This is our second spring break at The Bins. This year we stayed in The Big Bin. It was incredibly comfortable and well stocked. Extensive list of amenities. Love the short drive into town, seeing deer and turkeys. Communication with owner was quick and easy. Definitely recommend!
Not too far out of the main town, but enough to feel private. The inside is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property during our girls' trip! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—close to the hot springs and local attractions, yet quiet enough to feel like a true escape. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Lava Hot Springs!
Silo was a unique and a fun place to stay ! We needed a few days to run away and relax. It’s close to downtown and the pools. And it was quiet. Hopefully we can return in the near future.
My wife and I stayed at The Big Bin for her birthday. The rental was exactly what I wanted with an unusual property and beautiful landscape. The unit was clean on arrival and the owner helped with a special request for some birthday balloons. Thanks for a fantastic stay! Highly recommended!
Stayed here for a quick getaway with friends. Had plenty of space and amenities. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe add a grill to the back area where the fire pit is and maybe add laundry to the room where the back door is if you can. Otherwise it was perfect!!
We have been traveling to places with hot springs. Lava Hot Springs is, of course, high on the list of places to go. I was so excited to find the Bins, because they looked so unique on the app. When we arrived, I was so happy to discover they were even nicer and cleaner than the images. The beds are comfy, I love the living room and kitchen set up. It is perfect for long chats, allowing us to sit comfortably. I recommend the Bins to anyone who is heading to Lava. In fact, a coworker is planning to stay there next year!
Loved this property. It’s on a quiet area a few minutes from downtown Lava Hot Springs. Clean property with comfortable beds and very inviting. Loved the fire put in the back yard. Would stay here again.
This place is perfect! It’s just far enough away from town that you’re not in all the chaos of a tourist town but close enough that going back and forth several times a day is not a big deal. We often took the back road to town and let my two younger kids (10 and 12) sit in the bed of the truck on camp chairs to take it all in. The house is super clean and has all the kitchen gadgets you need. Tons of towels and extra blankets. No laundry though, but we knew that ahead of time so we were able to plan accordingly.
The kids loved that every room had their own TV so they felt like royalty having remote authority.
I’d say the only down side is that my older kids (15 & 17) weren’t with us to enjoy it all.
Definitely a trip we’ll remember!
Stayed at quite a few properties over the years. This is the first one where my wife and I thought, "Wow, these owners really have thought through everything one could want at a short term rental." Little things (like having enough towel hooks, which is so often not the case) were all taken care of. The whole space was really well designed. Would absolutely stay again.
