Indoors, natural sunlight pours nonstop through large windows, warming the home’s terra-cotta and ocean blue accents. The living room’s large tile fireplace is an enticing feature in front of massive, comfy blue sofa and arm chair. A corner TV and wireless Internet, plus any board games you bring from home, equate to hours of memorable family time. Prepare your morning coffee in the fully equipped kitchen and step outside to enjoy the breeze from Roberts Bay.
Twelve guests will sleep comfortably in the home’s four spacious bedrooms, while numbers eleven and twelve have a high-end sleeper sofa to call their own. Bedrooms are configured to suit all sorts of groups: a king bed (master bed), queen bed (bedroom two), two twin beds (bedroom three) are great for two families traveling together. You can keep your mother-in-law at bay in her own private suite, which has a private entrance and two queen beds.
Your group can come and go as they please from this ideally located property, perhaps dividing into adventure aficionados and window shopping teams, before regrouping for sunset cocktails on the back deck.
This wonderful home is only a 2 blocks walk to the charming town of Venice filled with coffee shops, wine bars, art stores, antique shops and fine restaurants. And, our house is also only a 6 block walk along the tree lined Venice Avenue to the beach. Plus, we've just added high-speed Internet for guests who bring their laptop.
Or, walk to the Venice Pier and Sharky's Restaurant to enjoy the sunset, or enjoy a morning walk of approximately twenty blocks. In and around the beach area, you’ll find many water-sports and tour operators, as well as famous Sharky’s restaurant. At night it comes to life as the city’s favorite live music venue. If traveling with pets, treat them to a day at Brohard Paw Park and they’ll wag tails in gratitude.
This VRBO partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
The pictures were misleading. Leaves and cigarette butts were out front of door and not swept or cleaned prior to arrival. Cobwebs were everywhere in and outside of unit. Location was nice, but overall the unit needed power washed and painted, and inside was not as clean as pictures depict it.
The pool was very covenant for the kids. A week stay wasn't long enough. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to go back next year!!
Beds are the worst so uncomfortable
When we fist arrived the whole house smelled like Cat Pee. We were told it was a Pet free house. My children are allergic to Dogs and Cats. We went out to the local Walmart and bought a can of Lysol and spread the whole house. Every time you came into the house it still smelled like cat pea. In the master bed room closet there were 4 spots that looked like some thing peed in there. The wood work through out the house was dirty, the closets where the Linens looked like someone just tossed the linens in there without folding them. My Mother and I folded them. The Master bath shower has a whole around the handle to turn on the water for the shower and you can see the plumbing. The light switches in the Master bedroom for the linens closet didn't work. I don't know who cleaned, but they do not know how to move furniture. We found things behind the Chest of drawers in the Master and behind the couch. The kitchen was small, the refrigerator doors were dirty especially the handles. The doors leading to the master closet, washer and dryer and ceiling all had stains on them. We were only their 3 nights but It really needs some work.
The neighbors are bored, they complain about the music during the day, the air conditioning in the house does not cool well, the house has no light in the front
It is really unfortunate that the photos on the VRBO site make this property look nice. It is anything but. In fact, we called VRBO immediately upon arrival and requested to be placed in another home. While they weren't able to relocate us until the next day, they did relocate us to a much better home (smaller but clean and safe). Here is the laundry list of things that were wrong with the house: Smelled like mold, carpets and walls were filthy, heavy ceiling vent was falling out of the ceiling (dangerous), fireplace had a sign that said "do not use" likely because it was almost falling out of the wall, kitchen was tiny and looks nothing like the photos, washer and dryer were rusted through and dirty, bathroom sinks were clogged and standing water was sitting in them, bathroom shower was missing part of the plumbing (could see straight through to the pipes), bathroom doors were bi-fold wood with slats that you could see right through so no privacy, enclosed pool is a joke as all of the screens were shredded and orange construction tape up in there place, TVs were all decades old, towels were dirty, the veranda area was covered in overgrown foliage and unusable. The best part was the room set-up (a joke). It took us 25 minutes to find the 4th bedroom and we found it only after going back to the VRBO site and re-looking at the photos of this house. It is basically through another small bi-fold door that looks like a linen closet in the master bedroom. So whomever sleeps in that room has to walk through the master bedroom and bathroom to get there. This house should not even be on VRBO as it represents them very poorly. The only positive thing about this house is the location as it is within walking distance of downtown Venice. Even so, my recommendation is "don't waste your money."
