This was our 2nd time visiting the cabin in September and we truly enjoy all the time we spend there. Great recommendation for dinner and close by to downtown Mt. Airy to enjoy window shopping and strollling along Main Street. Would definitely recommend - hosts have always been very helpful and friendly! Hope to stay at the cabin again and again.

The cabin was perfect in every way. It was clean, everything a person needed was there, including the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom. I love coffee first thing in the morning. There were two kinds of coffee makers and a sweet peaceful front porch to enjoy my coffee and the peacefulness of the cabin and its surroundings. The first night there we had our dinner on the side deck of the house; we sat there until after dark enjoying each other's company. The host was so kind and helpful, getting back to me very quickly when I had questions. I highly recommend this host and this cabin. We will be back for sure.Susie and Dickie

This cabin stay was the best vacation my husband and I have had in years. Rick and his wife were so friendly and responsive. We were greeted with goodies for our stay. The cabin is exactly as pictured and on beautiful property. The animals were a pleasure to see and visit. This will be our go-to retreat whenever possible.

Randy Hicks

Randy and Kim Hicks built the cabin in 2006. We have put a lot of love and hard work in the cabin to make it extremely nice, landscaped, and very clean.

It was our dream to have a log cabin so we built it on our farm. We have a lot of people coming through to visit Mount Airy or Mayberry. We have enjoyed meeting the people that have stayed. It has been a blessing to us and the people that have stayed.

This cabin is very peaceful. The animals provide a great atmosphere. You are out of town, but so close to restaurants and shopping areas. You are only about 10 miles from Pilot Mountain State Park.
