Hello Charlotte, I am glad and it is nice that your family enjoyed your vacation at the villa and the pool. I am also glad that you visited the villa as extremely pleasant guests. I would be happy to welcome you back again in the near time. Unfortunately the new coffee machine was not a Nespresso. We are sorry but the wifi problem was not our fault. The problem was with the internet provider and affected the entire area, not just our villa. Since 29.07.22 these difficulties have been resolved, because a fiber cable is now installed to the villa. Dear guest We apologise once again that the tap water was not running when you arrived at the house. As you know, this was caused by an error made by the municipality of Lagoa when replacing the water meter. We were also surprised , especially as we were not informed about the replacement. There were no problems when cleaning the house before your arrival. However, our property manager quickly found and fixed the problem. You were only without tap water for an hour and a half. We are also not responsible for you locking yourself out. The front door is heavy. It therefore does not close by itself. Again we helped you quickly. There was no need to call a locksmith. We solved your problem for you inexpensively and within just one hour. The following day, you called and reported a power outage. You stated that you wanted to leave the property by car, but that the entrance gate would not open. Shortly afterwards, you were seen driving your car onto the road. When our property manager entered the property, you had already left. He could not detect any power outage. Nevertheless, we had the house checked by a reputable electrical company as a precaution. They confirmed that the electrical system in the house is in perfect working order. Especially in July and August, short-term power outages can occur in the municipal grid due to overload. Unfortunately, we cannot change this either.

On the night of the fourth day of their stay, guests reported problems. They reported that the outdoor unit of the air conditioning system in one of the rooms had suddenly started making loud noises and that one of the main fuses had blown. We commissioned a specialist company to check the building's electrical and air conditioning systems. This inspection revealed that the fuse had blown due to a defective charging cable belonging to the guests. No one could hear a loud noise from the air conditioning, neither the technicians nor the property manager nor the cleaning team. The technicians therefore called the guests and asked them to record the noise and send them the audio recording. The guests did not do so. The drains are cleaned every time the property is cleaned. The drain in the master bedroom shower only became blocked after the guests had been staying there for four days. The village of Praia do Carvoeiro and its beach are at sea level. Like all the other houses and villas, this villa is located above the village, but is within walking distance of the village and the beach.

Nach Ihren Angaben kam nur an einer der Duschen kein warmes Wasser, während gleichzeitig an allen anderen Duschen und allen Waschbecken das warme Wasser floss. Dann teilten Sie mit, dass doch warmes Wasser kommt. Wir haben zur Klärung eine Fachfirma beauftragt. Wie erwartet, bestätigte der Heizungstechniker, dass an der Dusche keine Störung vorliegt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte bei Ihrer Ankunft einwandfrei. Der Techniker für die Klimaanlage bestätigte uns, dass ein Bedienungsfehler und kein technischer Fehler vorgelegen hat. Hinsichtlich der Klimaanlage konnten wir Ihnen während Ihres Aufenthaltes leider nicht helfen, da Sie uns die Einstellungen an der Klimaanlage, um deren Mitteilung wir gebeten haben, nicht mitgeteilt haben. Die Betten haben orthopädische Matratzen. Salz, Pfeffer und Spülmittel gehören zur Grundausstattung des Hauses und hätten vorhanden sein müssen. Leider haben Sie das Fehlen erst in Ihrer Bewertung erwähnt. Für diesen Hinweis bedanken wir uns. Eine Antwort auf Ihr abschließendes Schreiben haben Sie von uns erhalten.

Wir bedauern sehr, dass Sie nicht zufrieden waren, müssen aber feststellen, dass die Bewertung nicht den Tatsachen entspricht. Tatsächlich haben Sie um 16 Uhr eingecheckt. Richtig ist, dass das Einfahrtstor einen Defekt hatte und dass ein einzelner elektrischer Rollladen in einer Fensterfront von 16 m beschädigt war. Beide Schäden wurden von vorherigen Gästen verursacht. Eine Reparatur wäre aufwendig und daher bei einem Aufenthalt von nur 7 Tagen störender gewesen, als der Schaden. Die Situation wurde kommuniziert. Eine Reparatur des Rolladens wurde nicht gewünscht. Ein Techniker für das Einfahrtstor wurde mehrfach zur Villa geschickt. Er wurde aber leider nicht eingelassen. Weitere Mängel gibt es nicht und wurden von Ihnen während Ihres Aufenthaltes auch nicht beanstandet. Die 5 Sterne Bewertungen zeigen, dass unsere Gäste auch in dieser Saison die Vorzüge der Villa in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Bitte bedenken Sie: Wir bringen unseren Gästen einen enormen Vertrauensvorschuss entgegen. Auch wenn die Interessen unserer Gäste für uns im Vordergrund stehen, hängt der Erfolg stets auch von der Achtsamkeit und Mitwirkung unserer Gäste ab.
