About this property

Secluded cottage in Muskoka

The house is located on a large property 15 acres in the middle of the Muskoka Lakes. I’ve build a traditional log cabin which is completely self sufficient, known as Off Grid.

Find yourself in the middle of Muskoka surrounded by nature and only minutes away from shopping, golf, swimming, ext. Our cabin is often booked by groups of golfers who want to get away from the hotel scene. Many of our guests combine our cabin with a main cottage on the water as we are only a few hundred feet away from the water but still quiet and peaceful. We are located on the Hemlock pt road where you can find many rental water front Cottages five minutes by foot away.

Secluded Getaway

The property is just as its listing. Beautiful, quaint, quiet and friendly neighbors that always say hello in passing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owner was fantastic to deal with. When you stay here, you get the real log cabin feelings.

Amazing place

Bellisimo lugar rodeado de bosque. Casa de estilo rústico pero con todas las comodidades. Ideal para disfrutar de la naturaleza. El único incoveniente es que internet no llegó a funcionar, pero realmente no fue algo importante.

A quiet place in the heart of the Muskokas

We had a great time at this cottage. The build is all wood. Inside and out, so if you want that cottage feel this is it. It has a large deck that goes all around. The living room has very high ceilings and plenty of overhead wood beams. There’s lots of room at this place. We loved the look. The owners had everything we needed and were great to deal with. Very welcoming and accommodating. We were told all the good trails and waterfalls to see in the area. And they delivered. Awesome sights. They kept in touch throughout the trip which is also nice. If you’re looking for a great stay close to all the sights this could be the one for you. 5 minutes from Port Carling. It’s a beautiful area. Come explore.

I’m a private property owner and I’m often out of country so I’m able to offer my cabin cottage for rental.

Why they chose this property

This property is unusually secluded for busy Muskoka. You can come and enjoy all the wonderful things of Muskoka but can retreat to the property for the rest and relaxation. Lots of wildlife but still close to all the amenities.

What makes this property unique

It’s absolutely quiet.
