Nice farm getaway in a perfect valley

  • 5 of 5

Loved our stay at the farm. It was a perfect stay for my family. My 3 year old loved the animals all around. Friendly ranch dogs, the farm cat, helped feed the chickens and got some eggs. Our hosts were very accommodating hosts that provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Looking forward to going back.

Great relaxing get away

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoyed our stay at Meyer's Ranch and look forward to staying again. It was just what we need and were looking for. We loved the cabin and the location. We especially enjoyed all the details of the cabin inside and out, the wood floor and the tongue and groove wood ceilings. It was very clean, the bed was comfy and it was so nice and peaceful. The view off the porch was delightful. We used the BBQ and ate most of our meals at the cabin which is what we enjoy. Also got a kick out of the resident barnyard animals and wildlife! We got pie in Taylorsville (thanks for the tip; it was delicious!). We also enjoyed the area and did some exploring. Thanks for the most enjoyable stay. Say "Hi" to Bessie and Clancey for us! Magical cabin in the Indian Valley

  • 5 of 5

We spent a wonderful 4 days at the Meyers cabin. The cabin itself was very clean and well equipped with everything one might need. Our hosts, Chris and Christine, were welcoming and answered all of our questions. The views are magnificent and their very friendly cat whom we named "Franklin" would visit us everyday. The cabin itself is surrounded by a fence which adds to the sense of privacy. There is a covered deck along the front of the cabin as well as a patio adjacent to the cabin complete with table and chairs. This was where we would enjoy our morning coffee while admiring the views. My husband enjoyed the tour of the property given by Chris in their gator. Our four blissful days were spent relishing the peace and quiet, reading novels, walking to the onsite reservoir, and catching up on much needed sleep given our hectic schedules in the Bay Area! This is truly a magical place (both the cabin and surrounding area) and my husband and I plan to return!
