Only just over one kilometre away you can access miles of wide sandy beaches, where free parking is available and you can find quiet spots even in peak season. In nearby Monasterace Marina (3.5 km.) all necessary shops for your daily needs can be found (supermarkets, greengrocers, fishmonger, butcher & delicatessen, pharmacy, bank, post office, gas station, etc.) as well as restaurants, espresso bars and the best ice cream parlor in the entire area. There are plenty of excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Besides the excavations of the ancient greek city of Kaulon in Monasterace itself, other nearby places of interest are the picturesque village of Stilo (15 km.) with its unique Byzantine Cattolica Church, the waterfalls of Bivongi (20 km), the famously known town of hospitality Riace (12 km.) and finding site of the world-famous bronze statues, the lively seaside town of Roccella Ionica (20 km.) with its medieval castle, its port and its prestigious Jazz Festival "Rumori Mediterranei" (every August), as well as the archaeological park Locri Epizefiri (44 Km.) and the historic mountain village of Gerace (45 km.). The spacious and airy apartment is about 160 sqm. large and located on the first floor with independent entrance from the outside. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with TV (international channels can be recieved aswell), a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace. There are two double beds, three single beds and if necessary a cot / crib.
