Surrounded by nature in the heart of the Verdicchio wine region, our little paradise is in one of the most relaxing and versatile regions of Italy, the Marche. You can expect undiscovered quaint places, free from the hustle and bustle, lovely hilly landscapes, ideal for hiking, and the idyllic ambience of the original Italy with the best food and drink at affordable prices. Surrounded by greenery yet easy and quick to reach. The nearest town Cupramontana, only a few kilometers away, is a pretty medieval town with a lot of original charm. The sea to the beautiful beaches of Conero is only a good half hour; The journey to the nature reserve of the Sibillini mountains is hardly longer, perfect for climbing or mountain biking.
The spectacular Grotto of Frasassi, one of the world's most fascinating cave complexes, is a day trip, as well as the charming classic cities of Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio with their many cultural treasures.

Our holiday complex is the perfect base to experience all this and more.

Il Cantinone was built over 100 years ago and used as a winery for the surrounding winemakers. At the turn of the millennium, the estate, which has since fallen into ruin, was rebuilt in a very time-consuming and modern way. Today we can offer 2 fully equipped and luxuriously furnished apartments, a spacious and well equipped barbecue area and a spacious sun terrace with plenty of loungers and umbrellas and of course a great swimming pool!

Mooie rustige accommodatie op een goed bereikbare locatie op amper 25 minuten rijden van het vliegveld. Er loopt inderdaad een doorgaande weg langs het appartement maar hier hadden we geen last van, wij vonden het fijn dat het zo centraal was gekregen.Mooi aangelegde tuin met een groot zwembad, ligbedden en aangenaam warm water. Gas en houtskool BBQ aanwezig. Wij verbleven in een 2 persoons appartement met een trap naar beneden (onder het huis maar vanaf de voorzijde op straatniveau) We hadden hier een eigen terras waar een schaduwdoek boven was gehangen. Een keuken/kamer, aparte slaapkamer en badkamer met wastafel, douche, wc en bidet. Handdoeken zijn aanwezig (strand- zwem-handdoek zelf meenemen) Het bed was prima, de kledingkasten roken een beetje muf, maar dat hoort er bij, ha ha. Boven ons was nog een tweede appartement, maar wij hadden de accommodatie het grootste gedeelte van de tijd voor ons alleen.Alles wordt goed onderhouden door de vriendelijke hosts die je op verzoek graag van tips voor het verkennen van de prachtige omgeving voorzien en indien gewenst restaurant reserveringen voor je maken.Prima uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen, uitstapjes naar pittoreske dorpjes of grotere steden en naar stranden met mooie baaitjes (ongeveer een half uurtje rijden)
Accommodatie vanuit de straatzijde. Links van de groene deur is het appartement waar wij (beneden) verbleven.
Achter het muurtje met de groene deur was ons omheinde prive terras.
Heerlijk zwembad met aangename temperatuur waar ik 's ochtend vroeg al baantjes ging trekken. Hierachter zie je aan de zijkant van het gebouw het schaduwdoek wat ons prive terras was.
