DESCRIPTION:

This is really a cute place in a very popular location, only a 4 to 5-minute walk to the beach, all activities, store, and restaurants.

Two bedrooms(2 twins and Queen) + sleeping loft (full mattress on the floor), full-size sleep sofa in den area and a 2- twin trundle bed in the sunroom, 1 bath. Also an instant On-Demand HOT water system. It is delightful, in a perfect location, non-smoking, six room cottage that sits on the sunny side of a 'no-through traffic' street. It's fully equipped for your comfort and enjoyment. Three decks with outside lighting, a quiet shady back deck with exit stairs and gated for small children. Two decks in front, one covered and gated, the other sunny. The covered portion has a table & 5 chairs. The sunny deck has four chairs, coffee table, and gas grill. Three steps off front deck is a great campfire site with chairs and benches. Campfire wood is available while it lasts. A half-cord of wood is purchased every Spring for your use. This is a $175.00 value, FREE to you while it lasts. There are three entrance/exit doors, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, ceiling and table fans with three window A/Cs. Smoking is allowed on the three decks outside. Parking in the driveway for two vehicles and golf cart.

Kids love the loft...with a staircase instead of a ladder, it is the first place they run to, claiming their space for the week. It has a full-size mattress on the floor, safety guard on the window and two cabinets. The cottage also has 3 TVs, 3 windows A/C (one in each bedroom) and an A/C for den/kitchen/loft area which cools nicely. The sun room has TV, leather recliner love seat and a convenient 2-twin trundle bed, whereby the bottom twin can remain at floor level for the little ones. All sleeping quarters will be supplied with pillows, protective pillowcase covers, mattress pad, bedspread, and blanket. Also a built-in stereo system and a stand-alone stereo system with a 5-CD changer. The bathroom has a great step-in shower with 2 seats, an instant HOT water system. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, standard Mr. Coffee-maker, blender, toaster-oven, etc. It is fully equipped.

But, remember only 6 people are allowed in each cottage. A management regulation.

YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU:

Sheets & pillowcases for 4 Twins and 2 Full sets and 1 Queen, your bath and beach towels and beach blanket. Please do not use the cottage's bed blankets at the beach.

Sand/Beach chairs are supplied. Please don't take them home by mistake when you leave. When leaving please put sand chairs back on deck with the Beach-Buggy.

Beach Buggy-For your use to haul all your stuff to the beach. BUT PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT HOME WITH YOU. In recent years we have supplied beach tents, half-moon sun tent/shades, heavy heat gloves for the campfire, full extra propane tank, sand chairs, grill utensils, even a wooden DREAM sign from the front bedroom, and they were taken home by guests. We did not replace them for obvious reasons. So, please, when packing the car know " what to take" and "what to leave."

The booking process is easy and a Very well kept cottage

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have been going to Point Sebago for 7 years on and off but Five years in a row at this cottage. The booking process is easy and very organized. The owners give you plenty of time to book a cart for your vacation which from experience is quite rare. I go with about 6 or 7 other families the same week an we seem to have the easiest time booking. Paleo Woods way is a nice street to be on at Point Sebago it's a quiet block but a short walk to the Beach and Tiki Bar. It's very close the Sports Complex also which we are at a lot. The cottage fits our needs nicely we are a family of four with two young ones and they have plenty of space the cottage has a loft for extra sleeping or a playing are my son just got into last year he is five. The kitchen is well stocked and also the gift basket the owners leave comes in handy with some essentials you will need during the week. The front porch is great for cookouts and the back porch is a nice spot for your morning coffee. There is also wood stocked for the season but we go towards the end of the summer so it is hit or miss for us if it is available but most of the time it is. The twin beds aren't the most comfortable but for kids its ok. There is a lot of décor so if you have small ones watch out for that.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your honest review. We work hard to supply our guests with things they can use and to also help enjoy a pleasant stay in our cottage. I've thinned out the decor (at least I think so, I love my "stuff"). The twin beds referred to is the trundle set, which is now in the sunroom for extra sleeping. For the last two summers (2015, 2016), the twin bedroom has new and comfortable mattresses/beds and in 2016, the front bedroom received a new Queen mattress/bed. In fact, in summer of 2014, it was this guest that mentioned the twin beds were not that comfortable for adults but ok for kids. The very next summer (2015) they had new mattresses/beds...so we listen and it's so important to us that our guest are comfortable and they share their comments. It is not unusual for us to call the guests after they get home to find out if everything was top notch, clean and what else could we do to help make it more comfortable for them. This family has been wonderful guests for the past 5 years and we are happy to have them back year after year as they leave the cottage nice and clean and they are easy to work with, rental fees always on time. Thank you again for being our guests. George and Deanna

We finally found "the one"!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family has been coming to Point Sebago on and off for the past 8 years. Not until last summer had we found a home in which we felt truly comfortable and completely satisfied. The owners make the rental process so easy and efficient and their home is so well kept, tastefully decorated and stocked with all the kitchen supplies one could ever possibly need! Beach chairs, a fire pit, immaculate grill and outdoor patio furniture rounded out the picture for us. It was a very hot week last summer so the A/C was truly a plus! It was a quick walk to the beach and activities offered at Point Sebago which is what our girls love. I highly recommend this home to anyone.

Love it!!!

  • 5 of 5

We have rented this site (friends rent site next door) for the past 4 years and I can't say enough good things about it! Owners are super sweet and a pleasure to deal with. Cottage is well maintained and feels like a home away from home. The beach and activities are 5 minute walk from the cottage. Point Sebago is amazing - there is always something to do for everyone in the group. We look forward to our week at PS every summer. An absolute gem!!!

Loved our stay!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here last summer and wanted to write a quick review. The home was very comfortable and had all possible equipment needed! I loved being close enough to walk to the restaurant and beach. The kids loved to go back and forth to the ice cream stand and pizza and Mini golf, shuffle board, paddle boats.. So much to do, so little time, the week goes by too fast! The owners answered all my questions and really thought of everything we needed. My favorite time was sitting out at the fire pit area and making s'mores! We will definitely be back, thank you for sharing your home!

Great times sometimes require great places!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much for letting us rent from you. Your place is so clean and updated, nice not using campy old mattress... Our family had so much fun having our friends right next door, so glad you said you rent that one too! You were right the beach is so close we didn't need to rent a golf cart it really was a 5 min walk to the lounge, took a little longer getting home...lol

Thank you, George

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We appreciate you leaving it clean and neat too. Our biggest accomplishment is making sure the cottage is absolutely spotless and comfortable for our guests. lWe had friends who stayed in both 1462 and 1464 next door to each other which only added to our vacation. Great location too. CherylH
