Can’t begin to articulate how incredible our stay was at Ridgeview Manor. The house is somehow even more stunning in person. Our trip included 8 adults and 9 of our kids and we never ran out of space. Stunning views, super comfy beds, very homey and safe. Our only regret was not booking more nights Should also note how personable/communicative James is,I left behind a very sentimental watch after our stay and the owner maintenance worked together to locate it and help me get it back.

Great house, great host. Plenty of room to spread out for 17 people. Used the pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, went hiking, watched movies, played pool, played yard games. There was always something to do for everyone and if there were any questions, James was always quick to answer. Will be staying again when we return to the mountains.

The house is amazing, and we had a fantastic week all together. The listing is accurate, and the host is responsive and helpful. Just make sure you follow their driving directions - Google Maps took us a different way, and we had to do some backtracking. We look forward to staying again!

The property was truly lovely! The views were amazing from every side! The size of the house allowed everyone to have their own space, yet the dining room, and various sitting rooms, pool, and porches allowed the whole family to gather comfortably! One did not need to leave the house to something to do, or more importantly find peace and relaxation! For times when we did want to see the area, there was Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, and Boone nearby. We enjoyed visiting the shops and finding some really excellent restaurants. But more importantly, the owner was always accessible when we had questions or problems. This was one of the best vacations that we have ever taken! Our whole extended family (there were 10 of us) enjoyed itI would highly recommend this property for all with the possible exception of seniors who might have difficultly navigating the lovely staircase.

Absolutely Beautiful

Honestly the photos don’t do the house justice. The view, the pool, the kitchen, and all the bedrooms were exceptional. It feels very luxe. There were even bathrobes for everyone our party. We had a wonderful visit. James was AMAZING and so accommodating. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone with a large group for a family or friend’s getaway.

Family Reunion with 3 generations (ages 87-4)

This house was perfect for our large family
enough space for everyone to spread out and have privacy or come together in the large great room. We enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, sauna, putting green, theater and billard room. We grilled and had a fire in the pit at night. We hiked to the swimming hole and waterfall through virgin forests. The large dining room table and porch was ample room for meals. James was an amazing host.

Ridgeview Manor Weekend Stay

I stayed at the location with several other friends! We enjoyed our stay and had incredible weather. The manor is very luxurious and has plenty of things to do on the property! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna! I would highly recommend it! The kitchen is very big and allows for everyone to enjoy it. The only issues we had were related to maintenance of the lawn that was happening during our stay and some small items that were missing that were listed as working. The owner was very responsive and accommodating to our requests throughout our stay.

Best vacation house ever

Our stay at the Ridgeview Manor was incredible. We expected it to be wonderful based on the photos online but it blew us away. From the natural beauty that surrounds the house to the details that the owners put into making this home feel like a 5 star resort. We had people of all ages from 3 - 60 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. They had plenty of games, floats, cooking utensils, microwaves and refrigerators on every floor, every bathroom was filled with soaps and toilet paper, and they had specific details to all surrounding hikes. The owner was so kind and was quick to answer if we ever had a question. The beauty, the ease and the serenity make you never want to leave! We couldn't recommend this more. It exceeded all expectations and we are already planning our next vacation to Ridgeview Manor !

Amazing House!

The house and setting were both absolutely beautiful. Very clean and well-maintained, furniture and finishings all high-end and super comfortable. For our group of 12 adults/teens (plus kids), everyone had more than enough personal space and their own area to retreat to
 could have easily added another family of 4 before space would have become even a slight issue. Highlights for us were the amazing outdoor pool, the billiard room, and the local nature—including several black bears right off the porch! The owner was polite and prompt/clear in all communications. He even sent a few surprise gifts during our stay. Overall, a wonderful trip and one our extended family will remember forever.

50th anniversary celebration

This was a perfect setting for celebrating with my kids and grandchildren. We enjoyed all the amenities in the house and the beautiful view we were greeted with each day. Beautiful property and grounds. Spacious and accommodated 13 adults and 2 children well. Superficially clean. Appears to be complex and expensive to maintain based on the amount of deferred maintenance present. Built in 2000 and now with aging HVAC, plumbing and finishes. We enjoyed our stay but do not expect the grand property the photos suggest.

Perfect Week

What a wonderful property. Home is beautiful with tons of room. Everything is top of the line. This was our annual family vacation that we take once a year. There were 16 of us this time and we loved the pool and the view. Perfect setting to sit on the covered porch with a refreshing drink. We loved our North Carolina vacay! The lemon cake that was there for us when we arrived was a hit with the family. Also a surprise at our door one morning was delish
chocolate chip scones. Thanks so much.

Wonderful Christmas

Twelve of my family met at Ridgeview to enjoy Christmas together. When we arrived, there was a lighted tree waiting for us and the kitchen island was full of cakes, pies, cookies and other delectables. The kitchen was large enough for 5 cooks and we had a great time creating meals. The home is beautiful, well appointed, and made it feel like we were at home. The grounds are lovely as well. Ample parking for the 7 cars we had. I highly recommend Ridgeview Manor for a special reunion location. The Host checked in every other day by text just to make sure that we did not need anything.

Stunning property

Our group of 14 had a wonderful stay here at Ridgeview Manor to celebrate our parent's 60th wedding anniversary! The rooms and beds and bathroom heated floors are all amazing! We loved being able to spread out and still all sit together at the farm table for dinner. Kitchen fully stocked - made use of all of the fun! Played pool and bocce, used the hot tub, movie room, firepit and sauna. It sits at top of Heavenly Mountain and has amazing views! So no quick trip to grocery store or out for pizza! We loved our stay and would consider coming back. Loved Boone and Blowing Rock towns. Even played pickleball at the Watauga County Rec center (gorgeous!) about 20 min drive down the mountain !!

Mountain Friends Reunion

We had an absolute blast at this beautiful home fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. With a large group it’s hard to find properties that can fit us all together comfortably but this house was just that. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and large outdoor space. It was also beautifully decorated outside for fall with pumpkins and mums, so perfect. Inside we were so pleased with the amount of dishes, silverware, and cooking/baking supplies. We cooked almost every meal there with ease. Thank you for such a lovely property!
