This was the perfect retreat for our annual retreat of rapidly aging hometown friends. The location to great bars and restaurants is perfect, the interior is spacious, decor is vibrant and playful, and the balcony connects everything together. I was appreciative of the great customer service and communication with the property owners as well. We will be sure to think of this location next time!
Awesome space & the eclectic decor was so much fun, especially the disco bathroom. Our daughter's wedding was across the street at The Guild so the location was perfect. Highly recommend if you need to stay in the Crossroads.
This loft was everything!!!!! So fun, so roomy and so comfortable! The location is perfect for out of towners to experience KC, but a great staycation for locals as well. Highly recommend!
Terrific place for a large group -- full of personality and close to downtown in a terrific urban artsy neighborhood with good food and drink within walking distance. Nice outdoor area too. Some quirks but overall a great place for a group of adults.
This place is so chic, large and perfectly located — we immediately knew we’d discovered a treasure!
The photos are great - but it’s one of those places you really have to see it to believe.
The host was extremely friendly, helpful and responded to all of our questions very quickly.
We will definitely stay again - and again - and again.
Property was amazing. Perfect for our group. Great location. Will stay here again when we come back to KC. Lance was an amazing host. 10/10 experience.
This amazing converted firehouse was as comfortable as it was interesting. Completely restored with so much original art, modern lighting, fun furniture and lots of space.
The neighborhood was safe with plenty of walkability to downtown and crossroads attractions.
We will stay again when the opportunity arises!
We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette party this past weekend, and every single thing about it was perfect and amazing! Lance was incredible to work with in the house couldn’t have been better! I would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for somewhere fun, unique and safe!!!
We had a great time. Can’t beat the location, just a short walk to local restaurants and T mobile Center. We felt safe in the area too. Plenty of street parking. The loft was very eclectic, everywhere you look were new things to look at. Everyone was comfortable, all 12 of us!
This property was awesome! We had 10 adults and it fit us perfectly. The beds were big and very comfortable and the bedrooms were large enough for all our belongs during the 4 night stay. The living area was huge and had a great vibe with the unique decorating. The TV was plenty big and viewable from all areas of the living room. Open floorpan and plenty of counter space for food and large table for eating, puzzles and games. A very big refrigerator, good stovetop and plenty of cooking utensils, pans, etc. Sure appreciated the laundry facilities. The absolute best part was the location, being a short walk to P&L and to the Crossroads area with bars, restaurants and activities. It was such a good time and we would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the KC area and spend time with friends and family.
We traveled to KC with my family and our nanny. The setup was ideal. There is a huge master with two king size beds and a cool long makeup vanity with several stools. Large jetted tub and a shower. Then there is a small bedroom near the master and the other two bedrooms are on the other end of the apartment so our family had space from the other. There’s also a lofted bed downstairs if you need it.
The decor, furniture and overall vibe are very rock and roll, vintage, and inspires fun. I imagine a wedding party or friend group would have a blast in this space. Heart of the crossroads by tons of bars and restaurants.
Would stay again. Thank you for everything!!
If you are looking for a unique, instagram worthy, comfortable, convenient stay in the heart of Kansas City - look no further!! We stayed at this amazing refurbished firehouse loft to celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding! The decor was INCREDIBLE! Vibes are IMMACULATE. Besides the art being so cool, we also loved the working arcade game. Outside balcony type area was so nice! Spacious freezer and fridge. Keurig coffee maker. So many beds so we were comfortable in our group ten women. The hosts were very responsive, and helpful with providing some fun things to do/places to eat. Super convenient location! 10 minute walk to Power and Lights, and even less to Messanger Coffee - a personal fave! Easy parking. Located right above an art gallery. There are quite a few stairs to the top, so be prepared for that! One of my only feedbacks, would be having a floor fan available since one of the bedrooms gets rather warm (we went during the summer) and maybe offering a way to block out the light in the room adjacent to the biggest bedroom. I would recommend this highly to anybody looking for a fun place to stay with friends in KC!
This was a delightful property. The decor was very fun. Huge island was great for putting food out on. Table was great for playing games. One bedroom had two king beds and a sofa, with a long vanity. It was a bit awkward with the shower right there. (I took a plastic tablecloth and put up for a bit of privacy...but, I am old. Young women probably didn't care...) There was a room with a queen bed at that same end of the hall...no curtains...so a bit bright in the morning. Party bathroom was a blast! The other end of the unit had a room with a king bed and a queen bed in a room above it and a bath up there. There was also a bed at the entry...sort of lofted above the entry way. The beds were so comfortable and pillows were great too. AC worked everywhere. Quite a few stairs with no elevator. Kitchen had a huge fridge.
Coffee maker and a Kuerig were nice to have. (Messengers Coffee is close too.) Ice maker didn't work. We bought ice and it was fine. The outdoor space is nice. Great location!! Walkable to many breweries, restaurants, bars, etc.... Thank you for such a lovely unit!!
We were there to celebrate a birthday and had an absolute ball. The property is such a unique and fun place, surprises around every corner. We have a group of ladies who are looking for a bachelorette venue and have already recommended it. Thanks for such a memorable weekend.
Fun, funky (in all the good ways), fabulous loft! The loft was clean, comfortable with ample space. There were fun details and surprises at every turn! A few things worth noting-it's located in more of an industrial area then residential. That said, there are great stores and restaurants within walking distance and it always felt safe. Would be fabulous for a girls (or guys) getaway!! All living areas are upstairs so mobility is important. Lance was a great host, his responses were always prompt!
7 of us stayed at this property for a girls weekend away. It was EXACTLY what we all needed! The place was super comfortable, and it was so much fun! The disco ball in the bathroom and the stripper pole were definitely the highlights for us, lol. Communication was terrific - our code wasn't working upon check-in, but Shae responded within 1 minute to get us the correct code. The location was ideal - right in the Power & Light district, so we walked everywhere. The beds were VERY comfortable too. We would definitely stay here again!
