We only stayed for a quick one night getaway but the home was beautiful, clean, and easy to get to. It would have been nice to have been able to access the river to put our feet in, but the view was gorgeous just the same.
Took a much needed solo trip, and this place did not disappoint. The cabin is so relaxing and quaint. The sound of the moving water was so therapeutic. Will visit again!
We loved this cabin. Right on the creek so it was so relaxing. Close to several hiking spots. Also drove a tank and shot machine guns.
Host thought of everything.
My husband and I stayed for our anniversary. We stayed for the weekend. This quaint little cabin was a piece of Heaven nestled right creek side. It was close to so many things...very convenient. It had everything we needed and the hardest things was leaving! We will definitely be renting this cabin again and bring our daughter next time and stay longer!
Just what we wanted. A cabin in Blue Ridge, GA, by a river with nobody around. The only problem is that is rained most of the time, but you cant predict that, so it was ok. Very nice cabin.

Thank you for staying with us. Sorry the weather wasn't the best. It really can be unpredictable in the mountains, but I'm very glad you enjoyed your vacation!
I loved the peaceful spot on the porch overlooking the creek!
The quaintly decorated cabin is tucked into a sweet spot at the edge of a forest. We saw numerous birds, wild turkeys, and a deer nearby. A curious hummingbird even visited us on the deck!
I’d love to return for a longer stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very nice and had everything we wanted and needed. My only concern was the driveway. It was especially difficult after bad weather one night, and I was in a truck. Other than that, everything was wonderful!
We are originally from Florida and Blueridge . My son graduated from his marine MOS school.
And wanted to come back to Blueridge to spend his leave with his friends and family. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin on Fightingtown Creek. It was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.
Thank you Amanda for opening up your place for us!

I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for being such a great guest and I hope your son enjoyed his leave in Blue Ridge.
It exceeded our expectations sitting on the patio listening to the water was so peaceful. The cabin was amazing with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed the hot shower after a long day of traveling. The cabin was very secluded and easy to get to. The driveway made me nervous as it was very steep. Highly recommend this place. The host was quick to respond. 10 out of 10. I plan to book this place again in the future.

Thank you so much. I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay!
This was our first visit to northern Georgia. Beautiful area and so clean. The home is cozy and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need. Bed was comfy and shower was on point! The first trip down the driveway is a nail bitter but after once it's no problem! The family room and deck offer a beautiful view. The river is so inviting but very difficult to get to. I am sure there are some hungry trout in there...bring your chest waders and binoculars to really enjoy the fishing and mountain view. We had a lovely time enjoying our time at the cabin and the area in general. Very relaxing.
This property was perfect and exactly as listed. It was very very clean and beautifuly decorated. It has an airy feel for a cabin in the woods. Very peaceful surroundings with the water running by. We couldn’t have loved sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs any more. Hearing the water run over rocks was a wonderful sound. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped even with an Instant pot and crockpot as well as nice cookware. Amanda was very responsive to questions by message. Restaurants that we tried in McCaysville and Blue Ridge were outstanding. The gravel drive down to cabin is steep but was not a problem. Steps from the parking area to cabin were a bit steep but well lit and sturdy. Fire pit was located right by the stream. All in all a perfect fall getaway!
We booked this cabin for a Fathers Day Getaway! Originally we booked Saturday- Monday. Last minter decided to add an additional night. The owner was beyond easy to add that to our reservation. Upon arrival everything was perfect! The inside of the cabin was flawless and beautiful!! Everything was perfectly in place and I had no worries of my four children messing things up. VERY family friendly. We were very disappointed in the access to the river. Very steep CLIMB down with broken rocks, sharp edges and metal rods sticking out of the ground. There was a rope to hold onto but not easy AT ALL for the kids much less the adults to get in and out. That was a major downfall. We fished, tubed and played in the river regardless of the difficulty getting in and out. The outside of the cabin could use some cleaning up. Brush all over the porch, spider webs all over the outside of the house. This didn’t hinder our stay, just an honest review! It was very simple to check out and we felt like if we needed ANYTHING that the owner would be quick to make it right. We will for sure be back!
