Frisco House Rental Photos and Description

House, 4 Bedrooms (Sleeps 10-12), mountain views, near activites, shops, & food.

If you're looking for a mountain home that welcomes you the moment you lay eyes on it, surrounded by mountain pine and aspen trees yet conveniently located to any mountain activity you desire - this is the place for you! Easy access to I-70 and downtown Frisco. Enjoy shopping at the numerous boutiques on mainstreet, stop and relax at a local coffee house, enjoy great food at one of the many restaurants - all within walking distance. The home is located in a secluded, quiet, wooded setting yet centrally located to surrounding mountain towns (15 min to Breckenridge, 20 min to Keystone, 10 min to Cooper Mountain, 25 min to Vail/Beaver Creek) and easily accessed via bike trails, free bus shuttle or car. You feel at home as soon as you pull in the driveway. A warning, however - you may be tempted to stay right at home with a good book (as you relax in one of many comfy chairs) or for a long overdue soak in the hot tub while the remainder of your party ventures out to explore the vast natural Rocky Mountain beauty of Summit County.

Guestbook comments from the owner

OurFriscoHouse (OFH) is not only a very nice house, it is also the best equipped one we’ve ever rented. My wife and daughter’s-in-laws really appreciated having all the necessary tools since they prepared almost all our meals. The layout was great for our family of all ages and we loved all the natural light provided by the windows. Everyone had a great time especially the young adults who got in lots of skiing and snowboarding at Copper Mountain (our favorite place to ski/snowboard). The grandkids (cousins) had lots of fun together and they had a blast at the Frisco tubing slopes. Thanks for the use of your wonderful home. When we return to Frisco we will certainly consider renting OFH again if we are able to coordinate another family outing. And, we will certainly recommend OFH if any of our friends or relatives ask for suggestions.

Another Great Stay !

  • 5 of 5

We just go back from our fifth stay at the Frisco House. We arrived to a slight hitch but a call to Becky, the house manager, and the problem was fixed. We love staying here, it feels like home. It is totally equipped including the kitchen. Since we stay for a month we do a lot of cooking so appreciate everything we need is here. Breckenridge is close as are Vail, Copper, Silverthorn and Dillon. A lot of the mountain peaks still had some snow which always add more beauty to the area. We usually have some visitors once or twice during our stay and they all love their time here. We have rented boats at Lake Dillon which is only minutes from the house. Every Sunday Vail has a great Market Days and Dillon has one every Friday morning. And there is always at least a couple big art shows in Breckenridge and Frisco. We always take lots of scenic drives and we love the weather which is about at least 30 degrees cooler then at our home in Texas. Hope to be there next year again!

Wonderful location and house

  • 5 of 5

This is our third visit to the quiet mountain home. The house is very cozy and comfortable and stocked with everything a family would need for their vacation. It is in a wonderful location, close to all ski slopes and wonderful hikes. We have always enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visiting again next year.

Wonderful Family Home

  • 5 of 5

This was among my two or three best experiences on HomeAway/VRBO. Becky is so well organized and communicative. Everything is laid out clearly, the house in incredibly well stocked, the garage is large enough for two full size vehicles, and there is plenty of space for a large family (or in our case, two families). We were so close to all that Summit County has to offer, just blocks from Main St. in Frisco and less than ten minutes to anything in Silverthorne, Dillon or Copper Mountain. You can't hear I-70 from the house, but it's only two minutes away!

The kitchen was so well stocked we were able to cook anything we wanted to. Normally I have to run to a big box store to find at least one pan or baking dish or something, but it was all present in abundance. There were three coffee options (drip, Keurig and French Press), along with a nice assortment of spices and oils. Becky stocks the master bedroom with consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) in the event that you use a little more than anticipated, and you simply refill when done. In addition, everything is so well labeled and easy to use. The property binder is as clear as it can be. Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at OFH for a two month hiking and biking getaway. We love the fact that the home is located near the biking path and not far from a lot of great hiking. It is also just a short walk to downtown Frisco. Our grandkids love to visit while we are there. There are plenty of games and movies for them to choose from at the house, and a number of playgrounds nearby. And plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is well stocked which is nice because my husband and I love to cook at home. We have three cairn terriers that love to go for long walks in the neighborhood, and on the bike path. The hot tub is wonderful. Especially when you have sore muscles from all the physical activity. We have found Becky to be very responsive to any needs or concerns. A wonderful vacation home! We will be back.

OFH is a perfect home away from home.......again!

  • 5 of 5

This is our fourth day at this Frisco home and we enjoyed as much as the first time years ago. It's the perfect home for us with plenty of space for our visitors who just want to enjoy the beauty beauty of Frisco and it's surrounding area of majestic mountains and the towns nearby. Vail is only a twenty minute drive and a great place to spend the day. Breckenridge is only a ten minute drive and fun place to explore. Our daughter took our 9 year old son to the Breckenridge fun park and loved it as much as they did two years ago. We all enjoyed the Georgetown Loop train ride. Becky, the property manager, answers any concerns and questions promptly and with satisfaction. They house is very clean and has the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen in any rental. Bedding is very comfortable and there is a tv in every bedroom. There is more then enough space for everyone with a full basement with huge tv and game room for kids of all ages. We will be back again next year and can't wait. One more thing.....our visitors took the Summit Express from DIA to Frisco which with quick and direct without any stops to the house. The transfer station is 5 minutes from the house so is easy for pickup and drop off if you prefer that option.
