This is a 2-bedroom condo on the 1st floor in a modern building completed in 2008. It is very centrally located, with Place Massena, the Promenade des Anglais, the beach, and Old Town is all within a short walking distance. The condo is on a quiet one-way street, however, Rue Massena, the main shopping street, is but one block away. Both in old Nice and the shopping area you find various cafes and restaurants, offering French and Italian cuisine, as well as Indian and Lebanese.
The building has a security gate, locked entryway, secure elevator and a parking garage for one car in the lower levels of the building. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, induction range-top, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer combo. Among the electric appliances are a juicer, toaster, and a coffee maker.
The living room has a sofa, a coffee table and 2 easy chairs, as well as a flat screen television. All meals can be enjoyed on the quiet courtyard balcony with its breakfast table accommodating five people.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed (1.80m x 2m) and built-in closet. The adjoining bedroom has a queen size bunk bed with a single bed on top, a chest of drawers and a built-in closet. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower/bathtub combo.
How to get there:
From the airport, take bus #98 and get off at stop Albert 1er/Phocéens (first stop after the bus exits from the Promenade des Anglais). From the stop it is a 5-minute walk to the condominium. The condominium is close to all other bus lines, and also next to the tram stop Place Massena. The train station is two tram stops away.
Being a high security condominium with premium location, it is an ideal choice for families with small kids or teenagers, for two couples on a city holiday or for a shopping getaway for a group of friends.

Why Owner chose Nice
Nice has 300 sun days a year, ideal vacation spot, on the French Riviera, close to the alps with many cultural opportunities in Provence, We bought this property to be a 'snowbirds' retirement place, to enjoy mild winters in Nice and away from the cold north. However circumstances and economic times have reset the retirement date, making it desirable to rent for travelers seeking quality accommodations at a modest price.
What makes this Condo unique
Nice is a vibrant city with excellent cuisine, beautiful weather and water sports in abundance, all within a short walk. The Rivera is a short drive or train ride to multiply beautiful places to enjoy for a day or longer. Outstanding museums and cultural opportunities are available throughout Provence. I enjoy this area more than any other area in the world. We will spend significant retirement time here when the time comes :)

My wife and I stayed at Dag’s apartment for about one week and loved it
Dag’s apartment couldn’t be in a better location in Nice. We were in walking distance of great restaurants, the beach, the train station and all the great sights in Nice.
Dag provided us with excellent day trip ideas and was responsive to all my inquiries. The apartment was comfortable and very clean.
I highly recommend staying here.
Brilliant unit and Location
The unit is in the centre of Old Town Nice and is in a brilliant location within walking distance of all main facilities, beach, promenade, etc. Excellently maintained, the unit met all our requirements and I highly recommend this to prospective users. The Nice contact person was excellent and very helpful which meant a confident and relaxing stay.

Nous avons passé 1 mois dans cet appartement. Nous avons été reçu par Christian, le gérant. Il est extrêmement gentil, disponible er serviable. L'appartement est dans une résidence très recente (2008) et calme. Sur le plan confort et propreté rien à redire. Le +++ un parking en sous sol. Nous avons été ravis. This property was well maintained and well equipped. Bedrooms were a good size with large closets. Two bathrooms but only one has a toilet. Wifi worked well, we enjoyed the balcony. The location was superb, close to Old Town, shopping, restaurants and bus stop. We did many day trips by bus to Cannes, St Paul de Vence, Eze, and a tour to Monaco. We enjoyed walking down to the market in the mornings and stocking up on fresh fruit, the flowers were awesome. We loved Nice, so much energy, we will definitely return, I would recommend this property.

I Would Give it Six Stars if I Could...
My family has rented various vacation properties all over the world over the past two decades, and this is one of the very best. Everything worked as it should. Communications and payment to the owner were easy and flawless. The local agent met us at the apartment at the scheduled time and showed us everything. The apartment is new and well furnished. The appliances were upper end European ones which took a little getting used to, but they all functioned very well. If one were looking to find something wrong, there is a bank of three lights above the sinks in the larger bathroom in which the middle bulb was burnt out. That is the worst thing I can say about this property! The wi-fi was of sufficient bandwidth for everything we wanted including VOIP applications such as Viber and Skype. We could also watch Netflix without difficulty. There is an unused HDMI port in the TV, so you could stream your computer through a device like Google Chromecast if you brought one.
The parking was small but priceless for those who have an automobile. Parking is impossible in Nice in general and is particularly bad in this upscale neighborhood. There is a large Monoprix grocery about four blocks away--turn left at Avenue Jean Medicin and follow tram tracks north and you will see it. It has everything including a large variety of gourmet prepared foods. The public beach was easily walkable and there are lots of cafes for outdoor dining and people watching. Side trips: Cannes-very chic and shows the lifestyles of the very rich. Antibes and Juan-les-Pins:Smaller old city than Vieux Nice with a fair amount of drab suburbs. Monaco: Much more of a collection of cement than I was expecting; fairly inaccessible if you are not staying in one of the hotels. Menton: Nice beach town with decent swimming. Ventimiglia: Dirty and uninteresting. Absolutely no parking on Market day (Friday) and Tolls on Italian side can take 1+ hour to get through (really). Market was not that great--we did not buy anything. Eze: very nice mountain village with shops and restaurants. Peille, Peillon, and St Agnes were much more interesting, but you need a car to get there over somewhat treacherous Alpine roads. St. Agnes has an old Maginot Line fort atop the mountain and you can tour the underground installation for 5 Euros. All in all, a great trip with great people, food, weather, and sights. One could easily stay without a car since public transit is quite good.
The property is located one block behind Messana Plaza where you will find the tram stop, bus stops, outdoor dining, street entertainers and upscale shopping.
The beach and Old Town are a short four blocks away
