The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable, located in a quiet gated community.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the house and spend most of our time outside on the deck enjoying the beautiful views during the day and the outdoor fireplace at night. The house was beautiful and spacious allowing all the guests their own privacy in a comfortable way...

We took our canoes out one day ( ten minute ride) and went zip lining and whitewater rafting in Bryson City ( 45 min ride). We did not take advantage of the pool by the clubhouse...

I can certainly recommend this rental and will definitely return in the future, the fall colors must be spectacular!

Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We were there for the eclipse and could not have been more pleased with the entire experience!! From the time we made the reservation way back in June until we checked out last Tuesday...everything was top notch!

The house is absolutely spotless!! It had more than enough room for the 5 of us (all adults) to be together when we wanted to be and alone when we wanted to be.

The view from the entire back side of the house...spectacular!! If we weren't out exploring, we were on the back deck enjoying the fresh air and long range view.

We took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen and prepared all meals at the house. If anyone reading this review actually likes to cook on vacation (weird, I know!), the kitchen actually has decent knives, pots, and pans...which seems to be very rare based on the rentals where we've stayed.

The house is at the top of the mountain...and the pool/creek are at the bottom...so yes, as other reviews have stated, it's a very steep climb back up to the house if you're on foot. But...the view from the house is SO worth it...!!! Just drive down if the climb back up is concerning...

The owner, Andy, was a pleasure to work with through the entire process...from reservation to check out! He was super responsive and more than willing to help with anything we asked about. Great guy!

If you're considering this house...just do it! You won't regret it!!!

Perfect Place

  • 5 of 5

This home is beautiful and easy to get to. We have rented it twice now (winter and summer). Everything is clean and well taken care of. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space, just the right size for us.

Stunning home!! An absolutely perfect place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We guarantee if you stay at this home you will be pleased!! We stayed last week for 5 days and 4 nights and wish we would have booked it longer! All of the house is truly amazing... great kitchen for entertaining, comfy furniture and beds, meticulous bathrooms and laundry room, and plenty of space to enjoy friends and family. Our favorite place by far was the back porch that overlooked a breath-taking view of the mountains. The outdoor furniture was so comfortable... Add a cup of coffee and the cool morning air.... Perfection!! I can not give enough kuddos about this home!! We are already trying to plan on how we can go back this fall... Lol! Thank you Andy and family for everything!! You have a gem and we feel blessed to have found it!!

Pictures don't do it justice! Beautiful, spacious and comfy.

We just left this great rental. The house was very, very nice, with beautiful details, lots of room, comfortable beds and great views. We especially loved the porch furniture and outside fireplace. Andrew was very nice and booking was easy. The kitchen was nice and had a lot of cookware. They had pool towels and even a cooler in the closet. Hand soap, laundry soap, dish soaps, t paper, and paper towels were provided as were spices. Beds, pillows and outdoor furniture were very comfortable and worth mentioning twice. Had a fire in the outside fireplace every night. I will mention that the river is far enough away that it is necessary to drive because of the very, very steep roads and distance from house. My college kids enjoyed fishing in the river but weren't lucky enough to catch any fish. We enjoyed the wonderful club house and hot tub but the weather was to cool to get in the cool pool water. The pool looks amazing but we weren't brave enough to get in. Very lovely, quiet and peaceful gated neighborhood. Club house is also down steep hill so you will want to drive to pool and hot tub. Would highly recommended! Would love to go back. Make sure you take a hairdryer. Forgot to ask if it was provided and had vacation hair don't care hair all week. Also, take your shampoos and body wash. Everything else provided including the trash bags and some aluminum foil. Just get your groceries and your all set. This was one of the largest and prettiest VRBO rentals we have gotten. The pictures do not show off how big and nice the home is. The porch was most amazing. We went to many waterfalls, Antique stores and went on a trail ride with Saddle Up. We drove to many of the nearby towns. We cooked every night in the cabin and took picnic lunches with us every day while out exploring. We found no cleaning supplies and couldn't properly clean stove everyday but did the best we could. Don't hesitate to stay here. I have never slept better in a rental. Just don't plan on your kids being close by at the river because it is farther than the description makes it sound. Great for older kids that don't need watching because river is beautiful and has quite a current. I now want a day bed on my porch after laying on the one at this cabin. I could have slept outside it was so comfy. Andrew, Thanks for sharing your great place with us and being so easy to book with. We had a great time and it was a georgeous home away from home. We loved it!
