Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Stowe’s lower village, this spacious apt provides the perfect place for a family or group of friends. The location is ideal- close to everything the area has to offer- skiing, hiking/biking trails, water activities but only 7 minutes from the highway for quicker access to Burlington. At over 900 sqft, this walkout bottom-floor apt has views of the property’s pond and woods. A firepit & outdoor seating provide a wonderful way to relax after a day of adventures.

The place was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for an easy, relaxing stay. And the location was a huge plus, just a quick drive to Stowe village for restaurants and shops, and very close to the main snowshoe trailheads, which made getting out for hikes (and getting back to unwind afterward) simple and convenient.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Maura provided outstanding insights around area attractions and dining options. Although it is the ground floor apartment of the home, we had tremendous privacy. We spent hours on the deck each day. My wife and I were sad to see our glorious 4 day weekend come to a close. But we hope to return to Stowe soon and stay at the Retreat again!

What a Great Find!

We loved everything about this stay and we were sad to leave. The view of the pond from our porch was fantastic, birds chirping early morning while enjoying coffee. Everything we needed was supplied, clean and comfortable.

Fantastic winter retreat

The property was fantastic and everything we hoped for. It was close enough to mountains to go skiing, but remote enough to offer peace and quiet at night. The hosts were extremely helpful and easy to talk with. 100000/10 would recommend - we are already considering our next visit!

Perfect Stay

The accommodations were perfect. Easy to access, very nice walk out basement. Privacy not a problem whatsoever. Very nice for our quick 2 night stay but would be excellent for a longer stay as well. The host was responsive any time we communicated but not much was needed as we had zero issues. Would highly recommend.

Great ski crash pad

We stayed two nights for a ski weekend. Was a great alternative to a hotel room. House was conveniently located to Stowe. Nicely done especially the kitchen. Nice to be able to come home and have comforts of home without being home. No issues with being on the same property as the owner. Looks like it would be a cool spot for a summer or fall stay too. Will go back if we plan another trip.

Great getaway in Stowe

We loved Stowe Retreat - extremely clean, great location near enough to town and slopes. Really comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. Away from main road and beautiful surroundings of pond and trees.

Impeccable space in the heart of The Green Mountains

We stayed in this beautiful apartment for two nights while visiting Stowe and absolutely loved it! The space is impeccably clean and very well appointed. The beds are probably the most comfortable we've ever slept in away from home! The location is great - just minutes from most activities and restaurants we wanted to visit. The hosts were very responsive and pleasant, and we're so glad they welcomed us to their home! We hope to stay again sometime!
