About this property

Stunning upstairs loft features exposed brick walls, local art, and a cozy modern feel in downtown Benton Harbor.

1 br, 1.5 baths, features beautiful KitchenAid appliances, dual-head shower with river rock, super comfy king sized bed, and skylights throughout. Need to work while you're here? Melt into our new Herman Miller Embody chair and get to it!

The space
This is a unique urban loft in the arts District of Benton Harbor. The building is an old candymaking factory that is about 100 years old and my unit even has a (non-functional historic) elevator in it that used to be used to bring flour and sugar up-and-down to make candy.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire unit as well as a full suite of appliances, dishes, AppleTV and connecting applications, and more. I do not have Live TV but do have a Roku device with streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu available.

Other things to note
My place is in great proximity to wine country and many guests have enjoyed visiting the local wineries.

Also note that I do live here so the closets will be full with my items. It will be obvious what is not for guest use. I am NOT there when you stay as I also live in Charlotte NC, Chicago, and Saugatuck.

NOISE: The bedroom is the wall against the common space in the condo so sometimes you will hear doors, kids, dogs or noise from the common area in the bedroom. This can sometimes be a challenge for light sleepers. I use a white noise app and most guests are not bothered by it, but just wanted to give full disclosure.

Great get away!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! It was fun playing some records (a nice selection). We did some binging on Netflix which we usually don't have time to do. Also, we went to 3 different places to eat that were within walking distance which was so nice to be able to do. Brad is a great host and has an awesome place!

Really sweet place

Brads place was clean, cool, and very unique. The gourmet kitchen was a big plus along with the very comfortable bed. We didn’t want to leave.

Exceeds expectations!

Cute little neighborhood adjacent to St Joe with great offerings. Adorable building and rental. Love the decor and how clean everything was. I would rent again in a heartbeat!
