Hermosa casa de campo con jardín en la ladera sur con maravillosas vistas del lago de Lucerna, barcos de vapor, tren de cremallera y montañas.
La casa está ubicada en el sendero Rigiweg y Rigibahn, lo que hace posible una variedad de excursiones. A solo 5 minutos del lago de Lucerna, a solo 25 minutos del Rigi.

Terraza orientada al sur con barbacoa.

La ubicación expuesta sobre Vitznau, en la zona agrícola, está libre de automóviles y solo se puede acceder por el tren de cremallera. Los trenes pasan aproximadamente cada hora en ambas direcciones.

Amazing views and Amazing Hist!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view is phenomenal and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had all info we needed. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen as well as the extra spices in hand as we cooked in a few times very well. Highly recommend!!

Cozy Quiet Getaway with Beautiful Scenery

Our family enjoyed staying on this mountainside cabin overlooking Lake Lucerne. Beautiful boat trip from downtown Lucerne to experience city life and nice to come back and wind down in quiet mountainside just below the summit of Mount Rigi. Host was very hospitable with lots of tips and recommendations for the local area.

The view was amazing and the ability to travel via the Rigi Bahn network all over the mountain was spectacular. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Only problem was we wanted to stay longer! Unforgettable vacation.

We visited this amazing Vitznau mountain property for our summer family vacation. We felt relaxed and ready to adventure from the moment we stepped in the door. The views and the access to hiking, swimming, and general exploration of the Lake Lucerne area was perfect.Navigating the trains, ferry, and buses to get around, was easy and options for adventure, food, relaxation, and more was everywhere.The host was also extremely informative, responsive and even took time to meet with us while we were there.Switzerland was a dream trip and this property helped to make it come true.

Enjoyed our stay in the Rigi mountains

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in the quiet village of Mittlerschwanden situated on the Rigi mountains with million dollar views. Accessibility to the cabin is dependent on Rigibahn since this is a car free village, therefore, please plan your daily excursions carefully unless you want to hike 3000 ft. in the middle of the night in pitch dark. We had to do it one evening due to missed trains and it was quite an experience. You’ll have a wonderful time here otherwise and encourage you to experience the serenity of the Rigi mountains!

Amazing and postcard beautiful

From getting off the train to taking the boat ride over to Vitznau, then another train up one stop to our lovely Villa, this was one of the best and most beautiful vacations ever. The owner is always available via internet and even came by to meet us and deliver some fresh eggs. The view of Lake Luzern from our balcony was stunning. If you love the mountains and lake views, this is a must. If you enjoy boats, trains and hiking, this is the spot. We highly recommend staying here!!!! 5++ Stars!

Amazing View and Great for Toddler

The view of Vitznau, Lake Lucerne, the Alps, and trains can't be beat. Lothar was an excellent host. The home was perfect for our family, including our 18 month old. We grilled, hiked, and explored Mt. Rigi everyday. We will definitely consider returning in the future! Our only suggestions are to upgrade the bedroom pillows, comforters, and shower head. Thanks Lothar!

Thank you for your review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and would be pleased to host you again! Pillow and comforter preferences are individual preferences. We have a choice of different pillows and comforters available. Just message me in case you need an other one. The house is in some parts still 70ties retro original. Essentials such as heating, windows, doors, kitchen are upgraded. We keep the originals (such as the shower-head) as long it is in a good shape and functional. It does not make a rainbow shower, but has good water pressure and creates an authentic 70ties look and feel which makes it special.

Early Summer trip

This property was perfect for our family! We have 6 total and it had enough room for us. The views off the balcony are something none of us will ever forget! Lothar was very communicative and I never had to wait long for an answer to a question. The house truly is only accessible by train, so you just need to plan your days according to the train schedule, which runs on average every hour. We loved visiting both towns at the base of Rigi Mtn., Weggins and Vitznau. Switzerland is a beautiful country, with amazing people! We never felt unsafe or nervous (in fact, we felt much safer there than our home). Would definitely recommend a visit and a stay at Lothar’s beautiful home!

This was a fantastic experience! The host Lothar was great and helped to make this a very pleasant experience. The house is exactly as described. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The house was well appointed and had everything needed for my family to enjoy meals and time together. Very quiet and restful location. Easy access from the RIgibahn. Fantastic hiking on Mount Rigi. Easy access to Lucerne. Depending on how long you stay and what you plan to do on the mountain, take time to review the various passes for Rigibahn and cable car access. Would definitely love to visit again!

Das Haus von 1965 ist technisch modern ausgestattet, Küche, Küchengeräte, Fenster, Haustür, Heizung, Internet, TV, Terrasse sind neu oder umfassend renoviert. Grüsse Nicole & Lothar

genialer Aufenthalt

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich. Nach jedem unserer Ausflüge zog es uns wie magisch wieder zu unserer Terrasse. Lothar war immer irgendwie erreichbar und hat uns mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt (auch schon vor der Anreise). Sehr gerne wieder!!

Paradise!

This was my first experience with HomeAway, I usually use that other website, and it was a wonderful trip. Lothar is an incredible host. We unfortunately arrived late, due to work, and Lothar met us and led us up the mountain to the house. It is IMPERATIVE to get there before the last train leaves the village because that hike up the mountain is intense. I do feel that Lothar adequately prepared us for the hike, and I am so thankful for him meeting us there to take us up. He is quick to respond to messages and he has a wealth of tourist information on things to see and do in the area. Lothar was so very welcoming, the place is in a great location, and the views are breathtaking! The pictures really don't do it justice. The views are truly priceless. Thank you, Lothar for allowing us to stay at your place! It made this birthday one that I'll never forget! I would definitely recommend staying at his place.
