What a fun house! We brought out Youth Group to Omaha for a mission trip and this house was amazing! We played games, did Bible studies, ate s'mores and so much more!
We were in Omaha for a family trip that included 4 children. The house was fun with lots of things to keep the kids entertained and a nice backyard for some water play. We went to the Omaha Zoo 2 days and loved our time there!! One evening we went to downtown Omaha and we had dinner a very nice experience. The host was very responsive to questions we had. Very happy with our stay at this home.
Nice place for family to stay and located near attractions. Kids loved the arcade area and back yard Would recommend

Overall, we had a nice stay, but there are a few things future guests should know. The photos on the listing appear to be outdated, so the home doesn’t look exactly as advertised. It was very well equipped for families with young children, with high chairs, booster seats, and cribs available. However, many of the toys and games were broken or missing pieces. The game room could use some attention. Most of the ping pong paddles were damaged, and there were only a few usable balls. The pool table is older and noticeably out of level. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and other essentials, but the cabinets and drawers could use some organizing. We also had intermittent issues with the dishwasher not completing its cycle because the soap dispenser failed to open. The bunk room was a great feature. For larger groups, though, the 2½ bathrooms may feel limiting, especially since the basement bathroom is very small. The location was convenient and within a short drive of both the zoo and the Old Market area, which made sightseeing easy.
We hosted the groom and his friends here and they had a fabulous time! The hangout basement was a huge hit! The rooms were clean and it was so spacious
The layout took a minute to figure out, but once we did it was great! Lots of room to spread out and relax. The game room was the big hit for the kids and the big kids. The kids loved sleeping in the space room. We didn’t use the outside area much because it was pretty hot out, but thankful there was a fenced in back yard!
Was a really cool old home that had many cool updates to make a real unique property. It worked great for the family thanksgiving and had plenty of room for the kids to play!
This was a great spot for our family reunion in Omaha. The kids appreciated the arcade games and space to play in the basement as well as the backyard. There was space to spread out as well for just hanging out together. It wasn’t far from the Henry Doorly Zoo. Any time we had a question we got a quick response!

Disliked: Cleanliness
Disappointing upkeep and cleanliness—needs major attentionWe booked this house for a big family trip based on the space and promised entertainment, but the overall upkeep was a massive disappointment. The house was not properly cleaned: the stairs and furniture were thick with dust, the carpets were filthy, and there was old dirt under the couches. Worse, the blankets and cushions were dirty and smelled bad, and we even found a dirty spoon in a closet.Beyond cleanliness, maintenance is severely lacking. Some fans did not work, remote controls were missing, and although there are plenty of games and toys for entertainment, many were incomplete and not organized. The host was polite and offered a mid-trip reclean, but since we were already unpacked and settled with our belongings, having a crew come in wasn't feasible or convenient. We sent video proof of all these issues upon checkout. The house has great potential and space, but it desperately needs a deep clean, organizational overhaul, and proper maintenance
Very comfortable. Out but very well outfitted with supplies and lots of bedrooms.lets and switches and remotes a little confusing and some lights not working.
Great downstairs room for gaming. We stayed 2 nights and drove to the Cornhuskers game. Firepit outside. Plenty of places on Maple street to go for eats and drinks. (Total Wine).
The Parker Street property was better than we imagined. Tons of room, lots of beds and a super fun playroom with everything the little ones loved (big ones too)! Thank you Meghan for your help every step of the way. Hope to rent again.
This house is huge! We stayed with 9 adults and 7 kids for Thanksgiving and family events. The arcade game room was a massive hit with the kids; the kitchen had everything to cook a great Thanksgiving dinner, and the rooms were big enough to accommodate everyone. It was too cold to use the backyard amenities, but they were nice too! Meghan was responsive to every question as well! Highly recommend this place for a large family gathering,
I brought 22 of my family members ranging in ages between 2-50 years old. The house was even better than the pictures and so much more spacious than we expected. The kids had so much fun in the game room that they didn’t want to leave the house ! We will definitely be back 😊
Enjoyed a four night stay at “The Good Life” with my family of 21. Grandchildren age 3-17 all enjoyed the arcades in the basement . Plenty of space and rooms to gather. I gave a four star for cleanliness because found some crackers and a drink glass under living room couch from previous group. Also had to contact host for more dishwashing soap. In all it was a great place to have our Christmas celebration. 2 pretty Christmas trees and cute decor. Also went ice skating at Grover Ice Rink and went to Lauritzen Gardens “Bright Night”. This house is great for a large family gathering.
We gathered from all over the country for a family reunion. Luckily, some families were local and could go home at night (with infant) or to gain another queen bed (it's difficult to visualize all sleeping arrangements until you arrive—and some didn't want to share rooms, etc. )
The bunk beds are up a second level and more remote. But, all ages of children (2-10) wanted to try a 'sleep over' there. We had to do some re-arranging of mattresses/beds so no one would fall down stairs or out of a top bunk. Only one child awoke at 3 a.m. looking for M & D at the other side of the house so, an aunty stepped in to carry him there. Totally expected for such an adventure!
We loved sitting out in the back yard in the evening at the chiminea telling family stories, sipping wine, making s'mores with all the kids. And while one group went to 'Top Golf' the rest stayed at the house and face painted, played in spray/baby pool, slip and slide, chased around with squirt guns, etc.
We prepared three big dinners and breakfasts. The way to make that work, of course, is to arrive in OMA a day early and go to Costco (3) times for non-perishables and then early before check in with cooler pick up perishables. It took planning and a few trips for ice, plastic ware, H2O, etc filled in the gaps.
Everyone had fun and the kids did not want to leave their cousins. My 4 year old granddaughter (from San Luis Obispo, CA) said, "Nana, this is SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!" That made all the effort worth while!
