Quiet stay

The house was great! It was close to Harper’s Ferry so we made a day trip in. Thanks for letting us stay in your home, we had a great time and would come back!

Highland Games!

We stayed (large family) and enjoyed every second. It was the perfect location to attend the Highland Games at Sam Michael's Park.

Would stay here again

The house was amazing. In fact once we walked in I felt like the pictures did not do justice to how nice the house was. It was perfect for our family. The check in process and location was great for visiting the nearby Civil War battlefields. Thank you for this great place.

Wedding weekend

We needed a place to stay for a wedding weekend. Our stay was perfect. The bridal party was able to get dressed there the morning of the wedding. There was plenty of room for us. The place was clean and very nice. No complaints from any of us.

Beautiful home

The location was convenient for the activities that we enjoyed. The house was spotless and lovely, and perfect for a large family gathering. We had an issue with the A/C (upstairs) and the owner was quickly responsive.

Beautiful Views and a Pleasant Stay

The location and house were beautiful, and the service was exceptional. Initially, we had a few minor issues, but the property manager addressed our concerns immediately and made it possible for us to immensely enjoy our first visit to West Virginia. We loved the layout of the house, the decorating and the gorgeous views! We highly recommend it.

House

The house is very nice for a group of 8. The website showed a keurig but it only had a 5 cup coffee maker and that is very small for a group of 8 people. The house has instructions in the kitchen for your stay that states you can only have one car, that is crazy for a house for 8 people.

We had to find other accommodations last minute. It was a terrible experience

There was no running water. We had trouble contacting the host and we had trouble with talking to vrbo customer service. The calls kept disconnecting and after 2 hours we were told that our stay would be canceled and we would have to find other accommodations. Customer service asked us to find other accommodations through VRBO. However, we could not check in the same day. The website would not allow us to check in the same day so we had to go find a hotel for our entire family of eight. It was a terrible experience and we missed our other activities because we were dealing with us.

Great location!

The house is in anew development and is very spacious. The kitchen is a little empty on pots and pans and utensils. The shower head on the master bathroom I looks like needs to be replaced cause the water flow is not good. Other than the house is in great condition and very spacious and would definitely recommend. It has an Aldi and a Sheetz about 2 minutes away and lots of wineries within 20 minutes. Harper Ferry is also nearby.

Gorgeous Home

This place was amazing! It was beautiful and so spacious - it looked exactly like the pictures online. The check-in & check-out processes were seamless, and the property manager was very responsive. I would absolutely rent this house again. It was a completely perfect spot to get ready with my bridesmaids for my wedding. Can’t say enough positive things about the space!

Beautiful house but not a farm house

Lovely place. Spacious. Well and recently renovated. Kitchen is stocked but few items missing like tongs. House is in a community so do not expect a secluded farmhouse. No outside firepit or fireplace. Grill is mediocre and charcoaled whereas you need to bring your own grilling equipment

Great couples getaway

3 couples stayed here for a weekend. Close to Harpers Ferry. Spacious home with 4 bedrooms. 2 have own bathrooms and 2 share a bath. Seemed to be brand new.

Beautiful house

The home was decorated beautifully. We found most everything we needed to cook our breakfast. There weren’t many pots and pans but we made do. It seems to be a house that no one lives in, at least the main floor and upstairs. We would stay at the house again for sure! Had soap, coffee and filters, water bottles and snacks.

Harpers Ferry Home

The house was lovely and met the needs of our 3 family couples quite well. All linens and amenities were very nice. We did miss having a Keurig Coffee Maker as pictured and there was no toaster. Other than that, the stay was just perfect. The owner was responsive and easy to talk to. Thank you!

Fantastic country getaway

We opted for a country getaway for spring break, but we wanted luxe amenities. We also wanted a quick drive from DC where we live. This lovely home exceeded all expectations to the point that our littlest can’t stop talking about “the red home.” Our boys loved the vast yard. We loved the new-construction feel, impeccable home, and airy spaciousness. All of our needs were met from responsiveness, to ease of entry, to proximity to Harper’s Ferry. We even befriended some of the neighbors during our nightly scooter walks with the kids. Upon arrival to the home, there were personalized signs that welcomed us. The wifi and travel guides were front and center and the kitchen was well stocked with beverages and cooking supplies. Overall, the home was beautiful, spotless, and a wonderful open layout. We would love to revisit this rental and highly recommend it for family and friend groups.
