There is a Swedish proverb that says “life without love is like a year without summer”. After your visit to “Just Add Sun” at 519 Seascape, you might say “a year without summer, is like a vacation without renting “Just Add Sun”. It is difficult in words to describe this amazing condominium located near the tip of the Isle of Palms in Wild Dunes Resort. The view is the first stunning aspect of this home.
Located on the top floor of the Seascape Condominiums, “Just Add Sun” features an outdoor living area that has few equals on the Isle of Palms. Your family will spend hours on the outdoor sofa, or eating dinner at the large dining table looking to the northeast as beach goers, dolphins and kite boarders make their way towards you. Inside you will be breathless, as the beauty and attention to detail overwhelm your senses. One of the premier interior decorators in Charleston renovated and decorated this home in 2009. Imported tile flooring, premium carpeting and wonderful bathrooms are just a few of the improvements that separate this condominium from the majority on the Island. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is thoroughly equipped to handle all of your needs during your vacation. The living room is highlighted with a large flat screen television, leather sofa and comfortable seating. Each bedroom has a magnificent king bed, with equally nice bedding and accessories. Please note that the upper king bedroom is a loft overlooking the living area and out towards the ocean.
When it is time to hit the beach, you will first walk by the private pool for the Seascape Community. The ocean views from the pool are tremendous. After crossing a small set of dunes your family will be on the beach within two minutes of leaving the elevator. Wide and clean, the beach at Seascape is very unique in that it takes different forms as the tide rolls in and out. During low tide it can be wonderful for smaller children. Off shore sand bars block wave movement at low tide, making the ocean a perfect spot to walk and swim looking for sand dollars. As the tide rises, traditional breakers role in to suite the older kids looking for a ride on their boogie boards.
The beauty, views and design of “Just Add Sun” will bring your family back year after year. It just will not feel like vacation unless they are staying in “Just Add Sun”.
Features Wild Dunes Resort Club Sports Card! A Sports Card is required to access the Club Swim Center, Club Fitness Room (entry fee), Tennis Center (court fees apply). Access granted to Palm Cove Pool after 3pm and Boardwalk Inn Pool after 4pm with Sports Card.
The Isle of Palms, like all barrier islands, has a dynamic beach near the inlet that separates the island from Dewees Island. The ebb and flow of the changing tides, through the inlet, creates and moves sand bars just off shore. These sandbars will channel waves between them, resulting in the massive buildup of sand along portions of the island where other areas may develop temporary erosional hot spots. These hot spots will feature a sand beach throughout the day outside an hour or so before and after high tide. Where a dry sand beach may be limited in these few areas at high tide, walking either direction will lead to an area where the sandbars have created an expansive beach to enjoy at any tide.

We enjoyed our stay at 519 Seascape. The unit was beautifully decorated and well equipped. There were very nice linens and comfortable mattresses on all the beds. It was was very nice to have three king beds with adjoining baths. Perfect for our family. The beach was absolutely beautiful with a perfect view from this unit. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone and it is only about 20 minutes from Charleston. You can't get much better than this!
Spent a great Christmas and New Year at Seascape. A few things a renter would want to know. The third bedroom is the loft and it is not quite. There is no dining area, it is on the balcony, which is nice weather permitting. The plasma screen should be replaced. We had issues with the dishwasher, replaced in two days which was good and had a leaking clothes washer. Property management was on top of both. The condo is very comfortable, clean with nice furnishings, bedding, kitchen supplies etc. no coffee filters, I left some. I would not suggest for more than six. The sofa bed is a twin in one of the bedrooms. You can't beat the ocean front layout of Seascape. I would rent again but with only 2 couples.
We had a great long weekend with 3 couples. We all had our own king room with our own bathroom. the porch was very nice to sit and enjoy the perfect view. fyi the 3rd bedroom is in an open loft above the living area.... can't see up but it is open and a little less private. We would return to this property.
We have stayed at Seascape for years but this is our first time in #519. It was super nice The bedrooms all had king size beds and tvs. My kids loved relaxing in there with their friends.
The porch had great furniture and was great for meals and reading.
Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. We absolutely loved the property especially the beach! We had everything we needed for a carefree and enjoyable vacation. I just can't say enough. Probably one the best properties.
This condo was amazing. It was furnished very nicely and the view was wonderful. The 3 king beds met our needs perfectly. I would love to stay here again.
We went with two other couples. The beds were comfy, the living room was spacious enough to sit around the coffee table and play games, and the porch was a lovely place for morning coffee. The condo was so conveniently located right on the beach for evening walks.
I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo upon arrival. The kitchen had only four bowls, which a little inconvenient at breakfast with six people. Other than that, I would have given it five stars. I would definitely recommend this unit.
