We had a lovely week! The cottage is cozy, comfortable, and charming. The views from the porch are fabulous! Highly recommend!

Great community in an amazing spot.

This spot allowed us to do everything from a lobster boat tour, fishing for stripers, and beach time. We enjoyed playing games, sharing meals, kayaking, and playing pickleball and tennis. We appreciated the community established there, welcoming us in (including my puppy dog). The hosts thought of everything and were openly available for anything. Downtown Brunswick is close with lots of restaurants to visit if you don’t feel like cooking. Can’t thank everyone enough for sharing their home and their community.

Beyond words.

Heather and Bill’s cottage is right out of a magazine - the description doesn’t even begin to do it justice. It’s small but comfortable, beautiful and well equipped, and the neighborhood is incredibly special. Not to mention the view. Heather and Bill know everything there is to know about living here and were kind and responsive throughout our stay, even going out of their way to make sure we had life vests for the family. We loved our time there and made wonderful memories.

Our 3 grown adult children grew up summering at Mere Point and now we live here year round. It's a beautiful taste of Maine close to the Islands (by land or sea) and all of the lobster you can eat! Paul's Marina is a short ride away and is a charming spot for sandwiches and ice cream on a hot summer's day.

Why they chose this property

The community is family oriented, quiet and safe. The cottage is extremely clean, well maintained and cared for. Front porch overlooks the ocean and back porch is private, off of driveway.
Freeport (LLBean, etc) Outlets are 30-minute drive as are the islands and local restaurants. College town, Brunswick is 7 miles from the cottage.

Coastal summer cottage, come relax on the front or back porch and/or work (if you have to! High speed internet).
