We had a great day at the parole house! It was unique beautifully decorated very warm and friendly. Host did an excellent job of reaching out to us and providing all the information we needed for our stay. We had a great time touring the area by foot and playing a game of miniature golf on the grounds.

Such a quaint and cozy cottage! Beautifully decorated with many interesting books. The back porch was my favorite part… Perfect for sipping coffee in the morning!
Absolutely loved our stay! It was a quiet and cute house that has been preserved with history. Loved sitting and watching outside while having a cup of coffee before starting our daily adventures. It was close to everything.

I have never stayed anywhere that felt more like "home" than Pearl. It was welcoming from the second i walked through the door. If you need a place to be still, reflect and just "be" this is the perfect place. It was good for my soul just to be there.

We are so happy you loved your stay at the Pearl House in Jackson, TN.
Please come back and see us!
A whole lotta Jesus up in this house. A wild man yelling on the streets for hours in the night, scary. A very soft bed. A bathtub meant for you to sit in upright not lay down in. Overall, a very interesting and strangely cultivated vibe.
We loved the place from seeing the pictures and description of it, so for us it was a no brainer and it was available for the dates we wanted. Full marks to Denise who kept us informed all the time and answered any questions we had. On arrival it was better than we ever expected, it was like home from home, charming, comfortable, relaxing and tranquil. Everything you needed was provided, I would have liked a kettle for my mug of tea in the morning but as my future wife said 'Use the microwave"
The setting was ideal far enough away from the Casey Jones museum but within a couple of minutes walk to the "Ol' Country Store" or Dixie cafe if you didn't want to cook, also a Walmart's and various restaurants are within a short drive away. In Jackson there is a good Farmers Market worth visiting and Rusty's TV and Movie Car Museum is worth a visit.
Next to Pearl Cottage is Providence House built in1837 in Trenton(IIRC) and known as Neill House, in 2010 it was dismantled and transported and rebuilt here, where it was used as an events venue. Now sadly it is unoccupied in falling into disrepair which is a crying shame. There is a book in the cottage documenting the move along with a lot of mainly Southern cook books which I enjoyed looking through.
Overall did we enjoy our stay here, yes most definitely, so much my future wife wants to buy it. We will be coming back to stay next year, hopefully with a car, so could see more of Jackson.
