After your day of outdoor adventures, retire to comfortable mattresses and rest peacefully.
Tomorrow you can have another adventure and relax and play some games. We rarely use the AC, the fresh mountain breezes are amazing! But, it is there if you need it.
LINENS: Why do we ask you to bring your own linens? To save you money in cleaning costs. There is an option to rent linens, we recommend Pocono Linens. A link is provided in the document you will receive with you booking.
TRASH: Many communities in the Poconos have had to abandon individual house trash removal. The bears love trash. This is mountain living! Doesn't take long to run it to the compactor. It isn't far, it's on Martha's Lane, just check the open times!
Locust Lake Village is a four-season community, while many guests vacation here, some stay and make it their permanent home.
We have 3 main Lakes: Pines Lake, Locust Lake are used for swimming and boating (non motorized). Pines, Locust and East Lake are stocked annually with Bass and Trout, but you'll find perch and sunnies too! Each lake has a beach, picnic area with tables and charcoal grills, horseshoe pits, volleyball nets, playgrounds and bathroom facilities.
Locust Lake also has a pavilion and seasonal snack shack.
Pines Lake has a snack shack and boat rental.
East Lake also has basketball courts.
Tennis Anyone? We have amazing courts with a special surface for quick drying after rain.
The Chalet hosts BBQs and other events. See the website for calendar.
Ski Hill and Sledding Hill: If Mother Nature provides the powder you can slide on either hill.
Pilgrim Lake our little partially hidden lake (pond) is worthy of a chair and a book!
Sledding Anyone? When Mother nature blankets our community we have the BEST sledding hill around! We also have a Bunny Slope with a J bar lift! Do a snow dance!
