A small oasis in the castle park of the chateau Utzschneider. Close to town yet romantic in the midst of tall trees is your vacation home "Le bois de Robin". We look forward to welcoming you as our guests. Our house is at ground level and barrier-free!
The house has a floor space of 82m². It consists of a large living room with integrated and fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower and bathtub, as well as a separate toilet and a storeroom. The two bedrooms each have two beds (90 x 200 cm), which can be put together to form a large double bed. In addition, the sofa can be converted into a bed in the living room. The house has a floor heating and a stove. In the storage room are also washing machine and dryer. In summer you can eat at a table with four chairs on the terrace. Of course, the house has fast Internet, Wi-Fi and TV. Floor heating, firewood, bed linen and towels are included in the price. If required, we provide you with a baby equipment (bed, high chair, changing table, bath, bottle warmer) ready.
The house has a beautiful garden with tall trees. Enjoy the tranquility in the middle of nature on your private terrace or the view of the castle from the hammock between the trees.
The area is fenced and you have two private parking spaces in front of the house. Access is possible via an electric gate exclusively for our guests.
Our holiday home is located in the middle of the former park of the Schlössschen Utzschneider, the founder of the Faiencerie in Saargemünd. You have a wonderful view of the castle and a beautiful fountain. In the immediate vicinity you will find shops of all kinds and in twenty minutes you can walk to the center of Saargemünster. The region has much to offer: visit the Faiencerie Museum, the five-star Saarlandtherme or one of the many gourmet restaurants. Other tourist attractions are the Völklinger Hütte, the European Cultural Park Bliesbrück Reinheim, the citadel of Bitch, the Simserhof and much more. Le bois de Robin is also an excellent starting point for sports activities. Discover the well-developed network of cycle paths and several golf courses in the area. The wonderful landscape is the biosphere reserve Biesgau - Germany's orchid country, in which almost half of all nationwide orchid species grow. Cultural highlights include the Christmas market and the Saint Paul Festival in late June. There's a lot to discover!
There is a bus stop in front of the castle. However, the buses run only at longer intervals, as the distance to the city center is easy to handle.
We look forward to being your hosts and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We live across the street and are quickly on-site if you wish.
