lighthouse view from beach. House well thought out. Well supplied and thoughtful extras like dog gates, plenty to cook with, the yard perfect for little dogs (fully secure), great neighbors, feels secluded from main town but immediate access to all that Newport offers. We come to the coast every year, and stay in different locations. This was by far one of the best we have stayed in. Loved every minute! Wi-Fi was solid and fast!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll be back.

Newport stay

We come to the area for work at this time of the year. We had been staying at a hotel for the past decade and decided to try out a home this time. Couldn’t be happier we did! Blue wave was amazing. Relaxing, quiet, awesome beach, dog friendly, hot tub was lovely! Just what we needed for the weekend.

Waking up each morning seeing the ocean spread out before us. Nothing can compare. Close to stores and many eating establishments. Very relaxing, thanks for letting us stay and being a great host.

Great place

Does an excellent job of covering all the basics. Nothing fancy. Nice view from deck, private yard, lots of space for a 2 bedroom rental. Garage big enough to make great indoor play space in inclement weather. Adjacent trail down to beach is steep and slippery in some places so not for everyone. Beach is pretty private since at the end of a dead end up against a rocky outcrop blocking access from other direction. Would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend to others.

Best Oregon coast getaway imaginable!

Second year at this house, and it was just as amazing as last time! Beautiful kitchen, comfy beds, very clean, lovely layout for friends and family to spend time together, and the best view ever. Loved having our coffee on the porch and taking a quick stroll down to beach everyday and ending our day with hot tubbing! Plus check-in/out was so simple! Thank you!

Quiet getaway with sounds of surf

Some friends and I stayed several nights here. It was spacious, clean and very well stocked. The hot tub was a nice luxury and there is a path down to the beach but it’s not easy for some. My friend’s dog loved the fenced yard too. Our only issue we had was that this proPerry is actually managed by Vacasa and for some reason they changed our door code on our second day and did not communicate that and then tried to gaslight us when we called to ask for help when we’re locked out. We all double checked our email and texts but there was zero alerts! Not impressed with Vacasa.

Great Beach Place

Love the place. Beds were comfortable, home was clean. They had their guest needs in mind for sure. Nice quiet friendly neighborhood. Great place for our dog too. We were heading out one day and 2 women pulled in the driveway asking about the place. We highly recommend they book it. They were staying some place else but wished they chose here instead. We invited them in to take a look and they were impressed. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Good time!

This house was neat and clean, extremely well stocked (cupboards and drawers were packed), in a good spot, easy to find, and with a great sunset view from the deck. A very good value.
