Lovely, small, very quiet, clean cabin next to the lake. We were there in September, and this was just right for the two of us. The bed was were very comfortable. (For people with physical limitations it might be difficult to get in and out of due to no space to walk along the sides.) Good shower and comfortable lounging area and nice porch. A few short, beautiful trails through the woods were a nice bonus. We would stay there again if we re-visit the area in the future. Thank you!

Perfect getaway cabin

The property is perfect and situated right at Silver Lake. The cabin is just the right size, with comfy furniture, beds with all the amenities we needed. We will be making this our #1 go to for some time away.

Nice little spot for weekend ski trip.

The place was ideal for a weekend ski trip with my son and my daughter's partner. Erik was very helpful and had great insights about Mount Baker and the surrounding towns. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location for a winter vacation

We are from Texas and came to Mt. Baker to avoid the chairlift lines and, honestly the thousands of other Texans who flock to Colorado each December. This was the perfect getaway location. We really enjoyed our time here.

Worked perfectly for us to access to lake to paddleboard or kayak. Beautiful lake view and place to relax. Within 45 min of alpine hiking at Artist Point/Mt. Baker/Mt. Shuksan.Wonderful host family - kind and helpful and gave us our space.

Cabin was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Comfortably large enough for two to four people. The view was incredible. The hosts were communicative and friendly and very hospitable. Would stay again.

peaceful stay

We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The TV is old and blurry, so bring some books or ipad. It is very quiet and peaceful, and the hosts leave you alone. We would stay here again for sure.

Quaint Cabin on Peaceful Lake

I went here with my wife for a 3 day weekend to explore Mount Baker area. The place was very clean, easy to check in and had everything we needed. Very enjoyable and I recommend.

Truly beautiful

The location of this VRBO was excellent for our stay. The cabin was small but was cute and met our expectations. The location was beautiful. I would strongly recommend this property. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

The cabin is in addition off the garage. It is very rustic, and we could see the water from the porch. The owner lives in an attached house right on the water. The bed was comfortable. There were a lot of gnats in the cabin the whole time we were there.

Cozy Cabin-Great Location

We loved our stay in this cozy clean cabin. I loved sitting on the porch looking at the beautiful lake. The location is perfect for what we wanted to do. And so close to the border if you plan on going. The hosts were great and answered my questions with kindness ( even a couple photos). And made sure we were comfortable and had anything we needed. Would like to stay again.

Maple Falls cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the lake cabin at Maple Falls. We skied one day at Mt. Baker but couldn't continue due to rain and warmer temperatures. So instead we hiked along Nooksack River and took a day trip to Vancouver. The cabin was an excellent base for our trip

Adorable cabin attached to the wonderful, gracious, friendly host’s home on Silver Lake. Squeeky clean and comfortable. Mini kitchen with all the things needed to cook. Nice and cool despite August heat wave. Fireplace, TV and fast WiFi. Newer floors and couch. Perfect getaway!We enjoyed paddling on the lake and hiking at Artist Point. Loved everything about our stay here.

Great getaway cabin

Wow … the lake front scenery is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The cabin is cozy and very comfortable … and spotless. And sitting on the front porch in the morning was great … we couldn’t have asked for more. We met the owner Erik … he was great … making sure our stay was comfortable. It doesn’t get any better …

Definitely lake life here with direct access to the water for paddling. Easy drive to Mt. Baker, Picture Lake and Nooksak Falls. Quiet, friendly and with everything we needed. Hostess’s were very friendly and asked daily if there was anything we needed. Would return!
