About this property

Forest bungalow on Lake Twistesee

We rent our idyllic holiday home, which is located in the holiday park on Lake Twistesee. At the beginning of the 1980s, a local recreation area was created on Lake Twistesee, a reservoir that had been created shortly before. All houses were built in the Scandinavian style, either as "Nurdach-Haus" or as a log house and have a rustic charm.

The house has been lovingly renovated and maintained over the years. It has 2 bedrooms, 1x 1 double bed, 1x 2 single beds. A large sofa bed in the living room offers space for another guest. A bathroom with shower, an open kitchen and a cozy dining area complete the offer.

We are very animal-loving and our two dogs are regularly in the house, so this ad is aimed especially at animal lovers and people who are close to nature and do not need much luxury!

The Twistesee offers attractive water sports with its well-known lido, boat rental and water ski facility. The bike paths around the lake and in the area are well developed, so that cyclists or hikers get their money's worth. In the complex itself there is a mini golf course, a tennis court and a large playground with barbecue facilities as well as a badminton court and table tennis tables. There is a beautifully designed golf course right next to the holiday park.

About 3 km away is Bad Arolsen, a charming town with old half-timbered houses, a baroque castle, some nice cafés and fine dining. In bad weather there is the opportunity to use the "Arobella" leisure pool.

There are also numerous corporate goals in the surrounding area. For example, there are some thermal baths, a unique zoo (Sababurg) and Kassel is not very far away.

All in all, there are many ways to relax, play sports and switch off.

We offer our guests free WiFi.
You will be received personally on the day of arrival and asked to pay the additional costs (€ 2 per person / night) and the final cleaning fee of € 40 in cash. Dogs and cats are welcome to bring 5 € per night per animal.

Towels, tea towels and bed linen are not available.

The kitchen has a coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher, a stove with ceramic hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge and a freezer.

Soweit sehr schön. Lage ist wirklich schön. Einiges vom Inventar ist allerdings wirklich in die Jahre gekommen. Aber wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Schimmel an den Fenstern, muffiger Geruch im Haus, Küche mit Klebestreifen repariert, Geschirr und Besteck ein Sammelsurium …! Hier sollte mal einiges erneuert werden, was allerdings für den ganzen Ferienpark gilt.

Sehr gute Erholung

Der Ferienpark am Twistesee ist sehr schön im Wald gelegen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist sehr schön und man hat dort alles was man zum täglichen Leben braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Häuschen in einem Ferienpark am See

Ein schönes sauberes Ferienhaus, in dem fünf Personen genügend Platz haben. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung war perfekt! Die Lage ist sehr schön. Ruhig und entspannt. Der See lädt zum spazieren ein und im Sommer sicher zum baden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter/Verwalter war tadellos.

Het huis was prima. Schoon, leuk en alles aanwezig. Het was echter ontzettend stil op het park en je zag bijna niemand. Daar moet je van houden, maar was niet ons ding. Ook in de nabije omgeving niet veel kunnen ondernemen.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus war wirklich toll. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön, es war alles da, was man benötigt. Tolle Terrasse, tolle Lage im Wald. Leider hat das Wetter nicht so mitgespielt. Wir können das Ferienhaus/Blockhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Tagsüber und auch abends war eine herrliche Ruhe.

Schön aber ausbaufähig

Die Hütte liegt in einem Ferienpark, 5 Minuten von Bad Arolsen entfernt. Der Park liegt oberhalb des Twistesees in einem Waldstück. Es gibt Parkmöglichkeiten und Handkarren um das Gepäck vom Auto bis zu den Hütten zu transportieren. Die Hütte ist gemütlich eingerichtet, vor allem der Wohnzimmerbereich hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Eine kleine überdachte Veranda vor dem Haus ist perfekt um draußen zu sitzen. Das Doppelbett knarrt leider ziemlich laut. Im Inserat war angegeben, dass man auf dem Grillplatz auf dem Gelände grillen kann. Dies taten wir auch, leider ist aufgrund der hohen Waldbrandgefahr das Grillen auf dem gesamten Gelände mittlerweile untersagt. Hätten wir dies vorher gewusst hätten wir weniger Gepäck mitnehmen müssen.

Für eine Auszeit genau das richtige, schöne Umgebung, im Haus alles da was man braucht. Nur für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung nicht geeignet da alles sehr uneben und sehr hügelig. Bitte unbedingt bedenken!!!!

Wir haben das Ferienhaus hauptsächlich gemietet, weil wir Hunde mitnehmen durften. Wir waren komplett begeistert! Die lage war super, das Haus war mega und die Abwicklung zum Check in und out mit der "Hausfee" Frau Schumacher ging auch total unkompliziert. Sehr nette Dame. Im Haus gab es ein Gästebuch. Haben wir auch gleich was rein geschrieben. Sehr nette Idee!!! Alles in allem ein tolles Wochenende

Verregneter Urlaub

Das Objekt ist in einem guten Zustand. Leider entspricht die Entfernung zum Strand nicht wie in der Beschreibung. Für mich war der steile Zugang sehr beschwerlich. Eine Möglichkeit zum Ausleihen für Fahrräder haben wir nicht gefunden. Damit kann man die schöne Umgebung sicher gut erkunden.
