This place was perfect—clean, cozy, and just steps from Commercial Street while still feeling quiet and private. We loved hanging out on the porch in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings with a glass of wine. Michael was a great host, easy to reach and really thoughtful, which made everything feel effortless.
The property was great, very quiet while still being right in the middle of everything! The owner was great to work with, very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back!

Everything about the property was even more wonderful than advertised. Michael was gracious, hospitable and answered every question immediately. The space is charming and well-appointed and the location could not be more perfect. We hope to stay here as often as possible.
My wife and I loved the location and the studio. Michael, the host was great and very attentive to all of our needs. The place was clean and well kept. Short walk to Commercial St and within walking distance to all parts of Provincetown. Would definitely stay here again!
Everything about this property was 5 star. Very clean, aesthetically pleasing. The furnishings, the necessities. All was well thought out and available. Loved reading or having a drink out on the porch rockers. All necessary appliances were provided and easy to work. Owner made himself available by phone or text. The gardens were lovely too.

My partner and I were delighted with our accommodation at Michael's. The apartment was perfect for our week long stay. Very comfortable and quiet room, large bathroom, small nook in the entry with frig, toaster oven and microwave, plenty of dishes, utensils for us to have breakfast or lunch there, and the front porch is just wonderful.. nice to sit in a quiet space in rocking chairs in the shade and just relax. Communication with Michael was easy, and we both enjoyed meeting him, and his tenant upstairs. The location was perfect. Nice to have a parking space, and we just left our bikes on the front porch.

The property was just as described. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood with a good sized porch to add to your living space.
The owner knew, as a single woman, I was coming in in the evening and I came to a house with no lighting on and a locked door which was supposed to be unlocked for me. It took several attempts to get a hold of him as I'm waiting alone to get in.
The smoke detector was a base in the ceiling with nothing connected to it.
I reached out to the owner to ask a question about the rental and received an apologetic response over 2 days later after I was well on my way home.

In all the years as a VRBO host, I have never received a negative review. I pride myself on my follow-through and being available to ensure each guests’ comfort, privacy and needs are met.
There was tension from the start when the guest booked her reservation. She was upset over a fee that appeared on her credit card. I had no idea what it was for since the booking is handled through VRBO. I asked the guest to reach out to VRBO so they may explain their charges. The guest messaged me back. I sensed her frustration and worked with her to make it right. I contacted VRBO on her behalf, to resolve the matter. I explained she needed to cancel her reservation and rebook.
The day the guest arrived, I asked my cleaner to leave the door unlocked and to turn the porch light on. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen and I apologized for the oversight. I had been recovering from surgery that week and wasn’t readily available. I relied on my cleaner to prepare for the guests arrival. The guest was irate and made it clear she was not happy. I met with the guest the next morning to apologized again. I provided her with my cell phone and asked she text or call with any questions or concerns.
The guest commented in her review that it took two days to receive a response regarding a question about the rental. The guest left one message on VRBO’s messaging system requesting an air mattress for her guest. To be clear, I provided with my cell number the morning after she arrived and specifically asked her to call or text me with any questions or concerns. I also live on the property so I can be easily reached. I use VRBOs messaging App to communicate with guests prior to check in. At no point did I receive a call, text or even a knock on my door.
I understand the guest’s initial frustration. What happened upon her arrival shouldn’t have happened. I take responsibility for that. However, I do not appreciate her representation of me beyond the moment of her arrival. Had the guest contacted me by text, or called me as I requested, she would have received an immediate answer.
The apartment served as my housing for a weeklong writing workshop at the Fine Arts Work Center (FAWC) It is perfectly situated on the West End: just up and over Bradford Street, a quick and easy walk to Commercial Street and all it has to offer, and only an 11-minute hike to FAWC.Everything is exactly as presented: clean, tastefully appointed, and outfitted with everything you need. You’ll find a little pantry with toaster oven microwave, and small fridge, ample kitchen ware, paper towels, and dish towels, as well as a small coffeemaker and all the supplies. The bathroom is set apart from the bedroom by a small hallway and, like the pantry and bedroom, is amply supplied, in this case with fluffy towels and fragrant soaps. And the bedroom is big enough to accommodate a queen bed, 2 small clamshell chairs, with side table and table lamp, a small closet and dresser. Very comfortable bed and linens. Beautiful hardwood floors. Three windows with blinds that are easy to manipulate for maximum privacy or to open up to let the fresh salt air and sunshine in. There’s a fan and a split AC unit so you’ve got options for cooling the place (and it cools down quickly) on hotter days. The covered porch is large, furnished with 2 Adirondack chairs of a modern design (easier to get in and out of), and a small table. There’s also an electrical outlet on the porch and a porch light. It really serves as a living room.Michael is an attentive and gracious host. No one does it better.
Michael was amazing! He was welcoming and made us feel right at home. He was a wonderful host and even gave suggestions on places to eat and events to see. We are looking to forward to staying again soon!
I had a wonderful week staying at this rental. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the space had everything I needed. There were some issues with the Ac but luckily it was not a warm week. Michael dropped of a fan that was all I needed. I look forward to staying again.
The place was accurate as described/in the photos. It was conveniently located near commercial street. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Michael was a great host! We’d definitely stay again.
Michael was a great host. The place was perfect for me. The location was awesome. A half a block from Bradford and 1.5 blocks from Commercial. A quiet neighborhood, with very little traffic. The porch was a BIG plus!! The bed was super comfortable. Everything was clean and in working order. There was plenty of space. The bathroom was surprisingly large for a studio. I had all I needed for a perfect little getaway. Thank you!!
Very comfortable bed and good shower. Porch is a great place to hang out. Michael is easy to contact and responsive. My only word of caution is the parking spot is tight if you have a big vehicle. My truck just squeezed in.
If you’re coming to ptown and looking a place to stay for a single or couple, I highly recommend and will stay again on my next visit. Michael is a great host and the unit is very clean and a lot attention to detail. Great location. Pictures are accurate and wasn’t disappointed.
Michael was absolutely lovely. Attentive, but not invasive. The property is charming and comfortable, and the location is spectacular. I will absolutely be back. Favorite place I’ve ever stayed in Ptown

Location, Location, Location!
Absolutely perfect location for us! We could be in all the hub-bub of Commercial Street in a flash and out in a flash to enjoy the peace and quiet of our own front porch.
Walk in the other direction on Court Street and you will find Stop n Shop and a liquor store.
There to is a bike rental and just up from it Chachi a great place for breakfast (try the Mexican Omelette and the French Toast with Passion Fruit Sauce).
The Studio is very cozy and comfortable with a nice queen bed and a very nice bathroom with great water pressure.
The off street parking was a major plus!
Michael (the owner) could not have been a nicer guy!
Thank you Michael! We will be back for sure!!!

About the host
Hosted by Michael Perry
I’m a Massachusetts native with travel experience across Europe and Asia. I studied marketing in college and earned a Business Administration degree from Bryant University. I also own and operate a therapeutic massage practice and am a certified Licensed Massage Therapist. My studio is located behind my property.
Why they chose this property
I purchased my property in 2004, which serves as both my primary residence and business location. I also operate a therapeutic massage practice in a detached building on-site, which is quiet, convenient, and easily accessible to my clients. The property is located in a peaceful neighborhood, shared with the Brass Key Guesthouse and Crowne Point Guesthouse.
What makes this property unique
My property offers a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Located centrally in Provincetown, it provides easy access to local attractions without the noise and distractions of the crowds. The studio is an ideal retreat for a couple or solo traveler seeking a comfortable, well-appointed space in a peaceful setting, making it a unique choice for those looking to experience the best of Provincetown.
